CHAPTER 4

[JESSICA P.O.V]

“hey sica, I’ll go out for lunch, want to join me?”

I look up from the documents I’m reading to sooyoung who is standing in front of my desk.

I didn’t even hear her come inside my office

“no I’m still busy, you go ahead and eat your lunch now” I said and look back again at the documents I’m reading as I’m trying to ignore her

“your back to being ice princess again, the smile you have earlier is now gone, maybe I should go out and find that thing or person who make you smile like that earlier” she said I can’t see her expression but I can feel she’s grinning because of her genius plan.

Did sooyoung and my dad talked behind my back and planned to annoy me today?

Or they are just bored and want to make fun of me

Earlier I found a CD placed on top of my desk with name on it, I thought it was important so I quickly put it on my laptop.

I thought it was a CD full of documents about work.

But the hell I was wrong, it was the copy of the video I watched earlier with my dad at the security’s office

I can’t believe my dad really asked for a copy of it

That old man, I’m going to get back at him someday.

I place the documents I’m holding down my desk and look, no glare at sooyoung.

I have to make her get out of my office, before I lose my patience.

But before I open my mouth and say something

“fine, I’ll go out of your office now no need to say anything ice princess, geez why so moody today?” she said with both her hands up

I’m glad she got the message with just the glare I gave her.

That got me smirking in triumph while my enemy, I mean sooyoung turns her back and walks to the door.

But before she even get out, she turns her back again and face me with again a grin on her face.

“sica, we have a new employee today” she said, I think she’s trying to imply something but whatever it is I don’t care

“so?” I said as I pick up again the documents I’m reading earlier

“just sayin” she then turns her back again, this time she gets out of my office

“finally” I said then continue doing my work

[TIFFANY P.O.V]

“hi tiffany!” someone yelled my name from the back

I’m currently fixing my things on my desk

I take a look back and saw sooyoung waving her hand as she smiled cheekily 

I wave back and smile at her

She then starts walking and comes at my way

I’m glad employees here are friendly just like sooyoung, I don’t have to worry from adjusting around them

“hey fany” sooyoung nudge my arm lightly, she’s now standing beside me

“do you want to go out for lunch?” she asked

“uhm, sure” I said as my back facing her, I’m still quite not done yet with arranging the things on my desk

“wow, you sure like color pink a lot” she said sounding a little amused

I face her and smile

“pink is my favorite color…”

“well it shows” she lightly chuckled, then she clings to my right arm

“let’s go fany, I’m really hungry”

“okay, let’s go” then she drags me out of the office

We are now at a sandwich shop not too far from our office

Sooyoung is currently busy munching her fries

I softly laugh seeing her eating like that, she really looks hungry

“sooyoung, may I ask you a question?” I said after I took a sip on my orange juice

She stops eating and wipes the side of

“sure”

“why do we have to go out and eat our lunch if the employees lounge is full of free food?”

Sooyoung gulped hard before answering tiffany’s question

Yes she knows that the employees lounge got a lot of free food to offer for the employees

But there’s a reason why she wants to eat outside

She’s planning something for the ice princess who is still inside her office reading those boring documents or maybe sleeping

dragging tiffany out the office is not included in her plan she just wants to be friends with the new employee

But thinking again, she might also include tiffany for her plan

Sooyoung smiles sheepishly to tiffany

“I just want to eat something ner, I guess” sooyoung said then she continues eating again

I just nodded and continues to eat my tuna sandwich

“tiffany, may I also ask you a question?” she said while placing her sandwich back on the plate in front of her

“sure”

“have you already been introduce to ms. Jung?”

“uhm, ms. Lee I think had said ms. Jung earlier when she’s taking me for a tour around the office, but I haven’t been introduce to her, why?” I answered

“ahh, I guess you’ll meet her later and uhm..she’s an ice princess so be careful hehe” she said with a wide grin on her face

Who’s ms. Jung?

Ice princess? Why do I have to be careful?

Is sooyoung planning something?

Or should I just shrug the thought off and continue eating my sandwich?

I guess I’ll go with the fourth

I just shrug off whatever I’m feeling of what sooyoung might be planning and just continue eating my sandwich

“I’m so full” sooyoung said while rubbing her stomach

After those food she ate earlier, who wouldn’t get full with that

But looking at her figure, with someone who has an appetite like her I find it amazing that she’s still skinny.

“fany, will you bring this sandwich to ms. Jung later when we are now at our floor?” she said while giving me the paper bag with the sandwich she take-out earlier.

We are now inside the elevator

“sure” I answered and took the paper bag from her hand

“thanks” and she’s grinning again

I wonder what she’s really planning

Or is she really planning something?

The elevator door opens

Okay back to work again

“see you later fany” sooyoung quickly walks away leaving me behind

Yes she’s friendly but I find her actions a little weird

I just sigh and went out of the elevator before the door closes

Okay I have to deliver this sandwich first to ms. Jung and then I will go back to my place and start arranging my thins again

But I don’t know where Ms. Jung’s office is

Ah, wait I think I saw her office earlier

Yes now I remember, it’s in front of Mr. Jung’s office

I wonder why we didn’t get the chance to be introduce earlier, I already met mr. jung

Is ms. Jung and mr. jung related to each other?

I stop from walking and looks at the door on my right side, it’s mr. jung’s office and on the left side is ms. Jung’s office.

I then approach the door to ms. Jung’s office

I knocked two times and twist the door knob

I think she didn’t hear me go inside her office, but as I can see she’s holding documents and it looks like she’s reading those papers

Seems like she’s too focus on working that she didn’t even heard or noticed that I’m already inside her office

The documents she’s reading is covering her face

I walk slowly approaching her desk

“uhm, ms. Jung” I said, I’m now standing in front of her desk

I think she didn’t hear me

“ms. Jung?” I said again

“sooyoung wants me to give you this sandwiches, where should I put them?” I said as I’m looking around her office

I still didn’t get any response from her

It’s really weird I’m in front of her now but she’s not even moving, the documents is still covering her face

I slowly reach for one of the documents that are covering her face and put it down on her desk

Her eyes are close

She’s sleeping

Then I notice her hair

“blonde?”

Wait is she the one who I bumped into earlier?

I slowly take the last two documents she’s holding

Omg! It’s Jessica!

And she’s sleeping

her face is so peaceful and so cute and I can’t help but smile on her cute sleeping face

sooyoung said she’s an ice princess

I wonder why? She looks so harmless

wait I haven’t known her for too long, I should stop thinking like this

I might look like a creeper

I cleared my throat and compose myself, since she’s sleeping I don’t want to wake her up

I slowly place the paper bag with the sandwich on her desk and slowly turn my back to go to the door

I gave one last look at her then I went out of her office
