Can you like me?

"Hello?" Genie picked up the phone without saying who called

"Where are you?"

"Near your house."

"Ok, don't leave. Wait for me there."

"Okay." Genie hanged up.

"Who was it?" GuiGui asked, but Genie shrugged

"How can you not know? You just talked to them for like 30 seconds." GuiGui said, still a bit frustrated

"Ehh. Whatever. Anyway, GuiGui. Are you going to tell me what you were doing there with that guy?" Genie sounded like a teacher, and GuiGui the student who did something wrong.

"It was our lunch break and he just asked me if I wanted to have lunch with me, so I accepted. That's it."

"... Does he like you?" Genie asked with her curious tone, and GuiGui shot her a 'What-The-Hell' look.

She shook her head immediatly and gave Genie an annoyed expression for mentioning that possibility.

"...Are you sure?" she asked again, though a bit afraid

Genie, head on her hands, shook it again. Then after a few seconds of thinking, she shrugged.

"See...... I actually think he does, GuiGui." Genie leaned in closer and said

GuiGui looked at Genie with a nervous face

"But....why?"

"Well, like you told me. He accepted you to work at his shop within the few minutes you stepped foot in that shop. And two days later, he treats you lunch. I'd say he likes you." Genie explained

"He even told me his secret about not going to school..." GuiGui talked to herself.

"What was that?"

"Uh-nothing. Oh man Genie, this is so complicated. I don't know what to do." GuiGui said, leaving Genie surprised

'You don't know what to do, as in. You don't know how to reject Wang Zi or you don't know how to tell Aaron that Wang Zi likes you?"

"Reject Wang Zi??? ... I haven't even thought that far ahead yet Genie, slow down." GuiGui started to freak out.

"GuiGui, you mean you don't plan to reject Wang Zi? Well then when do you plan to tell Aaron you like him?" Genie asked, and GuiGui's eyes went big

"What????? ... Tell A-A-A-aaron I l....Li.... that word, him?? Huh?" GuiGui was getting shot with many things that left her very confused

"... Or are you waiting for me to confess first then?"

"N-Neither! ... Are you saying that... Me and Aaron... like eachother?"

"What does it sound like I'm saying?"

GuiGui blinked her eyes a few times.

"I don't... like him." GuiGui looked away and started to write on the floor with a piece of rock.

"Don't you?" Genie's words struck GuiGui.

"Do I?" she asked herself. Even she, herself was unsure.

"Well... you two seem really close, so I guessed that you liked him from ages ago. Nevermind then, maybe it's just me. Sorry for all that." as Genie finished, before GuiGui could reply, Aaron arrived.

GuiGui lifted her head to see his panting face. He had run all the way to talk to her. Genie stood up and walked away to Jiro who was behind Aaron.

Aaron took a breathe and walked towards GuiGui. She slowly stood up and figited with her fingers. Aaron bravely looked at GuiGui's eyes without looking anywhere else. It felt that in this world, all he could see was her and her beautiful face.
