He looks around him, astonished. His eyes explore everything they can see. It’s so much bigger than it has looked in television. And it’s so much more beautiful. All those lights and colors... The only thing making him nervous is a crowd of people surrounding him. But Yesung’s hand holding his own one calms him down. He can hear sounds of laugh and screaming. Everybody is having fun. A tiny smile appears on Wookie’s lips.

Yesung’s eyes search the crowd, trying to find Siwon and Heechul. But it’s not easy in that number of people. Moreover he is still watching Wookie out of corner of his eye. He is decided to leave in the moment he would see just a little sign of the fear. But Wookie doesn’t look scared. His curious eyes are full of enthusiastic sparkles, looking all around. And Yesung is sure that after a few minutes Wookie’s mouth will be as wide open as his eyes. Still, he intentionally avoids all overcrowded places, holding tightly Wookie’s hand.

It takes a few minutes before they finally see a blond head in the crowd, shining among the people as a light bulb. In another moment Yesung can see Siwon’s face. It’s an advantage of his height. Yesung grins. He waves until Siwon notices him. Then he pulls Wookie out of the crowd, waiting for the couple.

“Sungie!” Heechul squeaks happily, breaking out of Siwon’s arms and grabbing Yesung in a hug. He places smacking kisses on both his cheeks, smiling brightly.

“I’m glad to see you again.”

“Me too, Heechul,” Yesung smiles friendly. Heechul’s eyes suddenly find the tiny boy next to Yesung. Ryeowook is staring at him as he would see a ghost. Heechul just smiles, leaning over the boy, but Ryeowook moves backwards, scared. As Heechul wouldn’t notice it, he is still looking at the boy, simpering.

“So, you’re Wookie, aren’t you, nipper?”

“Heechul,” Siwon admonishes him strictly. He told him he mustn’t frighten Wookie! And what is that blockhead doing?! He sighs. How could he even think Heechul would obey him? He looks apologetically at Yesung, but he just shakes his head, smiling. He just presses Wookie’s hand a bit tighter.

“Geez, there’s no need to be scared,” Heechul grins, holding out his hand.

Wookie watches his face which astonishes him. He has never seen more beautiful person. Blond hair lying on Heechul’s shoulders, his wild eyes shining and his soft features... He looks like a girl. Or angel. And he doesn’t look dangerous at all. Plus, Yesung told him he may be a bit...friendly. He smiles shyly, slowly holding out his hand as well. A second later Heechul pulls him closer, giving him a noisy kiss on his cheek as he did to Yesung. It is so fast that he can’t even get scared. Yesung’s hand is still assuring him it is alright. So when he looks at Yesung, he just smiles. And Yesung smiles back.

“Can you see that red roof between those trees?” Yesung points at something beneath them. Ryeowook leans forward, looking around. It takes a few moments before he finds the place Yesung is talking about – that little red spot. It is almost invisible.

“Yes, I can,” he smiles.

“It’s our house,” Yesung says, watching Wookie’s surprised face with amusement.

“Really?” he asks incredulously. It looks so small. Yesung nods, exploring the world below. He doesn’t even remember the last time he went to some fair. It was so long time ago... He went there with his little Jinyoung. He still remembers his enthusiastic expression when they sat on the Ferris wheel and he showed him their house. He was so angry when he couldn’t find it and then his eyes shined when he finally did. Wookie has the same eyes. There are the same sparkles. They are full of joy of something new. Everything he sees makes him happy. That’s a great relief. Yesung was worried about his reactions after everything he went through. But he is alright. And it makes Yesung smile. Wookie deserves a piece of the happiness. He deserves it more than anyone else.

It takes ten minutes before they stand on the ground again.

“Have you liked it?” Yesung asks Wookie and the boy just smiles and nods.

“So, where do you want to go now?” he smiles back. Wookie looks around, looking for another target... But then, his eyes stop on the same place where they are.

“I... Could we... Could we go there again?” he asks shyly, looking at the slowly rotating Ferris wheel. He cannot help himself. He has liked the view so much. Everything was so small and distant as he could hide it in his hand.

