Kris' POV

I set the remote down on the coffee table and craned my neck around to see if I could catch sight of ~~~ anywhere. She had left a few minutes ago to get something to drink but she has yet to return. I got up off the couch and looked around for ~~~, wondering where she had wandered off to so quickly. I finally found her settling at the kitchen nook, looking out the window with her hands and nose pressed against it as it snows outside. I smiled at the familiar sight. This was a sight that I've grown to love so much since we were kids. Winter has always been her favorite season and if it were her choice, she'd choose to play out in the snow all day. 

I walked towards her and placed a hand on her back before leaning down to kiss the top of her head. "What are you doing?" I questioned as I lovingly rubbed her back. 

She turned to face me with a hand placed on her large stomach, an action she's been doing a lot lately. "Oppa, can we go on a walk today?"

“Su- no.” I quickly stopped myself before I could agree to her request.

She frowned and stared up at me, “Why not?”

I plopped down beside her and set my hands on her stomach as well, “The streets are slippery out there, you might slip and fall. I'm not taking any chances of you or the babies getting hurt.”

"But I really want to go for a walk." She told. "Please."

"No, I can't allow it." I firmly objected.  

"Please." ~~~ repeated.  

I looked down to meet her eyes and regretted it immediately. “~~~-ah, don't give me that look. You know I succumb to all your wishes when you do that.” She widened her already large eyes and formed her lips into that cute adorable pout that I just wanted to smother my lips ato- Get back to your senses Kris! It's for her safety remember?

“Please Krissy, just a walk around the block will do.” She pleaded and clung onto my arm. 

“I....I can't.” I forced myself to tear my gaze away from her face. Be strong Kris, be strong. “It's for your own good.”

“Pwetty pwease Kwissy?” ~~~ continued to plead, even burying her nose to my arm. Oh god, when did she even master the art of aegyo? I knew I shouldn't have let her hang out with Tao. She released my arm and adjusted herself so she was now kneeling on the seats. She wrapped her arms around my shoulders and leaned in to softly rub her nose against my cheek. “I really, really want to go on a walk oppa. It'll make me really happy.” I clenched my jaws and shut my eyes tightly. With how close she was to me, every single word she spoked cause for her lips to brush against my skin, making me melt quicker than butter.  

“Sweetie, please don't do this to me.” I begged, feeling myself crumbling into pieces from her pleas. She's way too cute for her own good. “I can't take it.”

“Please Krissy oppa.” She repeated, giving me a sweet kiss on my cheek. And just like that, I felt all of my resolve shattering into nothing. She just had to use Krissy oppa on me.

I groaned and rubbed my face with my hands before running them through my hair, “Fine.” I swear I'm not weak. I could have said no if I wanted to, I promise. Its just that you shouldn't say no to a pregnant woman right? (Right Kris, right.)

"Thank you!" ~~~ exclaimed in joy, bringing her face around to kiss my lips. 

“You always win, it's unfair.” I commented. I swept her up into my arms and carried her away. Even with her recent weight gain, she was still relatively light to me. “Let's get you all bundled up for the cold weather.”

After getting dressed warmly, we carefully walked back downstairs, me guiding ~~~ since she had so many layers of clothing on that it was pretty hard for her to move. We were now at the front of the door and I was helping ~~~ put on her snow boots. As soon as I finished she bolted to the front door. 

"Sweetie wait!" I worriedly called after her, trying to put on my own shoes as fast as possible. I immediately chased after her once I got my shoes on. "Be careful!" I ordered when she was waddling down the pathway that lead to the streets. I rushed to lock our front doors so I could catch up with her. 

"Yah, I told you to be careful." I scold when I caught her just in time before her body could collide with the ground. She had just stepped on a patch of ice and nearly hurt herself. I was not going to risk another chance. "We're going back in." I demanded and pulled her back to our house. 

"No!" ~~~ protested and pulled me back. "I promise I'll be careful."

I shook my head, "I think it's better if we go back inside, you just nearly slipped. What if you fall and you and the babies get hurt?"

"I'll be f- Ah!"

I once again caught her body before it could hit the ground. I gazed down at her angrily, "Inside. Now."

"No, oppa." She scrambled out of my arms and stood up straight. "I'll be careful I swear. I just really wanna take a walk."

"I-"

"Please." She begged and clung onto my right arm. God, not this again. I stared at her jutted out, pink bottom lip and softened. She really knows how to get her way with me. How did Changmin hyung even deal with this? 

"No running ahead without me?" I asked, giving into her request. 

She sweetly beamed up at me and clasp her hands with mine, "I'll hold your hand the whole time."

I chuckled and affectionately patted her head, "Good." 

Even though she promised to hold my hand the whole time, I allowed for her to wander a head of me a bit. I knew how much she loved the snow so I wanted her to enjoy herself but I made sure to keep the distance between us small. I watched ~~~ as she skipped around the streets and kick the snow around before giggling to herself. A smile grew on my face and watched as she giddily pranced around. She's always been mature and tough but right now, it was like she was a kid all over again. The pregnancy has really brought out the innocent and childlike side to her.

We made one round trip around the block before arriving back home. 

"Can we play in the snow for a bit?" ~~~ blinked up at me and asked. 

I smiled and nodded my head, "Sure sweetie."

We walked onto the front lawn an separated ways to do our own things. ~~~ settled herself on the ground and began gathering snow into a pile. I wasn't sure what she was making but I stood a few feet away from her and started my work on building snowmen. 

"~~~-ah." I called for my wife once I was done with my project. "Come here so I can show you something." ~~~ crawled out of her....igloo. How in the world that she make that so quickly?...Anyway, she crawled out of her igloo and grabbed onto my outstretched hand. 

"I built our snow family." I said and pulled ~~~ to stand in front of me. "This one is me." I told while pointing to the tallest snowman out of the four I built. "While this is you." I pointed to another that only reached the chest level of snowman me. "Ah, I need to make yours a bit shorter." I pointed out. I took about four inches off of ~~~'s snowman, making her only up to my waist
