Twins?!
Expecting
“Sweetie, what are you doing?” Kris was leaning against the door frame, already in his work clothes with his hands shoved in his pockets as he gazed at me with an amused smile.
“I don't look like I'm pregnant do I?” I asked Kris as I examined myself in the bathroom mirror. “I looked like it the other day but now I don't.” I mumbled, I lifted up my shirt and turned from side to side to spot any difference in my stomach.
“Honestly, you don't.” Kris answered and walked into the bathroom to stand behind me.
“I looked like I was showing that other day though.” I muttered and poked my stomach in different places.
“It's cause you were bloated.” He said and s his arms around my waist, pulling my shirt down as well. I looked up at him curiously. “I was worried when I noticed that you already had a pooch at two months so I searched online to find out the reason since I couldn't wait until we went to see the doctor.” He began. “If you didn't remember, we did eat quite a lot on our anniversary. With all good reasons of course, we couldn't possibly let your mom's cooking go to waste. But I even looked pregnant that day.” I chuckled at his words and lifted my shirt back up to probe my belly. Kris snatched my hands away and held them tight by my side. “Stop worrying about your appearance sweetie, you look fine.” I ignored him and continued to look at my stomach in worry. “I said stop worrying.” He scold. Kris lifted me up to sit on the sink and held my face tightly in his hands. “I find you to be absolutely beautiful and that's all that matters right? Is what I think of you?” He asked. I nodded my head and sent him a smile, thankful for how hard he was trying to make me feel better. He removed his hands from my face and gave me a quick peck on the lips. “I have to go to work now but when I see you at the doctor's appointment later, I better see a happy ~~~ and not a sad one alright?” Kris ordered rather than asked while lightly pinching my cheeks.
I laughed and pushed him away from me, “Go to work you loser.”
“Love you.” He cooed and bent down for another kiss.
“Love you too.” I mumbled against his lips. “...kinda.”
Kris playfully narrowed his eyes and flicked my forehead, “See you at three.”
“Bye.” I waved at him as he walked away. Once Kris left, I hopped off the sink and walked back into our bedroom. Slipping into the already made bed, I made myself comfortable and snuggled into Kris' pillow. “Time for a nap.” I yawned and closed my eyes.
