"Ok well tell my best friend Min I said hey" Minho requested with a knowing smile on his face.

I stopped in my tracks and looked at him in disbelief. "How did you know?"

Minho shrugged "I guess they call me Almighty for a reason"

"Minho shutup that's me!" Key said throwing a pillow from the other side of the living room.

"Well it should be me." Minho threw the pillow back

"Guys get over yourselves , you're both lame." I said with a laugh before rushing out the door. I headed out of the building and to my car.

I got in the car and headed over to Min's place.

When I got in front of her house I texted her to let her know I was outside. Minutes later I saw her exiting the building. She she sported a cream colored blouse,high waisted shorts and a hat and some flats of course to bring out her shortness. Although she didn't look like she was trying too hard, I couldn't help but find her beautiful as she made her way over to my car.

"Hey!" she greeted enthusiastically as she entered the passenger seat.

"Hey, now where are we off to? Because you were the one who wanted to go out." I responded

"Oh yeah that's right" she responded "just follow my directions"

"If you say so"

So she directed me to a modest home that was on the other side of seoul.

"Where are we?"

"Oppa! You ask too many questions. Just follow me." she said

So I just complied. When we reached the door Min knock and was greeted by an elderly woman who immediately gave Min a hug as soon as she saw her.

"Min Young-ah I've missed you" she said letting go of Min.

"Halmeoni! I've missed you too. How have you been?" she said  smiling widely

"I'm fine by God's grace" she said "Who is this?" she said averting her attention to me. It felt

weird hearing someone say that. It seems like everyone knows who I am, but I guess not everyone.

"Oh halmeoni this is Jonghyun, Jonghyun this is my grandmother." she introduced

"Annyeonghaseyo" I said bowing 90 degrees to show my utmost respect to an elder.

"Ne Annyeonghaseyo. Ohh you're such a handsome young man! Is he your boyfriend Min Young-ah?"

"No halmeoni he's my friend." Min said sounded a bit embarrased. "Can we come in" she digressed

"Oh sure come in."

I entered into the most neat and simply decorated home I had ever seen. It was very cozy looking and welcoming.

"Go on and have a seat while I prepare some food for us to eat"

"OK" Min replied with a smile plopping down on the couch.

As I walked around I noticed a wall with a bunch of pictures of a familiar looking little girl. I smiled as I observed a picture of a little girl wearing a red hat backwards with an adorable smile on her face.

"Ahhh Min-ssi was so cute when she was little" I said waving the photo taunting her but to no avail.

"I know!" she said playfully smug. "Jealous?

"Of course not" I said "I was cuter" I laughed making my way over to the couch next to her.

"Really? I saw Hello Baby and based on what I saw I think it's safe to say that I was a much cuter baby." she said playfully making fun of me "plus I had hair"

"Woah now you just went too far" I said jokingly gasping "Now you must pay"

"Yah! wait- no!! stop it" she laughed hysterically as I tickled her to death "Oppa stop it"

"The food is ready! oh, am I interrupting?" Halmeoni walked in a little taken aback. I then realized I had backed Min into a corner all while she was giggling 'Oppa stop it!'. If I didn't know any better I would be thinking the exact same thing she was thinking.

"Oh not at all!" I said freeing Min of our quite compromising position. "I was just playing around with her, that's all" I said trying to ease the situation but the look on he grandmother's face made me realize that what I had just said did not sound any better.

"We're coming Halmeoni" Min piped in before I could speak again. "Smooth." she said referring to me.

"My bad. I didn't realize you were so ticklish"

"Yeah well now you know" she said leading the way into the kitchen.

We all sat down at the table. We said grace then began to eat. The food looked and tasted absolutely delicious.

"So Jonghyun-ssi, are you a musician too?" Halmeoni asked

"Yes I am. I'm in SHINee" I replied with a smile. I really do love how she doesn't know me.

"Do you really not know him. His group has been around longer than Miss A" Min said

"Well if it wasn't for you I wouldn't even know a thing about the music young people listen to today. I'm still learning"

"It's ok. I kind of like having someone not know me for a change."

Min POV

"So Jonghyun-ssi, do you have a girlfriend?" my grandmother asked bluntly causing me to nearly choke on my food quietly. So typical of  Halmeoni to be so direct.

