“Marry me, Lee Sunkyu.”
…would have been the best thing to say at that moment. But he figured it was too early in the day when he wasn’t even man enough to say three little words to her.
But at least he took a big step today. He finally admitted to himself that she isn’t merely a responsibility anymore.
“Sunny…” he smiles warmly, retaining his grip on her.
And now, a promise: that he’ll be the best dad there ever is to their child.
And he was, alright. I should know.
That is only one of the many promises which Kyuhyun started to keep upon meeting Sunny. One of the greatest, I might add—along with the promise he soon made at the altar together with her.
Dad and mom soon realized that I wasn’t a mistake, after all. :)
