By the time I woke up, Dada was already by my side sleeping. I guessed he wanted some time alone. I smiled, I'm just glad that he's back. My right palmed glowed a bright green. The one that matched Dada's mouth. It could only mean one thing. He was about to wake up.

Dada flickered his eyes, he turned his head and look at me, good morning hyung.

I smiled, too tired to say anything.

The mark on my hand, Dada told me that it's called a Matoki Mark. This mark only existed when someone has a matoki. I didn't really get what he meant though, when I asked him whether there were other matokis out there, Dada kept mum. He then carried on and told me that the mark will light up as long as Dada or any other Matoki is around. When Dada is asleep, the Matoki Mark won't light up, it will, somehow, mix with the colour of my palm and 'disappear'. When Dada wakes up, the Mark appears again, glowing the same colour as his mouth. The brightness of the Mark depends on how near Dada is to me. If Dada is very near, a very bright light green will glow. However, when Dada is really far away from me, the Mark will just glow a deep dark green.

It won't go away unless Dada falls asleep. Or returns to planet Mato.

I pray that day to never come.

Dada sat on the bed while I was getting ready to head out.

Dada jumped on me and looked into my eyes, Where are you going?

"Honestly, I don't know." I giggled, "I just wanna get out of the house, you know what I mean?"

Dada looked down, then looked up again, Don't go.

"Why not?" I looked, puzzled.

Dada wants to play with hyung.

I laughed, Dada is such a cutie! I decided to stay and play with him. Dada really loved dancing on our game console. So we had a dance off. We danced for six hours straight! Can you believe it? The score came out and I won, 45-42. We were so tired we decided to rest. I looked at my phone, it showed 4pm.

Dada was so tired, he slept on the floor. I carried him to the couch and went into the kitchen, opened a can of soft baby carrots and put them in a bowl for Dada to eat after he wakes up. I left a note on the table telling him that I'd be out to get a few bottles of soju. The mark on my palm disappeared, he must be really asleep.

I headed to the nearest mart, went to the beer section, hoping to grab a couple bottles of soju, but when I went there, there was none! Instead, a note was pasted there. It said, "WE WONT BE RECIEVING SOJU TILL NEXT MONDAY." That's like 2 days away! I dragged myself out of the mart and decided to take a shortcut instead. I walked towards the alley.

But as I walked nearer, the Mark on my palm started appearing. That's odd. It's only 5pm, has Dada already woken up? I was expecting shades of green to glow but instead, a deep dark blue glowed. I've seen never that shade of blue glow before. In fact, the only colour I've ever seen my Mark glow was shades of green. As I walked nearer and nearer towards the alley, the blue started to glow even brighter. I was looking at my palm the whole time and didn't notice that something was running at me. It hit my knees and fell. It was black and had long ears, it looked exactly like Dada, but when it looked up, it's mouth wasn't green;

It's was light blue.
