Holding on to the victory trophy, he was busy looking for someone on the stage. Just like in the past.

He found her.

She is watching him too.

Their eyes met.

They smiled to each other with a common consensus.

 

| Music Bank Victory Celebration |

All S.M artistes and staffs went for dinner after broadcast  to celebrate EXO-K's win. Their seniors TTS are present too. Though TTS didn't get their straight 4th win, they are happy for their outstanding juniors. Same for the members from EXO-M and SHINee, they are all thrilled for the 6 young men.

Throughout the celebration, Baekhyun's eyes didn't leave her. He wasn't sure if she meant it when she talked about the "gift". He didn't ask about it though. He just tried to immerse himself in the party that his company and labelmates had prepared for their music bank victory.

Soon, the party was over.

Yet, he didn't have a chance to talk to her.
 

With disappointment, he board the van and headed back to his dorm.

Back in the dorm, the boys are just too excited to fall asleep and thus, continue with their celebration. Baek didn't join in. He said he was tired. Lying on the bed, he couldn't fall asleep. His mind just keeps replaying the moment when she smiled to him on the stage. 

"That's the gift she was talking about? The smile??"
 

"Beep"

A text message popped out on his cellphone.
 

TY: Congratulations for the win!

Noona is happy for you.

I'm glad to see you enjoyed at the party.

It's now time for noona to realise my promise.

 
A smile flashed across his face.

"So she didn't forget about our deal..."

"Though we didn't talk at the party, she still notice me??"

His smile widened.

B: Kamsahamnida!

I'm really happy today.

I'm glad noona was there to celebrate our victory.

So Noona, regarding the "gift" .... can reveal?

TY: Hmmm, not now. *smirk face*

I checked with your manager.

You have no schedule on next monday.

Just mark your calendar and make yourself available on that day.

Got it?
 

B: So secretive??

Deh. Calendar marked.

Do I need to make any sort of preparation?

 
TY: Nope. Just wait for the day to come.

And wait for my instructions.

Noona gotta go now.

He almost jumped up from his bed in excitement.

Not only she is realising her promise , they just had the longest Kakao Chat in the past three years!!!

It was a special night for Baek, the music bank win and his long-lost moment with Taeyeon...

 

| A couple of days later @ S.M Practice Room |

"Beep"

Baekhyun rushed to his cellphone in the middle of their choreography practice.

He opened the text eagerly.

TY: Tomorrow is the day.

Be ready at 9am.

Wait for my text then.

See You.

"See You??"

"Does it mean we are meeting tomorrow?"

"What is she up to? She's so unexpected. (laugh to himself)"

A voice coming from the back startled him.

Sehun: Hyung!! in case you didn't notice, we are in the middle of practice.

D.O: Because of you, we need to do it all over again.

Baekhyun: Erm mianhae, just 1 more min. I have an important text to reply.

Chanyeol: Who's text so important?? (tried to peep at his phone)

Baek hid it, of course.

Suho: It's okay. Just take a 5 mins break everyone. But Baek, don't do this again. You are interrupting our practice. (pat on Baek's shoulder)

Baekhyun: Mianhae, guys. No next time. I promised.

The other 5 members smiled back at him. They were just joking. In fact, they are glad to see him back to his usual self again. Earlier the week, Baek was in bad mood ever since he returned to the dorm that day. None of them have the courage to ask him how things went between him and her. Somehow they can tell things didn't go well, so they avoided the topic.

B: Arrasso!

I'm looking forward to the "gift".

See You. ^ ^

And Baek returned the message with full anticipation loaded.

Noona, I'm in Myeongdong district now.

What's next?

9.43am, TY:

Put on your cap and shade now.

Make your way to Lotte Theatre.

Collect your ticket at the counter (it's paid for already)
 

10.00am, B:

Collected my ticket.

What's next??

10.02am, TY:

Just come in then!! *faint*

Double up!!

The movie has started.

"......"

"....."

"We are watching a movie together??"

Two seconds of thoughts before Baek realised that.

He quickly sped up his footstep and made his way into the dark theatre with a wide grin on his face.

He entered the theatre and locate his seat. The theatre is quite empty considering it's a Monday morning. Finally, he found his seat number. And there, he found someone with a cap, a mask and a huge cup of popcorns.

She pulled down her mask and greets him with a smile.

Realising it's her, he greeted her back with a satisfying smirk and sat down beside her. 

Baek couldn't focus what was playing on the screen at all. He still find it hard to believe he is in a movie theatre with her. His heart just beat faster as each minute passed. He couldn't help but keep looking at the strange girl beside him, munching on the popcorn, pulling her mask up and down each time she ate one.  

"How can she be so interestingly weird cute?"

"Someone at her age, yet still behaving like an 18 years old."

She offered him popcorns, he took one and put into his mouth. Baek never like popcorns, but that one taste really good

"But wait..."

"Both of us out for a movie alone. What does this imply?"

"Are we on a date or something??"
 

Baek quickly mental-slapped himself for thinking that way.

He then turned his eyes away from her and tried hard to focus whatever was playing on the screen.

 

| 1 hour later ... |

"Vibrating mode"

Baek took out his cellphone.


11.15am, TY:

Let's leave separately in 15 mins time before the movie ends.

To avoid crowd. =)

Leave using the back exit. It will lead us to the backdoor.

Let's meet there.
 

Baekhyun read it with a smile.

He lifted his face and found Tae looking at him with a smile too.

11.17am, B:

Arrasso!!

But why do you have to text me since we are just sitting next to each other??

11.18am, TY:

 Don't you know you aren't suppose to chat in a movie theatre??

*merong face*

The smile on his face just grew bigger and bigger.

