"umm mom...um I'm at a friend's house. I had to study for a test and I slept over and I couldn't reach you guys and..."

"it's ok honey" what was I saying, they really do trust me..."your dad and I are gonna leave for the week, take care of yourself okay?"

Yeah, my parents are both super busy with their jobs, I guess that it is a plus when you are only an ocean away!

Well. I guess my adventure will end here. End of the exciting life of Samantha Hahna Lee, before it had even started. SIGH, I really was one big coward.

I turn around to see the weird phone guy stare at me in a daze. Korean people sure are weird. maybe its just him.

sure yeah, I don't look my best but hey, I don't look that  bad. I mean please spare me, I just got off the plane in a hurry, did NOT have time to take a shower and is huffing and puffing from running off the plane!

"Hey wait. Do you want a job?" 

WHAT THE HECK? Korea is weird.

I ignore him. Scam I'm thinking to myself. Who goes up to people and asks them if they want a job?

"Hey" he grabs my hand "I'm asking you if you want to become assistant to...."

"please leave me alone. I don't know you. Thank you for your coins, but I really don't know you."

I tug my hands out of his. wow, he has really big hands. They are also quite...beautiful. But he's a scammer. I think there's something wrong with me. Because I want to draw his hands...

I shake the thoughts out of my mind. Why am I thinking about drawing the hand of a stranger who probably just tried to scam me?

I think that I'm too tired these days.

I march over to the counter and hand over my bank card

"one way to New York. Economic class" I was temped for business class, but it WAS my hard earned money. I had spent a whole summer stuck behind a counter at Wal Mart for that...

"I'm sorry" she said after swipping my card a couple times "your card is not working, it seems that you have surpassed your monthly limit"

UHOH

STUPID ME. I put a limit on my card to prevent me from spending too much and scammers ( I really hate scammers), not knowing that it had only worked out against me. even though I knew the reasons very well, I could not stop myself from asking

"what do you mean?"

she looked mad. not good.

"your. card. is. not. working."    so much for costumer service huh?

what am I gonna do?

i really am in trouble now.

why is something/someone tapping their foot?

I whip around ready to lash out when I found myself staring at a very familiar pair of sunglasses.

stalker.

"so? about my job offer." seems that he as overheard my little conversation there...wasn't it supposed to be private?

my mind raced to look at my situation

1. I was across the pacific ocean, only 14 hours away from my cozy home

2. I am penniless because of my own stupidity.

My options:

1. go to the ambassad, get this straighten out, go back,  get grounded for life/murdered/tortured until I am 30 from parents

2. follow possible scamer for possible job opportunity

3. die of hunger in the airport and prepare for my own funeral.

4. Beg for enough money around the streets of Korea until I amassed enough money to buy a plane ticket

huh...number 4 and 3 seems quite unpleasant and so does number 1, guess that leaves me with 2.

"OK"

before I had even finished he had dragged me away. Isn't he supposed to ask for a resume or something?

"you are gonna love this job, you know how many people would DIE for this job?" he continued muttering excitely

"wait...what?! and WHO ARE YOU"

apparently answering questions was not his strong point....

"Hyung! Look, I found our new assistant" he ran to some guy.

That's when I found myself gazing at the most beautiful man I had ever seen.

actually, I think that I just died and went to heaven (though I never really believed in that stuff) since found myself looking at a group of gorgeous, smexy gods....

And then I fainted
