Fourth Kiss: Perfect As You Are...

~*~Your P.O.V. ~*~

I put my make-up on and curled the ends of my hair. I put on the new dress I bought, getting ready for the awarding ceremony Changmin-oppa and the rest of DBSK will be attending. I made sure that I looked descent enough for the important occasion.  I wouldn’t like it if Changmin-oppa gets embarrassed because he brought an indecent   date to the awarding ceremony. Of course, being Changmin-oppa’s girlfriend, I want to look good for him and I want to make sure that I’m worthy enough to be his girl. Being the simple girl that I am, it is hard for me, but when you have a handsome and talented boyfriend who’s  chased by girls all the time, it became an eye-opener for me to step out of my little bubble and  bring out the beautiful woman inside the cute innocent little girl that I am. (If there really is a beautiful or y… err… woman inside me…) It was hard especially when all the cassies out there are watching your every move. Being ‘their’beloved Changmin-oppa’s girlfriend, I have to make sure that I please him and of course, I have to make sure I was pleasing enough for them…

Having a relationship with Dong Bang Shin Ki’s adorable, evil maknae was hard for me. They’d say I’m the luckiest woman in the world, and it is true, being Changmin’s girl was the best thing that ever happened to me, nothing could be more wonderful than to be loved by a sweet Shim Changmin, but of course, even if I trusted him, there are times that I’d feel week and doubt myself; times wherein I’d be insecure and feel inferior among my boyfriend's beautiful colleagues. Being the simple, non-showbiz girl that I am, it was inevitable to feel insecure among those beautiful talented girls from F(x) or SNSD that Changmin-oppa gets to work with…
 

~*~ Flashback~*~

“Look at them, such a perfect couple neh?” a girl squealed as she looked at her ipad and showed a picture to another girl beside her.

“ChangToria? So it’s real?!” The second girl asked. My ears shot up at what I just hear, I just couldn’t help but eavesdrop to their whole conversation.

“No, silly! Changmin-oppa has a girlfriend, remember? That non-showbiz girl that he doesn’t reveal to the public because he’s afraid that the Cassies might hunt her down…”

“I wish ChangToria was real… I mean come on, how can Changmin-oppa not like Victoria-unnie? -She’s so hot and y and she doesn’t look like a school girl…”

I looked at myself and sighed… Compared to Victoria, I really look like a school girl and she is so gorgeous, and if Changmin doesn’t love me enough… He might as well fall for her…

~*~End of Flashback~*~
 

“Ready, Chagiya? “ I heard a familiar voice from behind me; I turned around to see my handsome boyfriend flashing his adorable smile at me. I nodded my head at him and stood up from my seat.
He let me hold his hand as we exited the house and rode his car all the way to the venue of the awarding ceremony.

As we entered the venue, DBSK-oppas approached us to greet us.

“I see you brought our sister-in-law, Minnie…” Junsu said with his signature high-pitched, cheerful, dolphin voice.

“Hey there, Ri Ah… It’s nice to see you here.” Yoochun said politely and I smiled.

“It’s nice that Changmin-ah finally brought you here.” Yunho said with his signature smirk.

“It’s great to see you again.” Jaejoong said with a nice smile.

“It’s great to see you too, oppas…” I said shyly, feeling flattered at their cute remarks.

After that, DBSK accompanied me and Changmin-oppa to our seats. It wasn’t that long until SNSD and F(x) came to greet  us.

“Annyeong, RI-ah!!!” Yuri –unnie greeted me with a tight hug.

“We missed you! It’s been a while since Changmin-oppa brought you here again!”  Seohyun said as she gave me a hug.

“You should hang out with us some time, so that we won’t miss you too much, arasso?” Jessica-unnie said and I nodded like kid at her.

“Aigoo, Changmin-oppa is this girl friend?” Victoria came to our table with a smile. I couldn’t help but feel mesmerized by her beauty and at the same time, insecure….

