Dimple Girl
Romantic Street
Hunting for books that are rare to find was one of the es of Sunny. While browsing through the Historical Section of the library, she caught a rare-looking book covered with dusts.
“There’s no such place. Are you kidding me?”
“But it’s true! Here, read this!”
“Romantic Street,” Jessica raised her eyebrow. “is a magical place that appears to be normal in the eyes of passers-by; It has no specific address; known to be a part of the other dimension.”
She skimmed the whole paragraph, reading only the ones that caught her attention. “Some people have claimed that it truly exists on Earth.”
She scoffed, “What is this, some kind of a Neverland?”
“Just read!” Sunny pouted in annoyance.
“But some believe that it is non-existent and just a mere product of one’s imagination,” she continued. “Well that, I agree.”
“Continue!” Sunny was eager to hear the next lines.
“Romantic street is a place where in two people are bound to fall in love. And when the magic words are finally uttered by both parties, only then will they go back to reality.”
Jessica paused and looked at her friend. “Like some sort of a trap?”
“More like a dream!” exclaimed Sunny. The other students in the library glared at the two friends. “Sorry?” She apologized by bowing to each one of them. She then turned to Jessica. “It’s interesting, isn’t it?”
Jessica nodded half-heartedly and continued reading.
“But the moment they return to reality, only one remembers and the other one forgets about everything that happened.” She huffed, “Just how harsh can this be?”
“I know, right?”
Jessica closed the book and glanced at the cover. “Well, even the name of the author can’t be trusted.”
She then showed it to her friend.
“KIM HYOYEON? She’s my favorite author! Don’t mock her!” Sunny protested. "But I didn't know that she wrote this one."
