Chapter 04

Minhyun parked his car at the Ren’s office courtyard, Ren said a thank you then opened his door. Before he walked out, Minhyun suddenly grabbed his wrist. Ren turn his head and found Minhyun was handing him a lunch box covered with red plaid sheet,

“You forget your lunch,” Minhyun said with a smile.

Ren frowned but he takes the box and walked out.

“Minhyun-ah, thanks,” Ren exclaimed as he waved his hand toward Minhyun. The older just responded with a wave and another smile.

Ren heard a vroom sound from his back and he saw Minhyun already turned his car and he was ready for leave. Once again he looked at the lunch box that Minhyun gave to him, it’s wrapped nice and heavy, must be lot of foods on it. Ren walked in to office and greeted some workers there, the always put their smile whenever someone came from the front door. The atmosphere was nice, that’s why Ren loved to work here.

He take the lift to the and push the 5 button, usually he would came to work by a taxi or train but since Minhyun drive him, he was fifteen minutes early than usual. He took his phone and goes to the contact list; decide to text JR about what he was doing right now but suddenly he saw a strange name on his contact list. It’s written ‘han’ he frowned and tried to remember who’s that ‘han’

Oh, right. He wanted to write ‘hwang’ but he couldn’t make it because when Minhyun gave his number, Ren was ready for work. He push the edit icon on his phone and changes Minhyun name on his list, when he was about to write hwang, his finger suddenly stopped. Slowly his lips pulled into a thin smile, it’s so funny, he thought.

He writes ‘minhyunnie’ on it.

Thump. Thump. Thump.

Again, those sounds disturb him. He held his chest and he felt that his heart beating louder. He shook his head and smiled again, he felt so funny for smiling like an idiot just because thinking of Minhyun.

“It’s just a game, why I must feel like we’re real lovers?” he said to himself.

Ren’s eyes still glued on his laptop monitor, his finger carefully typing some words and sometimes he takes his mug; for sip his coffee.

“Hey, Ren!” Ren turn his gaze toward JR who was standing beside the entrance door and showed him two bags of fried bread. “Let’s eat! It’s already lunch,” he said again. Ren rose from his chair and he grabbed the lunch box from Minhyun, JR frowned when he saw Ren with his lunch box. He knew that Ren couldn’t cook and he never brought anything for lunch, he prefer instant noodle or bread.

“Wow Ren… you make it yourself?” JR asked in disbelief tone as he sat on the chair,

“Of course not, I’ve told you that I can’t cook,”

“So…?”

“Minhyun do this for me,” without he know, Ren curved a small smile on his lips.

“Minhyun? Him?”

“Yeah, who else?”

“I thought your lover who makes them for you,” JR grinned as his hand opened the plastic bag that covered the bread.

“Yeah, Minhyun. He’s my lover,”

JR burst into laugh, fortunately he hasn’t swallowed his bread if he already ate them then he must be choked now. Ren frowned, oh right no one wouldn’t believe about their relationship. JR said between his laugh that Ren has a good sense of humor; making fun about his relationship with poker face was too good for JR.

“You know…about Minhyun, I heard he had a fiancé,”

“Oh, yeah…but they’re already separated anyway,”

“Oh? Minhyun always had ton of girls with him,”

“Why you know a lot about that?” Ren frowned,

“Well, we work at the publishing company right? Dongwoo-ssi from the celebrity magazine always talks about him,”

“Hmmm..who cares then?”

Ren continue to swallow his food but honestly his heart feels uneasy about what JR talk about.  It’s true that Minhyun is a good looking person but the way he talked doesn’t look like a playboy one. Ren bitted his lip instead his food, he need to asked Minhyun about that…but it’s not his business. Asked something unnecessary would make everything became worst.

“But believe me… he is too slow,” JR said after packing his stuff from their table.

“Too…slow?” Ren repeated the word with slow motion.

“Yeah, you know about Nana nuna from Manhwa department?” asked JR, Ren nodded. “She’s one of Minhyun ex, believe me!”

“Yeah..yeah so what’s the point?”

“She said being Minhyun’s girlfriend just torture herself, Minhyun never kiss or asked you to bed…he just want to play with girls feeling,”

Ren chuckled, he just want to play with girls feeling eh? So did he want to play with a guy too? That’s ridiculous. Ren was a typical guy who loved to hang out with girls and he never cared about the type, for him every girl always the same. They love to nagging, whining and also cheating.

