Chapter 4

During the photoshoot the members had to take pictures with Go Ara. She was super lucky being in the middle of 5 good looking boys. Jaejoong couldn’t help but feel jealous because she and Yunho seemed so close. If any fan were to look in, they would think she and Yunho matched the most as being the perfect couple.

When the pictures were finished Jaejoong noticed the manager coming up to him.

“Hey Hyung, Is there something wrong?” Jaejoong asked.

The manager nodded, “The photographer and even I have noticed that you have been looking down these days. Why Jae? What happened to that beautiful smile?” his questions made Jaejoong bite his lips. No way was he going to tell the manager that he was jealous of Go Ara.

“I…It’s nothing” Jaejoong tried to say but the manager shook his head.

“Something must have happened. Who bullied you? Wait you’re the umma, they can’t bully you unless they want to starve” his comment only made Jaejoong smile. The manager was such a dork. “Aww that’s the beautiful smile. I want you to show that more alright? Or else SM might pay you a visit and I doubt you would like that”

Jaejoong just nodded and walked away joining the rest of the guys. They were all afraid of SM and no way would he like SM to visit their place.

“What happened umma?” Changmin asked.

“Hyung just told me to smile more” Jaejoong replied, “It’s nothing big”. From Jaejoong’s comment Yunho already knew Jaejoong was depressed because of him and Ara. He couldn’t help but smile because of that. He actually got Jaejoong hopes down! This was all he wanted, not to mention Ara is a beautiful girl. He wouldn’t mind having a relationship with her.

“That was an awesome photoshoot everyone!~” Ara hugged them. Yoochun wanted to dislike her but he couldn’t. She was so bubbly and such a nice person. Jaejoong couldn’t even dislike her; he even thought Yunho had good taste in girls.

Jaejoong wanted to be happy but it was so difficult.

When they got home from the photoshoot, it was supposed to be the 5 of them. But Yoochun suggested they leave their appa and umma alone so the three left for an important ‘meeting’. Yunho and Jaejoong knew what the three was up to and now they were stuck in the kitchen together.

The awkwardness is about to begin.

“…Are you hungry Yunnie?” Jaejoong asked only to see Yunho shaking his head. Yunho had never denied his cooking this much before, was something wrong?

“I’m going to my room” Yunho said but before he could walk away Jaejoong grab on his arm. Feeling Jaejoong grab his arm like that he quickly yanked away, like Jaejoong had some type of disease attached to him or something.

“Can’t you stay and talk with me a bit..?” Jaejoong felt sad that Yunho was being so cold to him. Yunho wasn’t like this before and now Yunho has completely changed, to a completely new person.

“I don’t want to talk to you” Yunho said bluntly making Jaejoong’s eyes widen.

“Did I do something wrong..?” Jaejoong asked with his soft voice. Since he and Yunho had been close friends he would like Yunho to tell him if he has done something wrong or what kind of flaws he had.

Yunho ignored Jaejoong once again and was about to walk away until Jaejoong tried pulling him back. It was then Yunho felt his veins burst from anger.

“Don’t touch me. Don’t ing touch me”

His words made Jaejoong frightened. It because Yunho has never cursed before so this time it has scared Jaejoong. It wasn’t like he had a disease or anything, why was Yunho being so mean to him and afraid of his touches?

“I…I’m sorry” Jaejoong apologized, “But can you tell me what’s wrong? What did I do wrong for you to be so cold to me?”

Jaejoong’s question only made Yunho smirk. Jaejoong should know what he did. It was because of him that the whole group was trying to pair them up together. Yunho was disgusted thinking about the idea. Two guys together is just wrong. Guys should be with girls.

“You should know what you did Jaejoong. Now just leave me alone, I don’t want to see your face” Yunho said as he walked into his room. Jaejoong stood in the middle of the kitchen still thinking. What did he do wrong? And why isn’t Yunho telling him?

He wanted to go yell at Yunho for being rude but this wasn’t the time.

Inside his room Jaejoong looked at himself in the mirror. He was really nothing compared to Go Ara. She was skinny, pretty and she had Yunho’s attention. Jaejoong blinked as he felt a tear making its way down his cheek. He just wants to be with Yunho. Why was it so hard? They could keep is a secret from everyone, no one had to know. It’s just Yunho doesn’t seem to want to cooperate right now. Yunho always complimented that he was pretty, was he not pretty enough? Or was it because of his body?

‘Maybe I should get skinner’ Jaejoong thought to himself. Others may say he looks like a stick but maybe if he was skinner Yunho would pay more attention to him? Then it would be easier to confess.

“Umma!” he heard Yoochun come into his room and jumped on the bed. “So how was the alone time with Appa?”

Jaejoong just bit his lips and looked down on the bed. He couldn’t tell Yoochun that Yunho has changed and has been cold to him. That would just cause drama and the last thing he needed was drama.

“W…We didn’t really talk, it was awkward” Jaejoong said stuttering. Yoochun could sense something was wrong. They were soulmates after all, he could sense anything. He did figure out Jaejoong’s crush on Yunho earlier, this would be the same.

“Did something happen? Come on Jae tell me” Jaejoong knew Yoochun was suspicious and serious if Yoochun said his name instead of calling him umma.

“Nothing, and you guys should stop trying to give us alone time. It just makes it awkward” Jaejoong said while playfully punching Yoochun’s shoulder.

Yoochun just laughed, “I thought it was a good idea. I even thought YunJae would get it on, but I guess not”

His words made Jaejoong blush, “You are such a ert Yoochun!”

“I know umma but you love me” Yoochun stuck his tongue out and ran out of Jaejoong’s room before Jaejoong hits him again. Jaejoong could only laugh at the dorky guy. After Yoochun was gone Jaejoong got up from the bed and pulled up his shirt to see his waist, that’s it. He had to make sure he becomes perfect and maybe Yunho would give him a chance! Then when he confesses he won’t get rejected. The idea of rejection scared him.
