Kris' POV

“Done.” I proudly announced to myself. I had just finished placing the last cooked pancake onto a plate and placed it on the table. I looked at the array of breakfast food or lunch since it was 12:30, I had made for ~~~ and smiled in satisfaction. I must say, I have improved quite a bit in the cooking field since ~~~ had become pregnant. Before this I could barely cook eggs correctly but now, now I'm a champ. Speaking of ~~~, I wonder if she's awake yet? When I woke up an hour ago she was still off in dream land and I didn't want to wake her up so I left ~~~ up there alone. But I think it's about time she wakes up, we do after all need to go searching for furniture for the nursery room today.

I walked up stairs and entered mine and ~~~'s bedroom to see her still sleeping peacefully, her face buried underneath the covers. I carefully crawled onto bed and placed myself behind her. Propping my head up with one hand, I wound my other arm around her waist and pressed a soft kiss on her temple. “Sweetie, it's time to wake up.” I whispered into her ear. She groaned but other than that made no attempts of waking up. “Sweetie.” I softly called and nuzzled my nose into her hair, slowly rubbing her babies bump. “Wake up.”
“Go away.” ~~~ mumbled and bury her face deeper into the covers.  
I chuckled and pulled the covers down to reveal her face, “Wake up sweetie pie. It's pass noon, you should wake up now.”
“I don't want to.” She sleepily replied and covered her face with the blankets again.
Once more, I removed the covers to reveal her face and kissed her cheek, “Don't you want to go shopping for the nursery room today?”
“We'll go later.” ~~~ grumbled without opening her eyes.
“It is later sweetie.” I said and pushed the hair that covered her face away. “Come on sweetheart, I made you breakfast, you need to get up to eat it. You don't want my efforts to go to waste right?” I persuaded.
She hummed drowsily and finally opened her eyes to reveal her dark brown orbs, “Okay.”
I smiled in satisfaction and gave her a big kiss on her cheek before hopping off the bed, “Hurry and get ready. I'll be downstairs waiting.”

“Come join me sweetie.” I called out for ~~~ when I heard her footsteps entering the kitchen. “I made you foods filled with all the essential nutrients you need to consume daily.” I pulled her close and gently pushed her down into a chair. “Your diet of cookies and ice cream are over now that I'm back.”
“I can still have some if I wanted to though right?” She blinked up at me and asked.
I leaned down to kiss her forehead and rubbed her arms up and down, “Only once in awhile. You need to eat healthy so the babies are born healthy.”
“Healthy foods are so boring.” She mumbled and stabbed a strawberry with her fork before shoving it into .
“Eat carefully.” I reminded and plopped down beside her, eating my own plate of food so the two of us could hurry and go on the search to find things for the babies' nursery.

“Okay, so we've chosen the chairs for the nursery and dressers.” I mentally went through the shopping list and repeated aloud. “Now all we need are the cribs. Do you want white like all the other furniture?” I looked down at ~~~ and asked.
~~~ nodded her head and hooked her arm with mine, holding it against her as I was pushing the cart around the store, “I want the nursery room to be bright and open.”
“What else should we get?” I asked and stopped at the baby apparel section to admire the clothes.
~~~ hummed in thought, “We should probably get some things to decorate the room as well. Maybe some books and rugs?”
“Alright, we'll look at cribs first then look at some other things.” I set the turquoise, baby girl dress I had in my hands back onto the rack and turned to face ~~~. “Do you think they have twin boys and girls clothing sets?”
“They probably do somewhere. But if they don't, I'm sure your mom and mine will be more than willing to knit or sew something for us.” She said.