“Yeah, why?” Changmin-oppa said in his usual cool manner as he wrapped his arms around my waist.

“She’s so beautiful! Aigoo~ you guys make a good couple!” She said sweetly and I smiled at her compliment. “Ri Ah, right? Victoria by the way… hope we’ll be good friends. “

We both shook hands. Victoria was a very beautiful girl, with a great personality too. She was humble and sweet, but still I couldn’t help but still feel jealous of her.

I sat down and kept quiet as Changmin and Victoria talked to each other. I felt a little sting at my chest when I heard them laughing together. They seem to be really close and they seem to have a lot of fun together. It just made me feel more insecure. Tears were threatening to fall from my  eyes as I felt the jealousy  take over me.

Victoria’s cute laugh together with Changmin’s sounded like beautiful music to my ears and it just can’t help but get me jealous.

I tried to put on a smile. Changmin and Dbsk oppa’s were nominated for almost all the categories. It’s their big night I should not ruin the wonderful night. I clapped for them as the hosts announced their names, for they have won an award.  I tried to smile for DBSK, but I wasn’t feeling good. When the whole ceremony ended, Changmin-oppa immediately took me home.

I went inside his car and stared outside the window as he drove.

“Yah… Chagi…” He said in a sweet manner, breaking the silence between us.  He seemed to sense my unusual self.

“Dae?” I simply asked, avoiding his gaze.

“You seem to be quiet today, is there something wrong?” He asked.

“I’m not feeling well.”  I lied. It was wrong but I didn’t want to admit to him that I’m jealous of Victoria. It just felt embarrassing.

“Are you sure you don’t want to talk about it, baby?” He asked. “You know you can tell oppa everything…”

“I can’t…” I said.

“And why is that?” he asked .

“It’s embarrassing…” I said as I hid my face behind my palms. “You’ll think I’m stupid and you’ll laugh at me…”

“Come on….  You know  I love you no matter what…”

“No, I’m not telling!” I remained strong and stubborn, until we reached my house. I swiftly got out of the car.

“Just forget about it… I just need to sleep that’s all.”  I told him as I pushed the keys in the door knobs hole. I was about to enter when he grabbed my arm and looked me in the eyes.

“Yah, wait…” He said as he tightened his grip on my arm.
“I told you to forget about it, Shim Changmin…” I answered coldly and that was when he pushed me inside my own house and pinned me to the nearest wall.

“Look, you’re my problem, okay? I’m not leaving unless you tell me what’s wrong, arasso?!” He said as he looked at me with those serious brown orbs.

Tears fell from my eyes, as I knew I couldn’t hide it from him anymore…

“I’m jealous of Victoria….” I sobbed.  “She’s so beautiful and talented and I’m just a plain girl…  I don’t deserve to be loved by a wonderful person like you…”

“Jealous of Victoria? Baby… come one… You know you don’t have to be….” He said as he wiped my tears with his thumb.

“How couldn’t I be?  She’s so perfect…” I said.

“She doesn’t compare to how wonderful you are to me. Ri Ah… You don’t have to feel insecure, just because she’s beautiful…  You’re perfect just as you are and I’m lucky to be loved by a girl like you…” He said and with that he pressed his soft lips unto mine… sealing it with a sweet passionate kiss in which it didn’t take long for me to give in to. I wrapped my arms around his neck as his arms found their way to my waist, deepening our kiss in the process…

“I love you, Ri Ah… Remember that…” He said after he pulled away.

“I love you too… Changmin-oppa…” I said as I pulled him for a tight hug.

I smiled to myself.

“You’re perfect as You are…”  His words rang in my ears. 

‘I’ll remember that, Changmin-oppa… From now on… I’ll never be insecure… You love me for who I am and that’s all that matters.’
 

A.N. ANNYEONG! Sorry for the uber late update… I was busy with school, but don’t worry because I’ll be updating regularly because I’m on Christmas Break!
