He can listen to the sirens, the screams and wails, he can see the debris, the dust, the blood. He can feel the heat, the crippling leaves, the scorching sun - and still he doesn't know what to do. Jonghyun can't remember what he was really, what he was supposed to do, what he wasn't supposed to do - it all muddles up into a big piece of mist in his mid, blocking everything away.
He can remember the glint of hatred he sees in his own eyes - his own reflection, a monster, a demon. Jonghyun is a devil, a soul left to dry in hatred and malice, heart blackened, and selfish intentions tainting him.
He closes his eyes, heart churning, and in that moment, he feels numb.
He dissipates into ashes and blood.
