Have you ever noticed how dark your skin is and just wanted to be more like a porcelin doll? In this chapter we will talk about some ways to become paler. I personally, think that you should love who you are and what you look like, but that is up to you all~!

1.) Keep your skin moisturized!!!! Sounds strange, right? If you keep your skin, clean and healthy you will actually prevent more darkness, but instead encourage paleness.
 
 
2.) Sprinkle Lemon and Water on your skin at least 3 times a day! The lemon's juices help wake up your skin and make it lighter, while the water keeps your skin moisturized. After a few days, you will start to see a difference.
 
 
3.) Add one innocent ounce of Baking Soda to your bath tub and soak in it for about 10 minutes, only once a week.
 
 
4.) Wear dark colors, more clothes, or dark nail polish. These colors take away from your natural dark skintone, and make you look paler.
 
 
5.) Rub oatmeal on yourself. This sounds weird but it is an ancient home remedy to keep you looking paler, and your skin feeling soft.
 
 
6.) Make a mask. One part milk and two parts flour. Leave it on until it is dry and then wash off with semi-warm water. 
 
 
7.)  Take a semi-warm water bath with 1/2 gallon of milk and 4 cups of Epsom salts every week. The whiteness of the milk and the chemicals from the salts mix together on your skin.
 
 
8.) Potatoes have bleaching agents and can get rid of blemishes, and make your skin color lighter. Apply slices of raw potato on your body or make a paste out of it. Wash it off after 15 minutes.
 
 
9.)  Soak almonds over night, grind into a paste and  mix it either with honey or milk. Apply it on your body. When it dries, gently scrub it off and rinse your face with cold water.
 
 
10.) Make a paste by grinding a few fresh mint leaves. Apply on the body for 20 minutes and remove with cool water.
