You were stunned at the scene in front of you. Rainbow coloured streamers dangled from the ceiling, balloons were strewn carelessly on the floor, party hats were on each boy’s heads, a huge banner that read ‘HAPPY 16THBIRTHDAY, ________!’ was hung, and party poppers were in each boy’s hands. Dongwoon handed you a party hat, blinking innocently at you. “...” You were speechless. “Uhh... Surprise?” Kikwang cut in. That snapped everyone out of their daze. “HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ________-AH~!” Everyone cheered. “...” You were still speechless. Dongwoon still held the hat in front of you. You just stood there, rigid. “Omona! Is she crying?!” Yoseob looked appalled. “SHE IS!!” Junhyung panicked, which was a very un-Junhyung-like thing to do, according to the BEAST boys. You looked in the living room mirror, and sure enough, clear droplets were falling from your eyes. You quickly wiped them away, but they kept falling. After you recovered and stopped crying, you didn’t talk. Everyone sat on the sofa. You huddled close to Dongwoon but rested your head on Yoseob’s shoulder. His shoulder was always the most comforting. “Do you want me to tell them, or do you want to?” Dongwoon asked. You nodded at him. *I feel like I’m going to cry again if I begin talking.* You thought.
