I shook my head. “No thank you.”

He shrugged. “Fine with me.”

“What grade are you in?”

He looked at me. “I can’t talk to strangers.”

I shrugged. “I’m not a stranger though. I go to this school.”

He smirked. “You’re still a stranger to me.”

I frowned. Then I bent down to look at a flower. “Isn’t this pretty?”

He nodded.

I plucked the flower and stood up. “It’s a daisy.”

He nodded. He turned around and then he left.

“What a jerk. You couldn’t even say bye when you’re about to leave.” I put the daisy in my pocket and sighed.

“What are you doing out here?”

I turned around. It was a teacher. “Uh…. Nothing?”

She rolled her eyes. “You are supposed to be in the auditorium.”

I gave a nervous giggle. “I know…”

“Then why aren’t you there?”

“Uh…. I don’t know?”

“Go to the detention room.”

I sighed and went to the detention room.