"Not at the moment" he answered plainly

"Ahh I see" Halmeoni replied to him nudging me with her elbow while winking at me. I could hear

a small snicker coming from Jonghyun that Halmeoni clearly did not hear because she kept going.

"So this kimchi is really good!" I said trying to change the subject

"So what do you look for in a girl?" halmeoni asked proving that my attempt was in vain. No matter how old I get my grandmother will never cease to embarrass me.

Jonghyun toook a minute to think. Is he really about to answer this?  I can't help but admit that I'm curious to see what he'll say. "Well she has to be shorter than I am even in heels because as you can see I'm not Choi Minho" Jonghyun said half jokingly

"Who's that?" halmeoni asked wide eyed

"A really tall guy"

"Oh I see. So what else" halmeoni urged on

"Funny, sweet, and just an overall great person" he concluded

"Oh well you have great taste" she said "how about you Min?"

I looked at her incredulously. Is my halmeoni really trying to be my wing man right now?

"Grandma, I'd rather  not have this conversation right now" I said lowering my voice

"Ahh why not? You never know your ideal type might be sitting right here." she responded shamelessly gesturing towards Jonghyun.

"Halmeoni!!" Immediately my face turned red and I couldn't look Jonghyun in the eyes. If there is anyone who knows how to embarrass me it sure is my grandmother. Jonghyun just laughed flashing his pearly white teeth in the process.

Jonghyun POV

"Thank you so much for the food Halmeoni!" I said bowing out of respect "It was delicious"

"No problem, I hope you two will come visit me again, but with good news"

"Halmeoni! I think we'll get going" Min jumping in before her grandmother could say more.

"Alright but Min can you go to my room and into my closet. There you will find a box behind a blue jacket, inside that box is a gift in a green gift bag with a blue bow on it that I like to give my visitors, please bring one out." Halmeoni requested

"Ummm ok....if I can remember all that" Min replied stating the last part under her breath.

After Min was out of site her grandmother turned to face me.

"Here" she said holding out a black case. "Open it"

I opened to find two necklaces both were of crosses with hearts on them. One was slightly smaller and looked more elegant with diamond embellishments on it, while the other was void of embellishments, a bit bigger, and had a much longer chain attached to it. One was clearly for a man and one for a woman. They both looked equally expensive.

"Wow" was all I could say

"When I was younger my late husband gave this necklace to me the day before we got married. He said he knew I was the one God created just for him and he had wanted to give it to me earlier but he wanted to be sure I wouldn't leave him first. Until the day he died I wore this necklace while he wore the other one." She said with a tone of nostalgia in her voice.

"Oh well if I may ask. Why do you want me to have them?"

"Because I'm pretty sure you like my granddaughter and I think you might actually end up together. Min has never brought a guy home to meet me so I' m convinced that you two are close." she said knowingly. Did I make it obvious? I never wanted to label my feelings for Min but I guess I couldn't help but admit that I was head over heels for her.

"Ummmm well I'm honored but I'm not sure when or if it'll happen"

"I'm sure it will happen, whether it's a week from today or 10 years from today, give it to her when 

your ready. If it doesn't happen, keep it and never let her know you have it."

"Thank you" was all I could say before she embraced me in a hug.

She let me go and looked me in the eyes. "No thank you"

"Halmeoni!!" I shuffled to put the necklace box in my backpack at the sound of her voice coming from the hallway "I couldn't find it at all!"

"It's ok, I'll mail it to you. Now you two get out have a good day!"  Her grandmother said basically pushing us out with a smile.

"Ok bye halmeoni" Min said before the door was shut "I wonder what that was all about" she looked at me curiously.

"Beats me"I shrugged in response

"Don't forget to text me when you get there" Min said as he was getting ready to board the plane.

Min decided to see him off at the airport.

"I won't! See you when I get back, Try not to miss me too much" Jonghyun said catching up with my group waving goodbye.

"I know I will" Min said to herself waving back

With that he was off to L.A.

Boy oh boy has it been a long time! I know you guys hate me for not updating but hey here's an update now! I've been MIA but I can try more to update. I am still working on the update for That Girl so be on the lookout for that.
