The very next night, after working at Chanyeol's cafe, you went straight to your new job. You were now an employee of a convenience store. And you only worked from 8 to 11 PM. You've also been accepted to work at Starbucks at the university, that way, if Baekhyun comes to visit you, you'll pretend that you were just studying until your next class starts. You couldn't help but feel guilty. You bit your lip, unsure if you were ready to tell him.

You greeted the night manager at the store, who was going back home to get his phone, and you started working. You tore the tape on the box off and started sorting out the chips and setting them faced forward. "Hello? Is there anyone that works here?" a customer called out.
"Coming! Please wait a second!" You stood up and brushed your pants. You looked up and saw Baekhyun. Luckily, he was face towards another direction. You gasped and quickly put on fake glasses and pulled your hoodie up. You walked behind the counter with your head lowered. You took Baekhyun's items. Chips, ramen, sodas, and candy. You looked at each and every one of the items. *Is he eating all this?!* Baekhyun didn't pay attention to what you were doing. He just kept looking out the window, smiling. "3979.5000 won," you said softly.

Baekhyun quickly got out his money, not bothering to count them, he gave you 4500 won. "Keep the change," he said and grabbed his items, walking away happily.
You softly smiled as you watched he walk around the corner. *I'm glad to see you still smiling...* You sadly sighed. Your smile faded away. Of course you were happy to see Baekhyun smiling. But what hurt you was not being able to hear Baekhyun's voice or being able to hear him scold you. You sighed and went back to work.

After hours of work, you finally went home. You said bye to your night manager and other workers and headed home. On your way home, you passed by the park in Chanyeol's neighborhood. You quietly walked around the park. You looked to your right and saw a smiling Baekhyun walking next to you. You looked at him. He looked back at you. You blinked and closed your eyes, re-opening them. No one was there. *Am I going crazy now?* You sighed and shook your head.

Then you heard laughter. You looked up and saw Baekhyun, with another girl. Your eyes widened. Baekhyun was smiling and laughing at her. You couldn't help but smile of happiness, jealousy, and hurt. You turned the other direction and started walking home. *I'm glad you're really happy. I guess you don't need me anymore...*

The next day, you were working at Starbucks. It was a busy day. Students lined up in front of your register and ordered. You exhaled and wiped sweat off your forehead. *Busy day...*
"Hyemi, you can take off now," the manager said.
You nodded and bowed, and started to leave the cafe.

You phone vibrated. 'NOONA! BAEKHYUN HYUNG IS ON HIS WAY TO THE UNIVERSITY!!' the text from Sehun said. You're eyes widened. *Wha--* You suddenly fell down.
The stranger gasped and bent down. "I'm so sorry! Hyemi, are you okay?"
You looked up and there he was. "Baekhyun..."
He looked at your knee. He sighed of relief. "Thank god, you don't have any bruises or scrapes..." he said and helped you up.
You tried to avoid eye contact with him, but every time you tried, you kept looking at his beautiful brown, clear eyes. You gulped. "What are you doing here?" you asked.

He looked at you. "Why? I can't come and see my twerp? I barely get to see you. I haven't seen you for the last whole week! I missed having you around to scold," he said and grinned.
You couldn't help but smile. "I'm sorry," you said.
"It's okay. But if you really want to make it up, you should buy me some ramen." You sighed and nodded.

Baekhyun ate his ramen happily. You watched him and realized that he hasn't ate a lot since you've left. He looked a lot more skinny than he did before. He looked at you. "Aren't you eating?" You shook your head. He frowned. "Yah, you should eat," he said. He grabbed a the noodles with his chopsticks and held it up at you with his hand under his chopstick incase any of it fell. "Eat," he said. "If you want to see a smiling Baekhyun, the you should eat." You looked at him and realized that he was serious. You sighed and ate the ramen that he held up for you on his chopsticks. "And if you want to see a happier Baekhyun, then you should..." he trailed off.
You looked at him. "I should what?"
"Move back in with us. Or, I move in with you." He was being very serious this time.

Your eyes widened. "Uhm..." You took out your wallet and slammed the money on the table. "I have to get to class."
He followed you out and grabbed your wrist. "Don't even bother. The guys told me everything. You can't hide everything from me." You looked at him. His eyes were getting teary. You looked away in guilt. He held your face, making you look at him again. "Don't try to hide from me. And don't even try to get rid of me..."
