“Wah~ you called, huh? Can’t stand it anymore? You really miss me?” She put the phone down and rolled her eyes. “Tsss. Who am I kidding?”

It’s ten minutes after twelve, says the DJ. But, no. Sadly, she still wasn’t at her limit—at least when we’re talking about alcohol. But about everything else up in her head…I’m not so sure.

“Wow...” she laughed, amazed. “Morning already!”

She may fool you sometimes. She’s not the typical cutesy girl. She started at 7pm and right now, we have twelve bottles lined up in front of her. Twelve empty beer bottles.

 Still, those didn’t seem enough to drown her. She was still thinking of him. Didn’t they say that alcohol was an escape? That much like magic, you get to forget things—isn’t that how things work? Oh, because she wanted that. And she didn’t really care about being called such a coward right now. She really just wanted to forget him…even just for a little while.

“This is so unfair. Do you even think of me anymore?” she bit her lip, restricting herself.

And so, Sunny was definitely up for a couple of more drinks. The convenience store is just around the corner. She decided that was just going to finish this one last bottle and then she’ll head over there to grab some more.

She heaved a big sigh and leaned on the table, staring at the bottle she was holding. She smiled when she realized, and then chuckled, bitterness bleeding out of her system.

“Happy thirteenth bottle…”