“Hey!” Heechul’s voice shouts to them. They both turn to see cheerful Heechul running to them, dragging his lover with him. Siwon’s face slowly changes whole spectrum of the green color.  

“You must try it too! It was just awesome!” The flames burning in Heechul’s eyes are searing all around. On the other hand Siwon really doesn’t share his enthusiasm.

“Never,” he whispers. “I will never go there again,” he growls, looking back at nearby roller coaster. Just that look makes him feel sick again.

“I think it’s not a good idea. I love my stomach, you know?” Yesung laughs. Siwon’s expression tells him enough – he really doesn’t have to try everything.

“What a pity,” Heechul states, but he doesn’t look offended. His eyes are just searching other attractions, hesitating what will be another victim. He wants to go everywhere. The madder, the better.

“Heechul, please, give me a break. Or let me sit somewhere under the tree and rest in peace,” Siwon begs desperately. He started to regret coming here after a first half-hour. Why has he ever fallen in love with such a mad?! And how is it possible he could handle that for four years? When they first met, Chul looked so innocent and lost. He remembers the day he saw him for the first time. He was scared and helpless. Siwon really didn’t know what a maniac he is. And he didn’t know he would fall in love with him. But it happened. And he has never regretted. And he knows he never will. Just one look to Heechul’s deep eyes and he knows he is everything he needs.

“Mhm, okay. We can sit somewhere for a while. And then we must try the pirate ship!”

Siwon whines. Why, God, why?!

“We can join them and then come back here, what do you think? In fact, the view is much more gorgeous in the night,” Yesung suggests and Wookie agrees.

“And what about some snack?” he turns to Siwon. In a few seconds Siwon gets greener than the grass all around.

“Are you kidding?!”

“I have told you the view is much more gorgeous in the night,” Yesung smiles, hugging Wookie’s waist and pressing him to his chest. He covers his shoulders with the jacket and places a soft kiss to his hair. It’s late and it’s getting cold. Wookie cuddles up to his body, which is heating with pleasant warm, and he leans his head against Yesung’s shoulder. He can still see that breathtaking view, which he saw when they were up. There was darkness everywhere and in it, there were thousands of sparkling spots... He thought they are somewhere in the universe, flying with the stars.

“You look tired. Come on, we will find Heechul and Siwon and then, we will go home.”

Ryeowook doesn’t object anything, his eyes are slowly closing. He had to wake up early in the morning because of the trial and then he was here all the day. It was amazing but tiring. Yesung pushes him somewhere, but he is not interested in finding out where.

“Siwon,” Yesung says when he finally finds them. Siwon is just trying to hit the target and win some smudged stuffed animal for Heechul. On the other hand, Heechul sits on the nearby bench, very intently watching Siwon’s . At the moment he hears Yesung, his eyes find the couple.

“Oh, you’re back! Come on, look, Siwon is winning a kitty for me!” Heechul points at enormous stuffed cat and he is probably determined to steal it if Siwon doesn’t win it.

“What about you? Would you like something too?” Yesung asks with a smile, when he sees Wookie’s curious eyes scanning that mound of toys. Ryeowook looks at Yesung, and then he looks back at the toys again. And then back at Yesung. He just shakes his head.

“I already have one,” he smiles when he imagines his beloved teddy bear. He doesn’t want anything else. His bear means so much to him...because it’s from Yesung. None of the others would be better or nicer.

“Really?” Yesung assures. The boy nods with a smile.

“YES! I love you, Wonnie!” Heechul yells, hugging the big cat, laughing happily as a small kid.

“I know,” Siwon answers tiredly. Yesung just laughs. Siwon looks as he would have just taken part in the marathon.

“Anyway, we have to go. It’s late and Wookie is tired,” Yesung says.

“Of course. I hope to see you again, Wookie. Goodnight,” Siwon smiles.

All four of them say goodbye, heading slowly home. Wookie can hardly walk, the fatigue is growing is his body with every step. He is almost falling asleep. He can feel Yesung’s arms, wrapping his waist and in another moment he finds himself in the air. He opens his eyes slightly to see Yesung’s soft look.

“Just sleep.”

He feels a tender kiss on his forehead before everything fades away in Yesung’s arms.
