Chin-Ho’s P.O.V

“Heyy... nah... Hi Kerry...” I paced in front of the mirror, practicing what I was going to say.  “Do you want to... Uhh... would you like to... no... will you come on a—“

“OMO!! Chin-Ho, you’re not asking her out are you?” Su-Ji asked provocatively, as she opened my bedroom door.

“What?? N-no?” I stammered, totally embarrassed.  “What’s it to you?? Get out my room!”

I pushed the door shut, leant on it and slid to the floor.  There was no way I could ask her out now that Su-Ji knew how I felt.  I took a deep breath, swallowing the lump rising up in my throat, suppressing my true feelings. Holding my head in my hands, I muttered under my breath:

"Kerry... Why can't you see that I love you?"
