Behind Locked Doors
Kyuhyun and Heechul sat hidden away from the rest of the people that filled the out of the way but classy restaurant. They had long since finished their food. They sat across from each other, a bowl of ice cream between them. Smiling happily, laughing and sharing stories about each other. Heechul hadn't felt this free or just this simply happy in months. Not even during the last few months of his relationship with Hangeng. There had something missing and whatever it was; he'd found it with Kyuhyun. He wasn't sure if it was the way Kyuhyun looked at him with bright loving eyes or if it was the soft burning tingles that were left on his skin anytime Kyuhyun's skin brushed his. Heechul couldn't stop smiling or take his eyes off the perfect creature in front of him. Sure, Kyuhyun was a bit snaky and sarcastic when he wanted but so was Heechul. It made their conversations fun and interesting. Kyuhyun's comments and laugh made even the dullest stories come to life. Heechul hadn't laughed like this in ages, he didn't want to stop. In fact he still couldn't wrap his head around the fact that the gorgeous man across from him was now his. His alone to hold and touch and love. He could spend hours listening and gazing at Kyuhyun. He wouldn't regret any time spent thinking or staring at him. He was worth it.
Kyuhyun smiled as Heechul went off talking about what he and Hongki had done the last time they'd gotten together and gotten drunk. He watched how alive Heechul was. Kyuhyun wanted to cry with relief and happiness. He didn't want to blink or go home to bed, just incise this was a dream and he'd miss something. If this was a dream he never wanted to wake. Kyuhyun leaned forward, catching Heechul's lips in a sweet kiss. Heechul was caught by surprise but smiled as Kyuhyun pulled back. 'Yah, Cho! We're in public, what was that for?' Heechul teased. Kyuhyun shrugged, 'you ate the last of the ice cream; I wanted a taste of it. You taste like strawberries Heenim'. Heechul laughed, ruffling Kyuhyun's hair affectionately. 'Lucky we got a privet booth or we'd be in trouble with the media' Heechul smirked. Kyuhyun rolled his eyes, taking Heechul's hand, kissing the back of it, 'I'm sure you could easily get out of any scandal Heechul'. Heechul turned his gaze away, blushing slightly at how sweet and affectionate the maknae was with him. 'Aish, Kyubaby'. Kyuhyun flashed Heechul a smirk, 'Ne, Hyung? I can't help it if I make you blush like a girl'. Heechul fixed Kyuhyun with a glare, 'YAH! I am not a girl!’ Kyuhyun smirked, gazing over him causing Heechul to shiver. 'Could have fooled me.noona' Kyuhyun teased. Heechul glared at his boyfriend who flashed him that adorable smile. Kyuhyun stood up, fishing out his wallet, leaving the correct amount on the table. He smirked at the slightly annoyed Heechul who remained seated. Kyuhyun moved to stand behind Heechul, leaning down to sing softly in his ear, 'Heechul neomu yeppeo'
Heechul shivered, gazing up at Kyuhyun as Kyuhyun placed kisses on his cheekbones and nose, smiling at him. Heechul couldn't fight the smile that played on his lips as he pulled Kyuhyun in for a quick kiss. Kyuhyun smiled, nipping Heechul's lip playfully before pulling back. He offered his hand to the older man who gladly took it, standing. Kyuhyun gave him a sweet smile, entwining their fingers, tucking their hands into his coat pockets as they walked out. The street was light up by lights over head, decorations of a festival that was to start at the end of the week. For now the street was quiet, only a few couples wandering around hand in hand much like they were. It was a deserted area that barely any younger people visited so they had no need to hide their faces but still kept their heads down. No one paid them much attention, which made for a pleasant change. Heechul lead Kyuhyun to a darker path by the river. He Kyuhyun a soft smile before leaning forward o the railing, gazing out over the river. Kyuhyun wrapped his arms around him, resting his head on Heechul's shoulder. 'It's gorgeous out here. That's why I love it here. I come here to think, there's no noise or disturbances. Just beauty' Heechul said softly, placing his hands over Kyuhyun's. Kyuhyun smiled, nuzzling his nose against Heechul's neck softly. Taking in his scent and how he felt against him. He closed his eyes and just took in everything. 'Not as beautiful as you' Kyuhyun whispered against Heechul neck. Heechul shivered as Kyuhyun rocked and sang to him softly. Both gazing out over the river, waiting and watching as the sun began to set just as Kyuhyun sang softly in his ear. 'Nothing better, nothing better, and then you'. Heechul could only smile as he thought to himself, 'Life couldn't get better'
