-Author's POV-

It was 2:00 pm and the students of their section were told that their teacher wasn't coming so she left a seatwork for all of them., so they still had to wait until 3:00 pm in order to go home. Real bummer. But luckily, Exo , (who were all in the same class for Chemistry), except for Kai who was still missing, and the girls finished the seatwork earlier than the others with the help of what you would call "teamwork". 

"So you remember nothing?", Chanyeol asked for the nth time and Lara just shook her head innocently

"Nothing at all?"

"No. I mean-- I remember some stuff but most of it is just black. I don't remember much of anything these past few weeks"

"I knew it! It's the persuader guys!--"

"Baekhyun please shut up ", the guys groaned in annoyance

"I was just trying to prove my point", Baekhyun pouted.

"Well that's weird. Do you remember what happened before we "broke up"?", Chanyeol asked as he held Lara's hand.

"Okay. First of all, there wasn't a break up. And secondly, all I remember is talking to Hyori and Coleen in the hall at school and that's that", Lara replied

"You really don't remember the part where he kissed Krystal?", Kris chuckled

"YOU KISSED KRYSTAL?!", Lara exclaimed, almost causing Chanyeol to fall off of his chair in terror. Everyone else in the room was startled for a moment, but went back to their own business.

"NO! NO! You don't understand! It was a frame-up! She turned into you then she kissed me then she turned into herself when you saw us and this is confusing-- Hyori please explain", Chanyeol stuttered out

"No need. I get it. I remember Hyori telling me that Krystal and Jessica were members of the Jung clan who are mostly shape-shifters. They're complete es as we all know", Lara smiled

"Damn. I almost got you there", Kris whispered at Chanyeol, who just glared at him with an obvious death threat.

"You asswipe. You ain't stealin the bae", Chanyeol said behind gritted teeth, pulling Lara close to himself protectively

"The bae? Dude are you on crack?", Kris asked

"Why do you think we call him Crackyeol?", Chen interrupted, making Chanyeol send him a death glare too

"Hey. Guys, aren't you weirded out by the fact that Kai's gone missing again?", Sehun asked

"He's always missing Sehun--"

"But why so suddenly?"

"F-...", Kai groaned as he fell to the floor of the school's hallway, bloody and beat up. Unfortunately, he was the only one out there.

"I just want to go homeeeeeeee", Luhan groaned helplessly in boredom

"You're not the only one", Xiumin said in agreement

"I gotta take a piss guys. Be right back", Sehun said randomly as he stood up

"Ew, too much information bro", Chen cringed at Sehun

"Hey! It's not like I said that my bladder and both need to unloa--"

"TOO MUCH INFORMATION", Chen exclaimed. Sehun simply chuckled in victory before leaving the classroom.

"Hold on Sehun! I'm coming with you!", Chanyeol exclaimed making Chen cringe

"I think they're gonna have se--"

"TOO MUCH INFORMATION LUHAN!"

"GOD that kid is insane", Xiumin joked, referring to Sehun

"It's all Luhan's fault...", Chen stated

"Wha--What do I have to do with him? He's an idiot!", Luhan exclaimed defensively.

"And why the hell are you fantasizing about Sehun and Chanyeol having gay se--"

"SHHHHHHHH XIUMIN!!! CAN YOU NOT TALK ABOUT THAT STUFF? THERE ARE KIDS HERE!", Chen exclaimed, waving his arms around like an idiot

"So you were fantasizing!", Xiumin laughed

"No I WASN'T! You erted freaks have to stop!", Chen argued

"Psh. You started it. If you didn't tell Sehun that him taking a piss was too much information we wouldn't be having this conversation right now", Xiumin chuckled

"You people are sick and you make me want to throw up", Chen muttered burying his face in his desk while the two guys continued making fun of him

"Guys, Sehun just called. He said Kai's outside with Chanyeol and him. And he's beat up", Zitao said, leading the guys outside

"Kim Jongin? What the hell happened to you?!", Kyungsoo asked as he knelt beside his friend. Yixing followed him to act as an aid for Kai, quickly doing his part to heal to poor kid.

"Youngbae, Jiyong, Seunghyun, and Dae--Daesung happened. They ganged up on me", Kai choked out

"I thought this was over with", Kris asked Zitao.

"I guess not" Zitao replied. "Was Seungri there?", He asked Kai

"Yes. But he was only there to try and stop them. They also beat him half to death. I think there's something wrong with them. Well, except for Seungri", Kai answered.

"So Kai. Do you remember anything from the past few weeks that YOU WERE GONE?!", Kyungsoo exclaimed, grabbing Kai by the collar which caused Kai to cringe in terror because he's seen this side of Kyungsoo before. When he and the boys burnt the kitchen down that one time.

"HOW COULD YOU POSSIBLY LET ALL OF US WORRY ABOUT YOU HUH? YOU WERE MISSING! YOU WERE MESSING WITH US! YOU WERE HANGING OUT WITH THE DANGEROUS CROWD AND YOU ALMOST HURT HYORI WHAT THE HELL HAVE YOU BEEN SMOKING YOU LITTLE DWEEB?!"

"I don't know, I don't know I DON'T KNOW! JESUS! I swear I don't know what happened! All I remember is leaving after Yixing's birthday and suddenly getting beat up by Youngbae tonight in which I couldn't fight back for some reason!", Kai answered, coughing out hardly after his statement

"Easy there Kyungsoo, you wouldn't want to kill Jongin with your strength", Yixing carefully warned Kyungsoo. Kyungsoo let Kai go, remembering what his anger had done to their living room when the boys ruined his kitchen that one time.

"Right. Sorry Kai", Kyungsoo apologized

"Yeah, h--heh no problem bro", Kai chuckled nervously because Kyungsoo scared the living daylights out of him

"There you're all fixed up. I think we should go in for now and wait for the other guys inside", Yixing helped Kai up, and led him and the others back into their AP Chemistry class. In the process, Kris and Suho simply looked at each other in confusion and both men dragged Chanyeol away without a word.

"Hey guys wait---"

"Shut up", Kris and Suho interrupted Chanyeol

"Are they gonna be okay?", Hyori asked, seeing that Kris and Suho pulled Chanyeol away, pretty angrily.

"It happens all the time, don't worry", Kyungsoo said

"Something's not right", Kris whispered to the two men

"Of course something isn't right. Don't you remember Seungri being all nice to Hyori even after he tried to wrestle the air out of her the first night she encountered him?", Chanyeol spoke up

"That's not what bothers me. Guys I just realized this, Hyori can't remember a damn thing about that night without Zitao's help", Suho said

"Same with Lara. She remembers nothing of what happened after our 'break up'", Chanyeol said in addition

"But we all know who messed around with Hyori's memory. It was obviously Jiyong. But what's been bothering me is the fact that Jiyong can only put people under his control if, and only if, he is in contact with them and he has given them a direct order", Suho stated

"Like that girl from the X-Men comics, Silverfox", Chanyeol said randomly. Making the two men look at him judgingly.

"What? I have a point! She can manipulate people by touch and she was a part of HYDRA and then she died!", Chanyeol exclaimed happily due to his fanboy feels making the two guys cringe at him.

"Shut up", Kris told Chanyeol and the poor boy pouted.

"So if Jiyong can do tactile manipulation, who the hell is doing the  telepathic manipulation?", Suho asked in confusion

"Any ideas comic geek?", Kris asked Chanyeol but all he got as an answer was a glare, and a shake of the head.
