*three months earlier* 

No one's POV: 

As Tang Luo-Yi stepped into her new school she took a deep breath in 'New school, new start' she thought to herself as she walked through to the reception and people looked at the new girl that had just walked in. 
"Can I help you?" asked the receptionist as she looked up 
"I'm Tang Luo-Yi, I'm starting here today" replied Luo-Yi as the receptionist studied her for a moment before handing her the timetable, as she looked at the first lesson of the day... it was maths "Great" Luo-Yi muttered to herself as she turned around and began to walk away before someone called her. 
"Miss Tang the headmaster would like to see you" called the receptionist as the hall went quiet and the students watched her walk away. 

"Well Luo-Yi I must say I'm surprised to see you back in China" said the headmaster as Luo-Yi sat across from her Uncle 
"My grandparents are taking care of me so I should be fine" she replied as her Uncle stared at her for a moment before taking her arm and rolling up her cardigan sleeve 
"Your arm seems to be healing" he said as Luo-Yi slipped her arm away and pulled her sleeve down "Thanks to Auntie in England" she replied as she rubbed her arm nervously and her Uncle got up and opened the door 
"What lesson do you have first?" he asked "Maths" replied Luo-Yi as her Uncle walked her to her class early to avoid the crowd and watched her sit down before walking away. 

As Luhan entered his first class of the day he looked over to his seat at the back and saw that someone was sat in the seat next to his which was unusual because everyone else in his class was sat at the front. As he went and took his seat the girl just stared ahead to the front and he was about to talk to her but the teacher had entered the room by that point. Halfwaythrough the class everyone was thinking the same thing; WHY IS MATHS SO CONFUSING? as the teacher wrote a sum on the board and looked for someone to come up and solve it 
"Lets see, Tang Luo-Yi please come up and solve this" said the teacher as the girl next to Luhan slowly got up and made her way to the front and everyone watched her 
'So she has a name' Luhan thought as Luo-Yi studied the board for a moment before writing down her answer and moving away so the teacher could see 
"Correct" said the teacher as Luo-Yi bowed and went back to her seat.

"Not bad new girl" Luhan whispered to her as she sat back in her seat 
"Thank you random guy" she whispered back as Luhan smirked 'She talks to' 

Luo-Yi's POV: 

FINALLY it's time to eat! I have no idea how I got through my first few lessons... but I did... and now I'm hungry... "Want me to buy lunch for you?" Uncle asks as he stands in line next to me and I shake my head 
"Grandfather gave me money to use" I reply as he nods and I pay for my lunch and go to look for somewhere to sit. As I look around I realise that this place is packed... I haven't made a single friend and I'll probably be eating lunch alone... brilliant... 

"LUO-YI" I hear someone shout and as I turn around I see a familiar someone running towards me with their arms outstretched... I am so going to drop my lunch when they run into me...
