It Started With a Dance Battle
CAP’s POV:
“Thank you so much for hiring me, Mr Kim!” I hear Kiseop once again thanking the boss and I chuckle under my breath.
L.Joe’s eyes meet mine, and it feels like we’re both thinking the same thing.
-He’s SO grateful-
“It’s nothing, I need a worker, and you need a job, it’s as simple as that.” He smiled and pats Kiseop on his shoulder.
One great thing about the boss is that he’s so friendly, he acts like we’re his kids rather than his employees.
The last customers just left and we’re finishing up, wiping the tables and the floors. Our boss told Kiseop that he could stay and learn our routines and so on so he’s basically been observing all night, following L.Joe or me, talking with the chef, filling out his working hours..
The boss looks at the clock and claps his hands to get our attention.
“Alright boys, your working hours are over and I wouldn’t want you to work over-time.”
-Yup, he’s really kind-hearted, most bosses would’ve made sure we stayed until everything was done and the only thing left was to lock the doors, but he does it all by himself-
We take off our “uniforms” (a.k.a. black shirts and black half aprons) and say goodnight.
“Soo.. What do you think?” I ask Kiseop as we start walking to the nearest bus stop.
“It seems like a good job, and I can’t wait until I get my first paycheck!” He smiles.
L.Joe reaches out and ruffles Kiseop’s hair, grinning.
“You’ll have that bass guitar in no time.”
