I blow my bangs as I jump down the wall, finally manage to sneak out of The Hell Gate.

I'm running from my father. The Great Demon King who rules Hell. I'm sick of his lectures about me who will be the next Demon King. I don't want to be a Demon King. I want to live freely. You know, just live your life as the time goes on.

I spread out my black wings and fly up. Hell is on the very bottom and I want to get some fresh air up there. Maybe give a little visit to Heaven. I always curious of Heaven and now's my chance to kill the curiosity. Guess today's my lucky day. I fly higher and higher, getting far away from Hell. I flinch my eyes when I see lights up my head and pull my lips into a small smile.

As if I was reborn as a child who doesn’t know anything
I thought it was a dream so I closed my eyes and opened them again
I am standing in front of you as if I was praying
I want to walk side by side with you at least once
Just once

"Hello there" a soft voice called that made Kai turn his head back.

He was wondering around the Heaven's garden when he finally reached out of Hell. He was admiring the colorfull little flowers scattered around him and the sound of water falling down from a fountain nearby. He startled when a voice called, he couldn't just say 'Oh hello, I'm The Demon King's only son and I'm running away from my father to Heaven. How are you?', could he? But Kai felt like time has stopped. Because when he turned around, a beautiful angel framed his view.

"Are you okay?" the angel asked as he stepped closer to the frozen Kai.

"Hey..." the angel nudged Kai's cheek with his point finger. Kai snapped back to life and let out a 'huh?' that made the angel chuckled. His brown eyes shaped like crimson moons and there were slight wrinks above his eyes. His chuckle sounds like Heaven bells.

"I said, are you okay? You seemed lost, are you new here?" he asked. Kai gulped down and scratched his neck in an awkward way.

He cleared his throat, "Ugh.. Yeah I'm n-new here..." Kai prayed inside that he wouldn't ask his all-black-outfit that contrasted with the surrounding.

The angel smiled beautifully and reached out a hand, "Welcome! I'm Luhan! What's your name?" Kai stared down at the angel and bit his thick lips to prevent his wide smile that wasn't working, because his black eyes turned into crimson moons too.

"I'm Kai" they shook hands and grinned.

I ride the soft wind into your world
I go right next to you and you ask where I came from
You asked so innocently so I answered that it is a secret
Because if we just walk together like this
Wherever we go, it’ll be heaven

Kai didn't want Luhan to know that he came from Hell. Worst, that he was the Demon King's son. He didn't want Luhan to hate him and report him to Heaven's Ministry and send him back to Hell. He liked Luhan. Kai felt free and save next to him, he forgot all about his father and future. But little did Kai know, Luhan knew that he was running away from Hell. Because before he came to the garden, there was an announcement that The Demon King's only son had escaped from Hell and there was a warning that he might come to Heaven and caused a ruckush. But it was all wrong, because when Luhan met Kai he felt happy. And Kai seemed to be shy and quiet, so there was no chance he would cause a ruckush in Heaven. Luhan was surprised at first, seeing an all-black-outfit-boy; which explained he wasn't a Heaven's creature; wondered around The Heaven's garden but he regret nothing he said hi to him. Luhan liked him.

Kai goes back to Heaven every day to see Luhan. They manage to walk around without having anyone have suspicious on them. Luhan even lend Kai some white clothes that belongs to his brother, Kris. Kris knows about Luhan spending times with the Demon King's son and he keeps warning his brother about it. That they are not allowed to know each other and Kai should stop coming to Heaven because one day, when The Ministry find out, it will be much worse for the both of them. But Luhan is a stubborn, so does Kai. They don't want to leave each other's side, away from the fact that their meetings are forbidden.

Kris furrows his thick eyebrows as he sees Luhan and Kai walking hand in hand with a smile on their face. He himself not liking the fact that he keeps warning Luhan about their relationship but he must do it. Kris snaps his head when he feels a hand massaging his tensed shoulder.

"It's okay.." Kris sighs and smiles to him.

"Thanks, Yixing..." though they all know that it's not okay. At all.

Even if it’s a small thing,

They laughed and rolled on the green fresh grass. Kai tickled Luhan's sides that make the angel wriggled around.

"Ahahaha n-no Kai! S-stop it! Phuahaha!" Kai chuckled and stopped his fingers movements.

He cupped Luhan's pale cheeks in his hands and stared deeply into those beautiful shined brown orbs of him. Luhan stared back at him lovingly, still trying to catch his breath after all those tickles from him. Kai leaned in, their foreheads and pointed noses touched. He could feel Luhan's sweet breath hitting his face warmly.

Kai took a deep breath and said, "You know I'll protect you, right?" his dark eyes showed worries and sadness yet faith.

Luhan smiled sadly and nodded, he trusted Kai. They drew closer until their lips touched. White and black wings spread out without their will, a strong wind passed and made some of their feathers fell out. They both flinched from the pain but kept kissing, not even backed away any inch from each other, instead they shared a tight hug. 

As your guardian angel, I will block out that strong wind
Even if everyone turns their back against you
On hard days, I will wipe away your tears
If only I can be that kind if person
Wherever we go, it’ll be heaven

Luhan wrigled on his bed, sweats trickled down his spine. He snapped his eyes open and gasped, his fingers were clenching hard the white sheet. A single tear escaped the beautiful brown orb. He hugged himself and sniffed, his pure white wings spread out from his back. Some feathers fell out and it was hurt. But his heart hurt more.

"Kai..."

Kai was feeling the same. Pain. Their names being whispered in the air as their feathers kept falling out.

"N-no Luhan!!" Kris yelled as the Heaven's Ministry dragged him but Yixing's hands were holding him. Luhan smiled in tears as he disappeared with them to receive his punishment. Kris slided down and cried harder. Yixing was crying too and he held Kris to his chest to calm him down.

"Yixing... N-no! Not my brother... No..." Yixing only hugged him tighter.

I have come to love you now

Even if I lost eternal life, the reason why I’m happy

Eternally love

Hundred years has passed since then. A Chinese boy was walking in a street in Seoul when a running little boy hit him. But a strong hands pulled him into a warm hug so he didn't fall.

"T-thank you" he looked up and widen his eyes when he saw the face of his savior. He smiled, "I told you I will protect you, Luhan..." Kai planted a simple kiss on Luhan's lips.

The Chinese boy was still in shock, he couldn't let out a single word but tears escaped his brown orbs and soon a wide beautiful smile followed that shaped his eyes into crimson moons.

"I love you, Kai..." Luhan hugged him tightly.

"I love you, Luhan..." crimson moons framed Kai's eyes too.
