Prang!

There’s a broken thing sound from the outside of Bom’s room. She just get dressed for school today.

“And do you think you’re a good wife? What about your daughter? You two are just annoying!” aid her dad’s.

A pang hit her heart. Another fight. Another yelling.

“My daughter? She’s your daughter, too!”

“This house is hell! I can’t live in here anymore!”

“So you’re gonna live with that woman? Please think about it. She just want your money!”

“But she can give me something that you can’t!”

Bom closed her ears, she doesn’t want to hear it. She doesn’t want to face it. She hate it. She needs to pretend she doesn’t hear it. Everytime they stop arguing and her dad leave, she waits for a couple minutes to go out from her room, and see her mom pretends like there’s nothing happened, it hurts her. She just hug her.

It’s about time to go to school. But her parents still arguing outside.

Her tears keeps falling. She shrinks her body in the corner of the bed. She needs to get out, but she can’t. She’s too afraid too face the situation out there.

And this time she only have one thought. She calls Yunho.

Her hand is shaking. She tried to search Yunho’s number and called him.

He picks up in second call.

“Bom?” she just silent.

Yunho heard a low crying voice.

“Bom? Are you okay? Hello..”

“Yun.. Yunho..” her voice is shaking.

“Can you pick me at home? I can’t get out from my room. Please..” she stammered.

Her tears flows really hard.

“What happened? I’ll be there in 5 okay?”

Luckily Yunho isn’t about to leave yet. He rushes to Bom’s right away. He worried.

The elevator seems really slow. When it reached the 12th floor he rushes go to Bom’s and ring the bell. It only take a second before Mrs. Park opens the door.

“Oh, Yunho?”

“Yes, Mrs. Park, I came to pick Bom to schoo..”

Before he finished his words Bom quickly wears her shoes and get out from the apartment. Yunho bows politely then go after Bom.

Her face and hair are a mess. She keeps looking on the floor while waiting for the elevator. Yunho reminds silent, wait until Bom speak first.

They waiting for the bus to take them to school. After ten minutes the bus arrived, and it’s pretty fully loaded. Bom takes a place near the exit door, Yunho just followed her.

He keeps looking at Bom. He then held Bom’s left hand, intertwine his fingers with hers. Bom is shocked with the sudden skinship. But she thinks she’s kinda need it. She holds his hand stronger like she never wants to let it go.

It’s after school.

Bom needs to collect homework books from her classmate and brought it to the teacher’s room. The class already empty when she gets back, picking up her bag. Dami is absent because of the severe flu. But she found Yunho’s waiting for her when she reaches the school gate.

“Hey..” Yunho gave his best smile.

“Wanna grab some ice cream and talk maybe?”

Bom is smiling. He really knows how to bribe Bom.

“I think they’re gonna file the divorce paper, soon..” Bom said while scooping her choco-mint ice cream.

“I’m sorry, Bom..”

“Why? You don’t have, too..”

“I’m here. You know if you need someone to crash. I’m kinda expert in it.”

Refered to his parents’ divorce.

“Hey, yeah.. We’re in the same club now! Hahaha..”

“See, there’s a good side in everything..”

“Damn it. You make it so easy to handle.”

“Just don’t hold your self. If you need to scream it out..”
