There are times when Chanyeol cries as he walks out the shower, all red eyes and puffy cheeks from crying. It's when he spends too much time in the shower with tendencies of over thinking and reflecting about the life he's living at the moment. He weighs his what ifs and could bes if he hadn't been a performer and all that jazz. The tears are only obvious results of thinking too much and an overload of information his thinking capacity couldn't take all at once. ​

It's almost natural for Baekhyun to be a witness of this, looking up from the book he's reading only to see Chanyeol's tear-stricken face. It takes him a few seconds to position himself such that Chanyeol could put his head on his lap and sulk with its comfort. ​ 

The taller does everything he could to cover his crying eyes with his forearm, only to have it removed by Baekhyun as he does all he could muster to ease Chanyeol's train of worries. Baekhyun traces Chanyeol's nose and closes his eyes willing for him to stop crying. It's in this kind of comfort Chanyeol does stop as Baekhyun gently massages his forehead free from all the creases and soothe his nerves. ​

"It's gonna be okay," is the last thing Baekhyun whispers in the still of the comforting silence enveloping them. ​

The last thing Chanyeol does is to smile, all better as he looks up to Baekhyun's face and whispers "Thank you, Baekhyun," before he drifts off to sleep in a world where he feels all better without the previous worries and anxieties that troubled him.