“They just love my case, they never want to accept something inside of me,”

It’s already 8pm and Ren would be home soon, Minhyun still on his couch flipping some magazine with not amused face. Have a day off really for a workaholic like him, he couldn’t write anything today and all he did this time just lie on the couch or do a self practicing for Waltz dance.

He threw the magazine and shook himself in frustration, it would be good if Ren want to be picked up by him today but his lover said he would be okay with himself. It was his first time for having a lover refused his offer, see? Ren is different.

Although Ren thought their relationship was a game but for Minhyun it’s a real relationship. He would make Ren fall for him no matter what, but seem it would take a long time since Ren was a cold person. He never cared about anything maybe because he thought it as a game or temporary relationship.

When Minhyun talked about his ex-fiancé, Ren never put any serious respond.

TING.

Minhyun ran into the door quickly after he heard the bell sound. It must be Ren, he smiled.

Minhyun fix his hair with his own finger first before he opened the door. After finished with his hair he opened the door slowly and put his best smile on his face,

“Hi!”

Minhyun suddenly dropped his jaw and erase his smile. That wasn’t Ren, the one who pushed the door bell was Baekho and that’s make Minhyun pissed. It’s true they have a same hair color but it’s better for having Ren smiled to him instead this tiger guy.

Minhyun closed the door but Baekho held his hand, “Wait! You’re so mean!”

“I don’t want you,” Minhyun forced to close the door while Baekho forced him to opened his door. “Baekho…I want to rest!!”

“C’mon I just want to talk with you!”

“Definitely not!”

“Err…excuse me?”

Both Minhyun and Baekho turned their gaze at the person who stood behind Baekho. Minhyun opened the door quickly and put his smile again wider than before while Baekho dropped his jaw and stare at beautiful person behind him.

Ren crossed his arms on his chest, his stare was cold like an ice. Minhyun gulped, with that kind of face he knew that Ren was pissed about something and that’s no good. Ren shove Baekho and then walked in, he put his coat near the bookshelf and then made his way to his bedroom.

Minhyun slapped him self and he threw a death glare toward Baekho.

“W-what?”

“Go home. Now,” he was ready for closed the door again.

“No wait! Who is she? Your new girlfriend like Dain said?”

Minhyun paused. He gritted his teeth but he ended up letting a sigh from his mouth. He couldn’t believe that Dain talked about Ren to Baekho, maybe she tried to found out who’s his lover now. But, that’s not her business since their engagement already over… beside she never love Minhyun in the past.

“Seriously…I’m tired, ‘kay?”

Minhyun closed the door and sighed again. He walked toward Ren bedroom as he tried to figure what’s made Ren feel annoyed. He knocked the door for several times but no one answer him or opened the door for him, it’s mean he really pissed now.

Minhyun tried to open the door tough he didn’t know if it’s locked or not. Luckily, it’s not. He peek Ren who sit on his work chair with untied hair, he gasped and Ren notice him.

“Hey, are you a ert or something?” Ren asked; frowned.

Minhyun walked in and he rubbed his neck in awkward, Ren eyes still glued on him and it’s irritated.

“Are you okay?” Minhyun asked as he tried to approach the younger.

“Hmm…no,”

“Eh? Why?!”

Ren turned and smiled—in mocking way.

“Secret…” He whispered and chuckled. “Want to practice?”

“Err…not today,” Minhyun shook his head and smile.

For him it would be better if he didn’t practice for a while, he didn’t want to break up now. Just wait a little longer and spent more time with Ren again.

“Oh, is that so? Minhyun-ah, do you have any good DVD?”

“Oh? y-yeah, Aron made a new movie last week want to watch it?”

They both agreed to watch the DVD at living room tonight. Ren left his work for a while and go to the downstairs, he didn’t even notice that Minhyun was enchanted by his untied hair. Ren sat on the couch as Minhyun the movie, at first he was hesitated for sat beside Ren but it was so hard if he took the left couch, he couldn’t see the movie clearly.

Ren enjoyed the movie though his mind wasn’t focused at all because what he heard from JR today. A guy who sat beside him was a slow poke playboy? Hell no. He wouldn’t believe what JR said.

When the kiss scene appeared on the movie, Ren turned his head toward Minhyun. He leaned closer and locked his eyes with Minhyun. The other guy was surprised by Ren actions, but he slowly reached Ren’s hand and he kissed the blonde guy. It’s not a peck, but a kiss.

On Ren’s mind there was JR who smiled playfully at him, he really want to punch him with his own fist. JR was a liar.

“I’m jealous for those girls…” Ren whispered as he pulled himself from Minhyun.
