A cup of coffee to wake me
That sensation on my skin, that threatening pain. . .

The sunlight pierced through the window; the wind blew the curtains to her ankles. Scattered, were a few torn notebook pages, an uncapped pen, a diary, some pills, the telephone…
The bed was generally a mess, but her doll-like figure and her serene sleeping face balanced out the whole scene, nullifying all the chaos which surrounded her. There was a vast empty space beside her, and it seemed really lonely. But then again, solitude seemed lovely as an accessory—or at least in her case.
Somewhere in there, was a curse that had to be broken; a prince, who had to wake her up…
The phone went ringing a tad number of times at nine in the morning until Sunny finally decided to end her slumber and pick up. This has been an everyday routine and so needless to say, this was practically her wake-up call. He was practically her alarm clock.
“Good morning…” She felt her heart automatically warm up, as she pictured him smiling on other line. “Did you eat?”
Well, yes. It was always his voice that she first hears every time she wakes up. She liked that fact very much, she admits. But if she had the choice, she’d much rather see him sleeping beside her instead, when she first opens her eyes.
“No, Kyuhyun. I…” she replies honestly with a sigh, “I haven’t. I woke up just now.”
“You know I don’t like you skipping your breakfast…” His voice ghosted through her ears and made her shiver a little bit. Five years spent with this man, and the sound still gives her butterflies. “Sunny, you have to eat on time, okay?”
But she didn’t want to eat. All she wanted to do was talk to him on the phone—or better yet to see him. To this day, it still breaks her heart whenever he says he’s going to hang up because his fifteen-minute break at work is already over, or even worse, because
