Who are you?  The pink matoki asked. “I should be asking you that!” I shot a ball of light at it, thinking that it was one of the evil matokis.

“Hey!” Someone ran up infront of the matoki and took the blow for him. I tried getting off the ground but as I was about to stand up, I plopped back down onto the ground. I started breathing heavily.

The man yelled out, “Are you out of your mind? He didn’t even do anything to you! You’ll pay for this.”

The wind around me started flowing furiously. He must be a wind bender. You could see wind flowing around his fists and up till his elbow, there were even some leaves flowing with the wind. He clenched his fists tightly.

“H-h-hey man, I’m sorry.. I didn’t know.” I said to him, breathing heavily, lying down on the ground. How I wish I could get up, if I could, I’d definitely fight back.

“You wanted to hurt him..” The man loosened his fists and pointed them at me.              

At once, a hurricane of wind started coming at me. I tried forming a shield infront of me but it was no good, I was too exhausted. As if it wasn’t bad enough that I was still covered in matoki blood.

“This is it,” I thought, “I’m never gonna survive that blow.” I counted down in my head; 3, 2, 1. But nothing hit me. I looked up.

It was Dada! He took the blow of the wind for me. Are you okay? I nodded. The guy then tried to fire another tornado at me. Yong Guk hyung then came running along with Shishi, “Ya! Kim Him Chan! Stop it!”

Yong Guk hyung shot ball of fire through the hurricane, the hurricane then broke apart and drifted away. The guy, or Him Chan hyung, was in tears. Dada helped me up and I walked towards the pink matoki and held out my hand and snapped my fingers, my white spark appeared. The pink matoki seemed shocked as it didn’t move.

“Hey.. I didn’t mean to. I thought you were one of Napho’s followers.” The matoki looked up. It’s okay I guess, I’m Tats. Tatsmato.

“I smiled, nice to meet you tats.” I stood up and walked towards Him Chan hyung, “I’m really sorry, I didn’t meant to.”

Him Chan hyung looked up at me with his teary eyes. And then for a second they turned pink.

Not again. You know what this means right?

Pink mist started appearing around him and poof, he was gone. And so was Tats.                                     

Yong Guk hyung patted my back, “Don’t worry about him, he’s such a crybaby. Although Tats is the only thing he has right now. Oh and by the way I want you to meet someone else as well.”

And with that, Yong Guk hyung told me to grab Dada which I did. He then grabbed Shishi and held on to my shoulder, jumping all of us to another place.

The first thing I saw was a mansion. A humongous mansion that if I were to find the toilet in there I might need a map, no kidding. It was that big. I wonder who he wants me to meet. And how does someone like Yong Guk hyung knows someone as rich as this guy? Or girl. I’m pretty sure it’s a guy.

How am I sure?

Maybe because when I walked into the house, I heard the most beautiful sound ever. It was definitely the sound of a guy.

And I was right.

The guy greeted me at the door right after finishing the last line of his song, carrying a grey-mouthed matoki in his arms, he smiled, “Hello! You must be Jongup? Yong Guk hyung told me all about you. That must be your matoki.” He pointed and let his matoki hug mine. I simply nodded.

He laughed, “Come on now, don’t be so shy!” He asked his butler to bring us drinks and he did. Dada and his matoki then went to the backyard to play. I wanted to stop them but the guy told me they’ll be fine.

“Thank youuu~” He said melodically to the butler. “You have a great voice,” was the only thing I could come up with since Yong Guk hyung abandoned me. No kidding, right after he jumped me here, he immediately jumped somewhere else with Shishi. God I hate this so much. He invited me to sit in his living room, in front of us stood a magnificent fireplace.

He laughed again and smiled, “So I’ve been told. I’m Daehyun by the way, and my matoki is called Kekemato, Keke for short. It’s funny isn’t it?” I looked up at him as I took a sip from my cup. Ah fresh jeju water, my favourite kind.

“What is?” I replied.

“The name Keke. I find it hilarious because it’s true. Keke is always so happy and his laughter sounds somewhat like ‘keke.’” He giggled. “It gets really confusing sometimes. At times I get really bored and go ‘Keke stop keke-ing!’ and we both end up laughing.” I didn’t say anything.

“Am I being too open? Sorry it’s just that I feel quite comfortable. It feels like I've know you forever, like you're a long lost friend.”

“N-No! It’s not that, I’m just curious about somethings about you.. Is it okay if I asked?”                       

Daehyun hyung nodded. Maybe I should ask some simple questions before I pop the one question that I really wanna know.

“How did you get this rich?” I questioned curiously.

“Well, you see I’m  an only child. And my parents are always overseas.” He picked up his cup and swirled the water. “Since they’re always busy and never with me, they send me money. Big amounts of money. I use them to buy my daily needs and sometimes when I get really bored I go out for shopping.” He took a sip. “I admit sometimes I miss them. It feels so empty in this house, being alone. Even with my butlers and maids and keke, I feel.. empty.”

“Maybe I could stay here with you?” I jokingly said.

“That’s not a bad idea after all. If you’re being serious of course.” He drank all of his water.

“Really?” I asked with my eyes widely opened, I mean, who wouldn’t wanna stay in this huge house?

“Really. Why not we place a bet? If you win, you get to stay here. If I win, you don’t and you have to serve me for a week.” He clenched his fists together placed them under his chin and looked at me.

“Okay but how about you tell me what type of bender you are?”

He got up and walked closer to me. “Why not we find that out now?” He smirked and snapped his fingers and a green light appeared.
