“All of the sudden, you came out there, saving the world.”

Walking through what seemed a mammoth garden, Taemin and Sulli seemed to be engaged in their talk. His whole world collapsed when the doctor said the worse condition of YoonA—she’s not eating these past few days. Since her resistance to virus is so low, she easily became anorexic.

But then a sudden voice just appeared, as if fate has brought her in time, it was Sulli. In the time of thinking of donating blood to YoonA, she appeared.

“I’m only doing this to you,” she remarked. “But I have no intention of making YoonA’s illness at worst too.”

“But how? How did you find out?”

“Everyone knows in the campus.” She then looked at him. “You told us, right?”

Taemin shook his head. “I… I didn’t, did I?”

“You probably were panicked that time to even remember what you’ve said,” she chuckled. “That’s why I knew about it. We were all planning to go here in the hospital, but I ended up going myself.”

“I… I can’t even thank you properly,” he admitted, shifting the topic. “I’m really sorry. I even doubt you just a while ago.”

The cute girl smiled at him. “It’s okay, I understand. It’s not your fault,” she said.

“When are you going to…” Taemin gestured at Sulli for he can’t even say the words ‘donate blood’.

“Tomorrow,” she replied wittily. “Hey, I have something to say to you.”

“What is it?”

She pursed her lips, knowing she should not say this to him. But he deserves to know everything. “YoonA-ssi… She went to me last time. She paid a visit to our home actually, for just a short of time.”

Taemin looked bedazzled. Sulli continued, “She actually wanted to talk to me that time. She… She wanted me to take care of you. But by that time, I didn’t even know her real condition.”

“She—”

“That’s why I’m doing this to you, Taemin,” Sulli explained, with tears in her eyes. “She told me to take care of you. And I’m doing this solely to you. I know if I do this, it will make you happy. And I fulfilled my promise to YoonA of taking care of you.”

“I…” Taemin was out of words.

“In short words,” Sulli chuckled, “I’m giving up on you because I know how much you love YoonA.”

“I…” His smile was worthless, yet pain still lingered with it. “I don’t know how to thank you enough…”

Sulli smiled back. “Just take care of YoonA-ssi after everything.”

“I never imagined her doing all of these,” remarked Kibum—whose hands were entwined with Sooyoung’s. After Taemin told them about Sulli—her blood transfer will be on the next day—, everyone seemed to be so shocked.

Taemin replied with a chuckle, “I know, hyung. I mean, she’s definitely a girl of simplicity, but she gave up her own needs for YoonA.”

“YoonA never hurt her,” Yuri said with a smile. “That’s why Sulli did these.”

“And she knew if she continued everything, she’ll just suffer more,” Minho added. “Sacrifice over love.”

“How can I repay her?”

Everyone looked at him with clueless face. “We certainly don’t know, Taemin,” Onew said. “But like she said, just take care of YoonA.”

“But it’s like I’m giving her—”

Taeyeon interrupted, “I know Choi Sulli. She’ll be happy if you’re happy.”

Tomorrow came, and the most nervous of all is Taemin. Pacing back and forth just like when he sent her to the hospital, his droplets of sweat just can’t stop. Everyone can’t keep him in comfort for they are so nervous too.

Sulli was sitting beside Kibum; her eyes were low as results of the blood donation. It was her first time, and she never even felt pain like that before.

“We really appreciate it, Sulli,” remarked the guy beside her. Kibum just tried to make Sulli feel a lot better.

The group was just waiting for the final results—if the blood will correct everything, and make YoonA feel a lot better. Her cancer’s not getting worse, but she needs strength for treatments and, most especially, chemotherapy. She needed help from Sulli for her to gain blood, and start to take chemotherapy.

Finally, the doctor appeared in front of them after hours of waiting. He, with an assuring smile on his face, finally said, “The transfer of blood was successful. She’s resting now; she needs to get a rest for tomorrow’s chemotherapy.”

“She will undergo…” Taemin stopped his self. YoonA was too ignorant back then from treatments, but now, she will start it tomorrow.

“Yes,” the doctor replied while nodding, “the family already agreed. If she starts chemotherapy early, her illness might die early too. Let’s just keep praying for her.”

The day has come to an end, but Taemin was still in the hospital guarding over YoonA. He was so sleepy, but then again YoonA came first. His eyes were fixed on her beautiful face, always wondering if she will open her deer eyes.

When he felt his own eyes give up due to sleepless nights, he settled his head comfortably on the soft mattress. He should just fall asleep for minutes, whereas hours have passed and he’s still sleeping.

The deer eyes he has been waiting finally opened, and the gaze of that pair of eyes was all onto him. Her soft hands caressed his soft, sleeping face. The way she touched his beautiful face made him flinch a little. When she noticed he’s still asleep, she tried to get up. Fortunately, she did it by herself. She never felt that stronger after she knew about her illness.

He once again flinched, but this time he was awake. His brown orbs finally caught her cheerful, doe-like eyes. Happiness finally filled his eyes and smile. “YoonA…”

“You were sleeping silently, so I didn’t—”

His hands made their way to hers, entwining them. “How are you feeling now?”

“I feel so good,” she said. “Doctor never said the name of the donor, so I can’t thank him since.”

“He didn’t tell you?” He then smiled when he said “Choi Sulli”.

YoonA’s eyes grew bigger. Even before she can speak, Taemin said, “She volunteered. Then after that, we talked. And she told me everything. Why YoonA? Why did you do that?”

“I…” She tried to find words that’ll express everything. “For your own sake, I asked her. I mean, if… what if I’m dead, no one will—”

Before she can even finish, his soft lips caught hers in an instant—blocking words of negativity from her own mouth. His soft lips captured those words, extremely making YoonA clueless again. “Everything will be alright now,” Taemin said. “You will be undergoing several treatments.”

“I… But,” she said, hesitating a bit. “What if…”

“There’s no need to look beyond. Look now, at the present, and look at me. Only me.”

Author's notes: Just a short update, but a very special one because it assures a happy TaemYoon ending! Here you see how much Sulli loves Taemin that she sacrificed her feelings just for him. The best thing is that Sulli accepted it.

TaemYoon will have a happy ending, don't worry. Maybe just not-so happy like the other couples.

Btw, I'm in a dilemma. I don't keep my words that much. I want to finish this by the end of May, but I don't think I can do that. Well, maybe, if I can update everyday. And if everyone of you can read my update as soon as possible.

Well, this is it! The TaemYoon chapter. Next chapter will be big. Much longer than this one. :)
