Jaejoong was pacing back and forth inside Saeyoon’s office. Nothing looked wrong, but the whole placed smelled wrong.

“Yunho called-” Changmin froze as he stepped in the place.

“Can you smell it?” Jae looked at him.

“I know..this person.”

Jaejoong turned to him.

“He’s still alive?” Junsu appeared behind his friend.

“Who? Who are you talking about?” Jaejoong asked in frustration.

“Choi Sanghyun, he’s from another clan and he has a grudge against Yunho hyung.”

“He took Saeyoon.” Junsu picked up a strand of hair from the carpet.

“This is Saeyoon’s but then I can smell him here too.” He said, Jaejoong winced.

“We have to trace him!”

Minyoung closed her laptop, she was worried, even though her class had ended and she was graduating next week, she had no idea what to do yet.

And, something had happened to Saeyoon.

She went down to the kitchen and made herself a sandwich and stepped out of the house.

What she didn’t know was that just a few yards away from where she was walking, there were three wolves following her.

“We have to watch over her, she helped Kai.”

“She smells…like them.” The younger wolf spat. Kai, shook his large heard at him and kept his eye on Minyoung.

“Chanyeol hyung, she was the one who boldly stepped to you, right?”

The wolf with dark brown hair nodded. Then they froze, as they smelled something in the air, before anyone could react, Kai leaped in front of Minyoung.

“I found you alone.” Minyoung heard someone talk behind her.

She spun around and saw the man she had met at Saeyoon’s office.

“You…I saw..” She sputtered, the man smirked and stepped towards her.

Minyoung noticed the red stains on the side of his shirt, her eyes widened.

“They left you alone.” He mused as he tried to reach for her face, but it never happened, Sanghyun stepped back and hissed.

Minyoung gaped as the dog she had saved leapt in front of her and growled at Sanghyun.

“Fascinating, I didn’t know creatures like you still exist.”

Minyoung blinked.

Minyoung’s POV

Creatures?

It’s just an oversized dog.

I watched as Sanghyun backed away, I noticed the stains on his shirt.

Then it hit me.

Unnie’s bite marks.

Blood.

He’s one of them.

I stepped back, then I noticed two huge shadows behind me.

Narrator

Minyoung jumped as she saw the two animals behind her, she saw the other animal she had met a few days ago, but then there was a russet colored dog standing on her other side.

“You know them, Kim Minyoung?” Sanghyun called to her.

Her attention came back to Sanghyun. She had no idea what he would do, what can these three enormous dog do to a vampire with so much strength?

“Where did you take Saeyoon unnie?” She asked, stepping beside Kai.

Kai blinked and looked at her, but then he raised his leg and pushed Minyoung back.

“These creatures care for you, fascinating indeed.”

“If you’re not telling me where she is, you might as well leave.”

“You’re kidding me, right?”

Minyoung glared at the other vampire, but then she saw it.

There was fear in his eyes.

She glanced at the three dogs behind her.

“I’m surrounded by your friends.” He said with a flourish of his hand.

“Minyoung!”

Her head snapped up, from afar she saw her older brother, Changmin, Junsu and Yunho all looking at her, all of them were standing as if they were ready to pounce but something was stopping them.

Then she noticed that they were looking elsewhere.

Minyoung turned to the right and gasped.

There had to be at least ten large dogs behind her, and they were all looking at Sanghyun with such intensity that it frightened her.

“More siblings?” She gazed up at the black furred one beside her. That was when Sanghyun tried to reach for her arm.

Minyoung felt someone bite onto the hood of her coat and then she was tossed in the air, she screamed as she landed on something soft and firm. It was another one of the huge dogs, this time it was sandy colored.

The dog turned his head towards her for a fleeting moment, then he grimaced. Or smiled.

Minyoung held on to its fur as it ran.
