Chapter 07

Minhyun just stay silent on his place, he didn’t even dare to open his mouth again. He just want to make situation getting better by call him with his nickname but Ren just gave him a cold response or maybe…a harsh response.

“What’s annoy you?” asked Minhyun while control his emotion.

“That name,” Ren pointed his finger toward Minhyun, “I don’t like it if you call me by that name,” he continued.

“Why? Just because I’m not good enough for being your friend, huh?”

“That’s not it!” Ren snapped, making Minhyun gasped.

“Ren,”

“Yah! I said I don’t like it,”

Minhyun walked toward Ren and sat next to him. He held Ren’s wrist; earning a death glared from the other. Ren and Minhyun; both of them stare into each other eyes with cold look as they would declare a war between them.

“Why you always treat me different?!” Minhyun yelled.

“What do you mean?”

“You let JR and Baekho called you with Ren, you always act like a good guy in front of them but me? When I call you with your nickname you just shut me up,”

“What? You jealous?” Ren’s lip formed into a smirk. “Or you were being so childish just because… you remember your fiancé, huh?”

“Ren, we’re not talking about her,”

“I know… but she always on your mind,” Ren pulled his hand from Minhyun and focused his eyes toward the channel again.

“Ren—“

“If you really want to know about the reason, okay fine! I’ll tell you!” Ren yelled at Minhyun, “As long as I breath on this world, no one even dared to call me with Ren if they’re have a love relationship with me,”

“What?” Minhyun raised his eyebrow.

“What I mean is… Minhyun you’re not a friend for me but a lover instead, I love it when you call me with my real name so why I must asked you to call me with Ren?” he let out a deep sigh from his mouth, “ Then, did I ever ignored you when you call me with Minki?”

Minhyun just shook his head.

“See? You’re so childish,” Ren smiled.

Minhyun feel so ashamed right now but he thought it was okay to be jealous sometime. He's not used having a relationship with Ren, as long as he breathe he never had a boyfriend who have a personality like Ren. He didn’t mean to say that Ren’s personality was bad but he’s just different.

Ren and Minhyun were different. Minhyun may look like an open-hearted person and be willing to spit his whole secret to everyone but the reality isn’t like that. In the other side, Ren was a person who easily to read like a crystal glass. Whatever type of juice that you fill into the glass, people would absolutely know what kind of juice that you put in it.

Minhyun slowly opened his eyes when the sun ray reached his eyelids. he rub his heavy eyelids and blinked his eyes for several times until his vision getting clear, he sleep well last night after had a small talk with Ren which made him feel really better. It’s true that they were yelled to each other yesterday but the problems became clear now.

“Quit your creepy smile,” suddenly a voice made him more awake.

Ren was standing beside the door, hand crossed on his chest and he put his cold face like usual. Minhyun just put another gentle smile toward Ren while he rose from his bed and approach him.

“Sorry, but… good morning,”

“Morning, prepare and you’ll get your last dance course,” Ren said as he walked toward the CD player at Minhyun’s room.

Minhyun just dropped his jaw and quickly pulled the younger hand. Ren turned his head and smiled—in the mocking way of course—at Minhyun who put his shocked and worried face.

“Are you still mad about yesterday? I’ve apologize to you!”

“That’s not about that, Minhyun-ah,”

“Is that not enough for you? I’ll apologize again then,”

“I said that’s okay! Oh why you must whine like a child now? You’ve well at dance; I knew it from the start. You already learn the basic and for about one week…you just pretend to be an amateur right?”

Ren’s words just like a knife that stabbed his body. He got caught by Ren for about lied along this week. He knew that he was a fast learned type so he needs to pretend as an amateur just because he wants to have a long relationship with Ren. Perhaps he was a guy who surrounded by thousand girls everywhere but he didn’t know anything about love since his engagement dissolved.

Minhyun thought… love wasn’t a good thing.

“You intend to break up with me, Minki-ssi?” Minhyun grabbed his wrist and slowly his hand moved—linked their fingers together.

 “I just wanna say…I’ll move next week,”

“Wait, Minki-ssi… any particular reason why you decide to move out from my place?”

Ren shrugged his shoulder and smiling—now he look like smile on the warmth way.

“Boss got me a new apartment, it’s near from my workplace so I can concentrate more on my work,” he said as he began to dance with Minhyun.

Minhyun take his hand and circling his arm around Ren’s waist as he began to move his feet. He never understands why it’s so complicated more than when he had a heart sick at his fiancé. It was his last dance right? Yeah, right. He must ready for write some manual scripts for his movie. There’s no time for lovey dovey stuff, he thought.

Ren’s POV

Actually…I could refuse at my Boss’s offer but I thought it was the better way. Having him around me really uncomfortable, his gentle and cute side would make me completely fall for him. Yeah, I’ll fall for a playboy and then feel broken hearted after he left me, I don’t want that kind of things happened to me in the future so I decided to move out from his apartment.

What about our relationship? Maybe we will end it here. Aish, I don’t know.

I’ve planned to pack my stuff the day after tomorrow, not because I’m mad to him I just don’t want to fall in love with a person who still remembers about his past. He never mentioned about his past but I’m sure he always kept it on his mind.

“Minki-ssi,” he spoke again.

“What?”

“Never mind,” his stare became cold now. I guess…he pissed off?

I don’t care…err… the truth is I don’t want to care. With my bad personality, I think he will troubled. I know that I have a trash mouth and creepy stare that’s why he always thought that I’m mad over him. Honestly I have another bad habit except than my cold face; I always love teasing people like Minhyun. For me it’s amusing but I know he never like that. So I could stop now.

If I can guess why he looks so troubled…maybe because his fiancé call him again? made his past revolves around him~

He wouldn’t care about my move out things you know, because…

Minhyun never love me after all. The one he love was his first love because I’ve read it once on a book; it said ‘first love is unforgettable’

I was about to have my lunch—though we had a small fight but Minhyun still make one lunch box for me— and forget everything but guess what? The blond guy who worked on the same place at Minhyun appeared in front of my workplace gate. He waved his hand like he knew me for years, geez why it must happen to me?

I waved back at him lazily, actually I just want pretend to see nothing but he called my name so loud.

“Why are you here?” I asked him immediately.

“Get a manual script from Jonghyun,”

“Aahh… I see, well bye—“

“W-wait, wait!!” Baekho pulled my hoodie.

“What do you want? Minhyun sent you here don’t you?”

“No…listen Ren,”

“I don’t have any time left,” I glanced at my watch.

“Minhyun seemed down today, did you know what happened with him?” Baekho question earn a stupid answer on my mind. Not because of me, I bet that’s not because of me!
