I bit my lip, trying to removed Kris' arm from around my waist, which was nearly impossible since the more I moved against him the tighter his grip became. He finally loosen his grip when I accidentally elbowed him in the stomach during my attempts of escaping. I took the chance to slip out of bed and to the bathroom. It was around 3 am but being pregnant really makes you visit the bathroom often. After I finished with my business, I quickly rinsed my hand with soap and water before exiting the bathroom to go back to bed. When I went out into the hallway, I saw a disoriented Kris standing outside the bedroom looking around wildly. His eyes finally landed on me after a couple seconds and he frowned.

“Where did you go?” He asked, stalking forward until he was in front of me, staring down at me with his intense eyes.

“Bathroom.” I answered. I curiously stared up at him, “What are you doing up?”

He narrowed his tired eyes, “You should have woken me up if you needed to go.”

“You don't have to baby me just because I'm having a baby Krissy.” I lightly scold.

“But what if you slip and fall?” He reasoned.

“I'll be fine.” I comforted and patted his cheeks. I took one of his hands into mine and lead him back into our room. “Let's go back to bed.”

“This is great.” He chirped as he slipped under the covers after me. “Instead of falling asleep while just holding you, I get to fall asleep while holding you and our baby!” He enthused and wrapped an arm around my waist. “It's great getting to hold two people in one.”

I laughed and pinched his cheeks, “You're so cute oppa.”

“Go to sleep sweetie.” Kris said and lightly pecked the top of my head. “I don't want you to be tired.”

I woke up this morning and found my bedside empty. It was Saturday so Kris didn't have to work today but it was a bit strange waking up without seeing him first. He always wakes up after me so this was new. I sat up in bed and stretched my limbs, releasing a long yawn in the process. Combing throw my messy hair, I got out of bed and went searching for Kris. Once I got out of the bedroom, I was met with a delicious aroma that filled my nostrils. I skipped down the stairs, following the scent until I saw Kris in the kitchen, wearing his half of the couple aprons that Luhan had gotten for us not too long ago. “Oppa what are you doing?” I questioned just loud enough for him to hear.

Kris whipped his head around to face me, eyes sparkling and a big smile on his face. “Sweetie! You're awake.”

I chuckled at his enthusiasm and walked farther into the kitchen, “What are you doing?”

“Making you something to eat.” He told as he added a few ingredients into the skillet. “Ah!” Kris yelped when he accidentally touched the hot stove.

“Oppa.” I muttered, trying not to laugh at his clumsiness.

“I read some articles online and I've called your mom and mine and we were talking about healthy foods you should eat while you're pregnant.” He turned to look at me again as his hand was busy stirring whatever was in the pan. “I know you need to eat a lot of folic acid so there won't be any birth defects and I know you don't like broccoli so I made you something with spinach.” He explained. “And drink a lot of orange juice since it's filled with folic acid.” He brought the wooden spoon that was in his hands and held it up to his mouth to taste his food. “Ah!” He yelped once more and dropped the spoon from the high temperature.

“Oppa.” I spoke, walking towards him.

“I'm okay!” He quickly assured. “Ah!”

I could only shake my head as I saw him grabbing the spoon at the wrong end, the end that had been in the hot pan. “Kris, just let me do it.” I requested, reaching for the wooden spoon.

“No.” Kris denied and set the spoon back down. Turning the temperature to low, he placed his hands on my shoulders and pushed me towards the table. “You go sit.”
