Chapter 3.

Soo Jin's POV

 

As Hye Ri continued to tell her story, I couldn’t help but notice how her Wooyoung sounded a lot like my Wooyoung. Okay well technically he’s not mine but you get the picture.

 

“So to summarize everything.” I said as she ended her tale. “You two met in the States. Basically bumping into each other here and there until you two decided to talk. Right?”

 

“Yes.”

 

“Sounds like the TV Show ‘Bewitched’ to me. But I like it.” I happily said chuckling a bit.

 

“I have to agree with you on that.” She added also laughing.

 

“Okay. Then you two met but got separated after you came back to Korea only to bump into each other again in a coffee shop in the streets of Gangnam?”

 

She nodded with a big smile. “So?”

 

“All I can say is how about a color theme of White and Bronze? White is usually a staple color for all weddings and well since you two officially became a couple in that coffee shop, the Bronze color symbolizes ‘coffee’. Corny, yes I know but that is just my opinion, it still depends on you.”

 

"Aniyo. I like it! I really really like it! That thought never came into my mind."

 

"That's good to hear."

 

"But, if it is alright with you, can you add another color?”

 

“Of course! Like I said, Personalized you wedding. So, what color would that be?”

 

“Golden Yellow; It’s our favorite color.”

 

I firmly nodded at her request when Chanyeol suddenly appeared by the door looking all tensed.

 

“Yeollie. Are you alright? Is there anything you need?” I worriedly asked standing up.

 

“Soo Jin-ah." He said in a hard voice. What's wrong with him? "Someone is here to see you.”

 

“Chincha? Please let them in.”

 

Chanyeol obediently yet anxiously nodded and took a step backward gesturing his hands forward. In a matter of seconds, my world seemed to stop.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

In came a handsome looking man dressed in a pair of beige-colored slacks and a buttoned up polo shirt. He had the most striking features and his bronze hair added more to his charisma.

 

“Kris!” Hye Ri called out. “What are you doing here? Where’s Wooyoung?”

 

He gave her a small smil and answered, “He said he couldn’t come. His flight was delayed and that he won’t be coming until this evening.”

 

“Aigoo. That man really.” Hye Ri mumbled to herself as she covered her face with her right palm.

 

I took my seat , I intently watched the two interact when Kris suddenly looked at me straight in the eye. Noticing this, I quickly lowered my head down as if I was reading some notes, trying to look busy that is. I swear I heard him chuckle. What so funny? Aish. This guy maybe handsome and what not, but he sure is full of himself. Okay sorry if I was assuming that much. But by the look of it he IS full of himself.

 

With a moment too soon, Ull Li came in also with a worried look on her face. “Jinnie!”

 

I quickly stood up once again as she stopped in front of me with her hands on my shoulders. “Ull Li. Tell me what’s wrong. Did anything bad happen?!”

 

“The Photographer backed out on us!”

 

“What?! How?! Why?!” I nervously asked. Oh no. This is bad. SO BAD! No one has ever backed out on us! And to make things worse, THIS IS THE PRESIDENT'S SON'S WEDDING! ASDFGHJKLKJHGFDSASDFGHJK!

 

“Jinnie!” Another voice boomed through the hallways and in came Chanyeol with an even more worried look.

 

“The Amount of Money Spent for the Kang’s Wedding exceeded the Proposed Budget! This never happened before! Who was left in charge?!”

 

"BWOH?!" Ommo! Why now?! Ouch!  Aigoo~ My head hurts.

 

As I felt my head thumping, I waved my hands in front of them signaling them to stop talking. I then slumped myself back on my chair and covered my face with my hands. Relax Soo Jin. Relax.  Letting out a deep sigh, I turned to them; “You.” I said pointing to Ull Li. “Don't we have a back-up Photographer? If we don’t have one I want a list of the top notch photographers in Korea as soon as possible with contact details. Arasso?”

 

“Deh.”

 

“And you.” This time pointing to Chanyeol. “I want all those who were assigned for the Kang’s wedding in the conference hall in 15 minutes. When I mean all, I mean ALL. Got it?”

 

“Yes Ma’am!” He answered back doing a small salute before leaving with Ull Li. As I watched the two leave, I noticed how they looked a t the new guy, Kris. If I wasn't mistaken, it was like a glare. Do they know each other? Ah. Aigoo~ My head. Aish.

 

“Aigoo~” I muttered to myself as I massaged my temples. “Relax Soo Jin. Just Relax.”

 

“Excuse me Soo Jin-ah? Are you alright?” Hye Ri asked as she went beside me resting her hand on my back.

 

“Yeah. Sorry about that.”

 

“Anniyo. It’s alright. Gosh, I never knew that being a wedding planner is hard.”

 

“You have no idea Hye Ri-ssi.” I said shaking my head from side to side and finally stretching to fix myself up.

 

“By the way.” Hye Ri began. “I would like you to meet one of my fiancé’s Best Man and also my cousin, Wu Fan. You can call him Kris for short. Kris, meet the wedding planner Miss Kim Soo Jin.”

 

“Nice to meet you Miss Kim.” Kris said as he extended his long arm to me.

 

I plastered on a genuine smile and took it, shaking it gently. “Soo Jin. Nice to meet you to Kris-ssi.”

 

“Just Kris.” He quickly added letting my hand go.

 

“I’m so sorry Soo Jin-ah. I tried calling Wooyoung but I believe his phone is off.” Hye Ri said taking her place beside Kris.

 

“It’s okay. I can still meet him next time.” I answered back standing up, I looked at my watch and then started gathering my things. “If you’ll excuse me, I have a staff meeting in about six minutes. How about we’ll meet again this Saturday, around one in the afternoon? Will that be alright?”

 

“Ommo! Mianhe. I can’t! I’ll be flying to Singapore this Friday Night and won’t be able to come back ‘til Monday Evening. Ottoke?”

 

I thought for a while and after a few seconds, as I was about to speak, Kris suddenly interrupted me. “I guess I can do it for you RiRi.”

 

“Chincha? You would do that for me?” She happily said jumping up and down like a little kid. Despite her mature features, she sure is a kid at heart.

 

“Of course.” Kris gladly said ruffling her brown hair. I couldn’t help but smile at the scene. They both look good together. Too bad they’re cousins.

 

I then let out a small cough and faced them, “So Kris-ssi-"

 

"Kris."

 

"Mianhe. Kris, this Saturday?”

 

He nodded and let out a small smile. I bowed at the both of them and proceeded to exit the room when Chanyeol suddenly appeared in front of me. “Ommo! Yah Chanyeol! What are you doing here? Didn’t I want all of you in the Conference Hall?!”

 

“I came to fetch you.” He coolly answered grabbing the portfolios from my hands and then taking my right hand into his. “Kaja?”

 

“Aish. Arasso.” I finally agreed waving to Kris and Hye Ri who were still standing inside the office.

 

Kris’ POV

 

As Chanyeol and Soo Jin left, Hye Ri immediately faced me with a smirk. “I know that face Kris.”

 

“What face?” I answered acting cool.

 

“This face.” She said imitating my expression. Epic Failure RiRi.

 

I snorted and looked away, “I don’t know what you’re talking about.”

 

“You like her do you?”

 

I remained silent still looking at the door from which Soo Jin exited. I couldn’t explain what I felt, but do I like her?
