Two Different Heart BeatsI went home crying and dug my face into my pillow. I sobbed until as if there were no tomorrow.
Third Person POV
The bright sunlight shown through the pink silk curtains as she woke up
She got up from the blue and pink sheets and headed towards the bathroom. The first thing she did was look into the mirror. GASP Big puffy red swollen circles. Right then right there, bright red (pinkish) and very irritating. How worse can that be. Thankfully though it was a Sunday.
"Yung Ah, can you go out to the grocery store and buy the things on the list for me?" Her mother asked.
There was a moment of silence between them.
"Yung Ah?"
" Uhhh.....Yeah sure... later....." She didn't want to go but since it was her mom she knew it was the right thing to do.
Two hours later she dressed up in a white tank with a jean jacket over along with a pair of shorts. She wore her flip flops and her sunglasses also, to cover up her blotchy eyes. She was humiliated at what her face looked like. If a person she knew were to walk by her on the streets, they probably won't even be able to recognize her.
Yung Ah's POV
"Annyeong Haseyo" I was looking around the veggies with the list in my right hand and the red basket in my left. I picked out the long green stocks of celery, the cabbage that was practically the size of two heads together. Some banana, strawberry, and regular milk. Along with some other stuff for the rest of the week. I walked up to the cash register and gave her a fifty dollar bill. I had two bags in one hand and another two in another. Weirdly enough my little body was able to carry tons!