 

| After the movie |

Baek left earlier and thus was waiting at the backdoor.

Shortly, he felt a pat on his shoulder. 

It's her.

Finally, he can take a good look at her under the sunlight.
 

Taeyeon: How was the movie?

Baekhyun: The movie? (scratched his head) It was okay.

Taeyeon: You are lying. Look at your face. Is it that boring to watch a movie with me?

Baekhyun: Of course not! It's just that I didn't focus much on the movie.

Taeyeon: (tilt her head) Why?

Baekhyun: (smirks at her) 
 

Taeyeon: What?

Baekhyun: It was very distracting when you were munching on your popcorns. So I couldn't focus. (laughs)

Taeyeon: Wae!!! (hit his arm and laugh)

Baekhyun: (avoiding her hits) I'm kidding. It was nice.

Taeyeon: Jinjja??

Baekhyun: Deh. Noona, so this is the gift? A movie with you?

Taeyeon: (smile) Hmmm...part of the gift.
 

Baekhyun: Part of the gift?

Taeyeon: Do you know the way to Yongin Everland?

Baekhyun: Y-Yeah, I went there a few times.

Taeyeon: Okay, then you drive!

Baekhyun: What? We are going there??

Taeyeon: Why? Too far for you?

Baekhyun: (shook his head with a smile)

Taeyeon: Let's go then! (smiles)

Baekhyun nodded and turned to where he parked his car.

Taeyeon: Wait, where are you going?

Baekhyun: Get my car.

Taeyeon:  Do you want us to get caught and appear on the news? Noona is busy enough with recent articles, I don't need more. (laughs)

Baekhyun: ... wae? (surprised)

Taeyeon: Our cars will attract attention. So I rented a car for today. This way! (leads the way)

Baekhyun: ... you rented a car...?? 

Taeyeon: Quick! Get going! (turned around and hurried Baek who is still standing at the spot, overwhelmed with surprises.)

And so they embarked a two hours drive to Everland Theme Park.

The reason why Taeyeon chose Everland over the more popular Lotte World is to avoid attention. Everland is further away from Seoul City, and usually only tourists visit there during weekdays. So it's a safer bet.

Along the way, the two main vocalists just sang their heart out on whatever song is playing on the radio. They are amazed by each other's wide and common knowledge of songs range-ing from the oldies, the classic kpop to the latest hits.

Reaching Everland...

Taeyeon: You really know the way very well.

Baekhyun: I have been here several times during high school.

Taeyeon: I see. You must have brought all your girlfriends here for dates right? (smiles)

Baekhyun: (smirks) Well, I was popular back in high school.

Taeyeon: (doubted look) Really??
 

Baekhyun: With the boys of course! (laughs) I remember we came here often because we want to get to know girls. This place is further away from city, so we won't get caught by parents or teachers. But after a few trips, we found we got the wrong strategy.

Taeyeon: (laugh) Why? You guys didn't get any girls??

Baekhyun: Look at this place. It's either tourists (and our english ), or dating couples. How do we get girls here?!

Taeyeon: (laugh hysterically) You were such a loser!

Baekhyun: Deh, I was. (smirk shyly). But it was fun back then. Since debut, I never came here. I never thought I will ever have a chance to come here again during my private times like this.

Taeyeon: But now you are here. Let's forget about who we are, and just have fun!!
 

Both Baek and Tae enjoyed thrill rides.

They tried almost every rides in the theme park. Thanks to the Summer weather, there isn't much crowd. No long queues for the rides and they are able to let their guards down abit (well, they still need to guard the Everland staffs though).

They boarded the safari bus which brings them into the safari to watch tigers, lions and bears. They were sitting at the back seats to avoid attention. In fact, there is only a small group of Indian tourists and a Chinese couple other than them. So they were pretty loosen up.
 

Taeyeon: Baekhyun-ah

Baekhyun: Hmm?

Taeyeon: Let's take a picture.

Baek nodded with a smile and took out his cellphone, getting ready to take the picture.

Baekhyun: You want it with the bears or tigers?
 

Taeyeon: ..... 

Baekhyun: Hmm?

Taeyeon: With you of course! I mean the both of us. Let's take a picture.

Baekhyun: (lifted his head in surprise)

Taeyeon: Come here!

Taeyeon gestured him to sit closer so they can take a self-selca. Baek was surprised. He always knew Taeyeon avoids taking selca privately with males to prevent unwanted scandals. Unless she is really close and trusted that person. But now she initiated a selca with him...

Taeyeon: Baekhyun??

Baekhyun: (recovered from his thoughts) Deh!

As per instructed, Baekhyun carefully moved closer. Their heads literally rest against each other as they leaned close for the selca. Baekhyun can feel his heart skipped a few beats when their body touched. Apparently, Taeyeon was oblivious how red his face has turned as he blushed.

Taeyeon: Let's do a derpy one. No handsome and pretty face ya!! (laughs) Ready??

They took it.

After 3 tries, they finally got one which Taeyeon approved.

Baekhyun was about to send it to her, but she rejected.

Taeyeon: I don't want it! It's so ugly!! You keep it for yourself. (laughs)

Baekhyun: But it's noona who suggested to take it. (laughs)

Taeyeon:  It was meant as a gift for you!

Baekhyun: ...wae??

Taeyeon: So whenever you feel unhappy, you can look at it and laugh. (smile naughtily)

Baekhyun: (smirks happily as he looked at the silly picture they took)

Taeyeon:  But don't ever show this ugly pic to other people, or I will kill you!! Arrasso?? (laughs)

Baekhyun:  Arrasso.... but I actually think we look great in it!! (laughs)
 

The two just can't stop laughing throughout the day in Everland ....
