1st Published Novel! "The Stargazer's Scrapbook"

Wanderlust

Wanderlust readers! How have you all been? I have some exciting news to share, so please spare me some time?

I've been a writer since grade 1 (2001), and have written countless other pieces since. I've started dreaming of one day becoming an author since grade 9 (2009). I never imagined that 5 years later my wish would have come true. I still have a long way to go, but this first publication was a major leap for me.

My objective for being a writer is simply to share my words with other people. My greatest joy is having my work read by others. It has never been to make money and I pray every night that I will never become desperate enough to bend that resolve. As such, for each book I publish I will select one charity or cause to support using my earnings from the respective book..

This is a secret, but I'm considering revising Wanderlust and eventually publishing it. If this happens, Wanderlust on AFF will have to become privated. Until then, feel free to read, reread, and even download the chapters. I hope that you all will still support me when the time comes ^^ I'M ACCEPTING ENGLISH NAME ALTERNATIVES FOR EVERY CHARACTER IN THIS FIC, PLEASE LEAVE SUGGESTIONS IN A COMMENT AND YOU'LL MAKE ME CRY TEARS OF JOY (I'm seriously stumped)

Enough rambling! I'll share the back cover text with you all.

The Stargazer's Scrapbook

If you could tamper with your memories and rewrite them in your favour, would you? It’s actually a rather easy thing to do.

Memories aren’t made purely from our interactions in the physical world. When we muse with our imaginations, we’re creating memories, too. When reality and fantasy intermixes over time, how can you draw the line between what’s real and what isn’t?

In her early years, Lisanna Spring was raised by her grandmother, a memory collector who loved to tell stories with impeccable vividness to anyone who would care to listen. Often times it would be to an audience of one; Lisanna. When Lisanna’s grandma lost in a fight with Alzheimer’s disease and was forced to trade her beloved babysitting role for an ironic bedridden ending, she leaves behind a beautiful scrapbook as a memento for her granddaughter. After a period of hysterical denial, Lisanna discovers the dying wish her grandma had left for her in the scrapbook and intends to fulfill it by becoming a collector of more than just memories.

Chapter 1: Hey there! New reader here :) I'm wasn't just simply love your story but also it's so inspired. At the same time, you've rise the awareness among us about psychological problem and certain chronic diseases. You'd also proved that not every stories have to be purely romance. Keep going with your writing! Anticipate the following pieces of yours will be publish into a novel after the stargazer's scrapbook :)

Chapter 1: Your stories are great! But as a reminder, I'd suggest for you to stop using POV every time you switched point of view. It makes your writing look kinda amateurish. Good writers will generally give each character of theirs such a distinct voice that the POV tags aren't necessary.
