Chapter 1:

Tiffany’s Pov:

I sit in the corner of my little apartment, an apartment that is almost empty, no television set neither a stereo nor a laptop/computer even a sofa.. Nothing..Really boring apartment

If you look to your left, you will see my old kitchen whereas there's an old kitchen counter, an old stove that I don’t usually use(I don’t have anything to cook), an old refrigerator that was unplugged and a small dining table where in top of it where so many bills that I didn’t paid yet.

I look at the white paper I’m holding, another notice, I sighed ¥10,000 will not let me survive for a month, my job just kicked me out and I can’t find another also, the other jobs that I’m working is no help at all.

And then, I just smiled to myself  :D

What’s the use of sulking right?? It will just prove that I’m a weak person

I stood up from my position and take a last glance at my apartment before exiting my door that the paint almost fade, before I could leave I look at my door , behind it was an ordinary calendar and stared at it as if it’s something valuable.

Today is October 10, 5 days more before their death anniversary I smiled to myself

Mom,dad? How are you guys? I miss you so much. Please be okay, please help me. I love you both.

I said to myself and just stared at the ground blankly

but before my tears fall I wipe it and just smiled again, I’m getting emotional this past few days so  might as well  to stop it.

As I walk from my apartment, the cold wind blew on my cheeks that I almost shiver because of it. I smiled at the thought of snow is coming soon. I walked and walked not knowing what I’m doing until I’m tired already and just sit at near bench behind. Ah..Sunset will be soon too. I wait at it patiently and just watched it with full of excitement, things like this makes me happy :)

After the sunset I stood up and walk again to my work with a smile plastered to my face.

As I reached the coffee shop

that I’m working I saw some couples doing sweet things like feeding each other, Holding hands, the guy kiss the girl's nose and blah blah..

And then, I just walked iinside our shop and greeted our manager.

After many hours of serving customers and cleaning the shop I’m free to go :p

FINALLY!!

As I walk quietly to the busy streets of Seoul(though it’s past 11:00 p. m already many street vendors  can be seen around here) I saw some rice cake stands that selling delicious foods. I went to the stand and was greeted by an elderly who’s smiling sweetly to me I smiled back

“Can I have those, please?”

I said to her while smiling gently and pointing to the yummy rice cakes, I think I’m already drooling..

The vendor gave to me the rice cake I bowed and then leaves happily and contented of what I bought

Before I reach my apartment I saw some bags outside scattered around, but I couldn’t care much because right now I’m too sleepy to think of anything. I opened the door of my apartment with the password that the landlady gave me when I moved in

It didn’t open

I tried again, but same result happened

9-2-7-9-8

 I said to myself while pressing the buttons

Nothing happened

“oh no!”

I gasp, don’t tell me landlady just kick me out?

Argghhh!!

The bags outside where mine?

I ran as much quickly as possible, when I reached my things I sighed thank goodness it’s still here.

I checked my things, contented I stood up and started walking again, going nowhere.

 Walking around is surely tiring, I sit to the nearby bench and place my bags beside me and then just eat the rice cakes I bought awhile ago.

I can feel hot tears were threatening to fall so I just wipe it off with my free hand while eating my rice cake but still the tears keep filling my eyes that makes my vision blurry

Where should I live now? I couldn’t live in the streets it’s too cold! I don’t want to die in the cold hard floor..

Help me, please.
