Strange Message
Falling Into the Darkness of Trusting YouJessica walked out of the lunch room with the ex-best friend of hers. She really didn't know what was on his mind, but it really got her curious that he wanted to talk to her all of a sudden. What does he want? Why now?
The two of them made it outside the door. As the door shut behind them, Jessica's eyes and body language looked towards Donghae. He was standing there, seemingly in deep thought. She crossed her arms and let out a heavy sigh.
"Okay. We're out here. Now what the hell do you want from me? I thought I was that you always hated and never wanted to even speak of me." Her words of hate spat out of her gape. She didn't seem to feel anything about it. She just stared at him with icy eyes.
Donghae felt the deep hatred of her words in his heart. It caused him to swallow his saliva. It really did affect his heart's pace of beats. Why such words of hate? Did she really see me as that complete jerk? Did I treat her with such disrespect? "Jessica, I..."
She interrupted him, "You what? You want to finish giving me such words of hell. Well, I don't want to f*****g hear it."
"Jessica," he said again. But no more words wanted to escape his lips.
"I'm tired of playing this, Donghae. I'm tired of arguing and speaking such words that I can't take back. I'm tired of always bickering and I don't want to face you anymore. I'm done."
He held her shoulders with his strong hands. "Jessica," he said once more with a straightforward eyes.
Jessica now took in his deep gaze in her head. She could feel the tense grip from his hands on her tensed up shoulders. "I don't understand. Why did you want to speak with me? Are you going to hate on me some more?"
Donghae slowly shook his head. He then backed her up into the lockers, with his hands on either side of her head. "I pulled you so I could speak with you. It's urgent."
She gave him a look. "Whatever your urgency is, I really don't want to care. So this better be good."
Donghae gulped again. He remembered Jessica's words in his head. "You know what I wish?! I wish I could change the past so that we were never best friends!" It kept playing in his mind and thoughts. At that very moment, he had felt a deep pierce in his heart, but he had no way of telling her how he felt. How can I tell her? She would just laugh.
Jessica was now impatient. "Okay, if you're not going to say anything, then I'm leaving." She removed herself from their close embrace and began to take her steps to the lunch room.
Donghae grabbed her wrist and yanked it, pulling her into his embrace, almost close enough for their lips to touch.
They stared into each other's eyes for a moment before Jessica pushed herself away. Donghae caught himself and cleared his throat.
"Mianhae. I must say something to you."
Jessica brushed herself off. "Bwoh? What is it? Make it quick."
Meanwhile, the others watched the doors to see if Jessica would come back, but no luck.
Yoona bit her lip, staring at her lunch and picking at it with her fork.
Kibum noticed her sudden actions. "Yoona, is there something the matter? Is something troubling the deer?"
Yoona looked up and met the eyes of his. "Oh. Ani. It's nothing. I'm just deep in thought. I've had a lot on my mind and I'm just confused I guess. I don't know." She looked back down at her food.
Kibum grabbed her hand. "Stop. Don't do that."
Yoona followed his hand all the way to his gaze upon her.
"You'll only make things worse for yourself. Just relax and it will all come together. Like a thousand piece puzzle. The pieces fit together to create a picture, but it can't if you put it
