Secrets.
Invisible Minds'Aish, this is just too much.'
I stood at the door of my room. There was rubbish everywhere. My clothes had all been taken out from my cupboard, books thrown on the floor and litter, ugh, all that litter. It had to be him, besides, only both of us live here. I kicked away the pile of rubbish as I walked towards my bed.
There he was, sleeping.
You could imagine how angry I was, and for me, being angry wasn't really my thing unless of course you did something to piss me off. I shook him till he woke up.
'Yah! Why did you do this? My clothes, my books and all this rubbish, they're all over the place! What on Earth were you thinking?!' I stared at him waiting for an answer.
But he just looked at me in the eye, without a word.
That's right, I forgot that he couldn't speak. Ever since he appeared in my life, he had never spoken a word. Nothing. Not even a sound. He would only look at me, and somehow, just somehow, I could hear his thoughts. Weird isn't it? It's like mind reading I guess. Or maybe it's because he's been with me long enough for me to read his expressions. Well, I don't really know about that. Besides, he's been around every since.. forever. I softened my stare.
'I know you want to play but this isn't how you play. Not with my clothes. Not with my school books,' I picked up a banana peel. 'And definitely not with food.' He jumped and hugged me. It made me feel better in a way. He was only a meter tall, his head only reached my knee. He got down, and looked at me,
Dada is sorry Jongup, but something was disturbing Dada and Dada was trying to find a way to keep calm.. Dada won't do it again, Dada will help Jongup clean up the mess.
I smiled and we started cleaning. It took hours to put all my clothes back in my cupboard, books back on my table and to throw all the rubbish away. We lay down on my bed.
I suddenly remembered what Dada said earlier, he mentioned that something was disturbing him? What did he mean by something? I decided to ask. I turned to Dada and said, 'Hey Dada, what did you mean just now when you said something was disturbing you?'
He turned away. Don't ask.
'Dada, look at me. What happened?'
He turned back. Sorry.
His eyes started to glow bright green, the one that matched his mouth. It was glowing brighter by the second. I knew what this meant. I knew what he was going to do. I knew that he could do this. But why now?
'No Dada, don't do this to me, just answer me!' it glowed brighter, 'No Dada! Don't do this now!'
He's whole body glowed the same green that appeared in his eyes, green fog surrounded him and within seconds, he's gone. He had jumped to another location.
I was puzzled. I knew that Dada was a jumper but he would only jump if he felt uncomfortable. Uncomfortable? Why would he feel uncomfortable. I decided to look and Dada's sketchpad, he'd draw whatever he felt. Usually he'd draw smiley faces, or both of us walking hand-in-hand. But as I flipped the pages, I saw something different. It was drawn today.
It was a picture of Dada, with five other toki's looking like him, but they all had different colours. Blue, red, pink, yellow and white. They were all playing with each other, enjoying themselves, having a great time. They were on some barren land that I had never seen before. And at the most bottom right of the page, Dada wrote: When will you come?
