SUMMARY:

Park Sandara, better known as Dara or Sandy, is the daughter of a very big boss in the mob. For safety reasons, she, her younger siblings and mother were moved away from their real home to avoid them from getting hurt any further and to protect them. For years they had lived in silence and peace until Sandara and Sanghyun finally decided to attend University of the Performing Arts. There, Dara met the notorious jerk, Kwon Jiyong (nicknamed G-Dragon or G-D by some friends).

Of the years she's been in the school, she's never paid attention to his deeds nor did she even take a second to even look at him. The longest time she'd ever spent looking at him was when her lunch said hi to his expensive shirt. Surprisingly, the well-known hot headed bad boy softened up when this whole ordeal happened.

Simple story short, she hated him, but he kept on chasing her for reasons she does not know. She didn't want to get involved with his stuck-up deeds but when he says he knows about her father, everything falls downhill, especially since the said, "G-Dragon" was the son of her father's number one rival. Could the reason that he is sticking himself to her be because he's looking for a weak spot on when to strike her dad? Or was it for another reason that involved her?

PROLOGUE:

---"A contest? For what?"

Bom reached out across the table and grabbed the piece of paper that Chae Rin was waving around in front of their faces. It was a list of activities for the music festival that their school is holding and so far the second youngest of their group had suggested that they enter the Music Group Contest.

"Lemme see that." Minzy had said and snatched the paper away from the red-head.

"Can't you do a solo Chae Rin? I mean you are very much capable of doing so." Bom suggested reluctantly.

By any means, she thought Chae Rin was very much capable of going solo. She had a nice husky voice and a knack when it came to rapping, plus her charisma ooze off her being whenever she performs.

Chae Rin gave her a look of dismay and sighed. "I thought of that, but when I asked to be entered the slots were already full. Last slot was given to Kim Hyuna of the modern arts department." She explained. "I was disappointed, but when I think about it, it will be the best chance to do something as a group, so will you?"

Minzy turned to Bom with pleading eyes. "Let's do it noona. We could use the songs that Chae Rin composed. Those are good."

She put on her best attempt to do a puppy dog plead, but Bom looked passed this and squinted her eyes towards the paper Chae Rin was holding up. She leaned forward and read the fine print scribbled right below the bold letters of the event. She shrugged her shoulders and leaned back on her seat.

"It says there that the group should be composed of 4-8 people. I can only count 3." She said matter-of-factly.

Right on the nick of time, their last best friend arrived carrying a few books with her.

"You guys seem to be discussing something. You mind sharing?" She plopped herself down on one of the empty seats and placed her books on top of the table.

Three heads turned to her once she was comfortable. Curious as to why her friends acted that way she said, "What?"

The three of them grinned at the same time, making her feel wierd all over. They were silent for a while until Minzy spoke up.

"Yah, Sandara. You used to join singing contests right?" She asked.

Dara snickered. "No."

"But you can sing right?" Bom added.

Before Dara could answer, Chae Rin cut her off. "Yeah she can sing a little bit."

"Mwo!? I don't sing!" She defended.

Chae Rin snorted and rolled her eyes. "Yeah you can. I hear you sing in the shower all the time."

"Chae Rin!"

"So it's settled! Our last member will be Dara-noona!" Minzy exclaimed clapping her hands together.

"Group!? For what!?"

Dara whipped her head back and forth to each and every one of her friends the questions she can not voice out just forming in her mind. None of them was paying her any attention as they were all too busy discussing other matters.

"What will be our name?" Chae Rin asked completely ignoring Dara.

"2NE1." Bom simply answered.

"I like it!"

"Wait... what is going on here!?" Dara slammed her hands down on the table startling her three friends out of their conversation.

"The four of us will be enterring the music contest of our school's musical festival." Chae Rin said showing her the piece of paper that she was holding.

Dara tok the paper from her bleached blonde friend and started to read. "Who else will be enterring this contest?" She asked giving Chae Rin back the paper. She didn't take it from Dara though. Her eyes were fixed on something rigt in front of her. And no, it wasn't Dara or Bom, but something else.

"Them." She replied pointing out the five boys that just arrived and sat three tables away from them.

All of them turnedtheir heads towards where Chae Rin was looking at. Minzy turned to Bom and asked in mock tone. "Mwo? Isn't that Kwon Jiyong's group?"

"Nae." Bom replied nodding her head as well. "But Chae Rin, how do you know that they're enterring?"

"I heard Kwon Jiyong talk to Dong Youngbae and Choi Seung-hyun about it at the library."

Dara focused on the five laughing boys away from them. All her friends went back to conversing with each other leaving her staring alone at her schoolmates. Her eyes focused to one guy in particular.

"Kwon Jiyong..." She mouthed.

She would not have teared her eyes away from him if he hadn't turned to her direction and catching her looking. It also didn't help that he smirked at her as he gave a wink. The small act caught her by surprise and didn't leave her time to respond. The fastest thing she could come up with, was an eyebrow and look away. And she did excatly just that. "Feisty girl." Jiyong muttered.
