“Kyuhyun, my friend called me yesterday and told me that you ditched his daughter last night, is that true?” his dad asked him during breakfast the next day

Before Kyuhyun could answer, Nana answered for him, “Appa, please don’t be mad at oppa, I called him last night and told him that I was sick, that’s why he rushed back home” she said

Mr.Cho and Mrs.Lee were shocked, their little daughter never lied before.

“Appa, I’m sorry…” she said and looked down

“Cho Nana, you’re grounded for a month!” Her dad told her, “You can go to school without having your breakfast today!” he added

Nana bowed to him before living their dining room.

“I can’t believe she did that” Mr.Cho told Mrs.Lee

“I think that’s because of her new friends Aboji” Kyuhyun suddenly said, he rarely talked to his dad but he need to

Donghae picking up the hint, “We found out that there’s an all-boys school beside her school aboji, I heard some of the boys are trying to pick up girls from her school… I think we need to transfer her to somewhere safer… “ he said

“Really?” his dad was shocked

“Omo, yeobo! We have to act fast… look at your daughter… she’s becoming prettier each day… this is the age when we need to be really worried! Especially since we have a girl” Mrs.Lee said worriedly

“But where should we transfer her to, yeobo? Her school is one of the best private schools in the country” he asked his wife

“Leave that to us Aboji! We will find a good school for her” Donghae said and smiled evily

“I have to change school???? Starting next week???” Nana’s eyes widened when she heard the news from Kyuhyun when he picked her up after school

“But why??? Is this Appa’s punishment???” she asked him

Kyuhyun nodded, “He thinks that your friends might influence you to be bad” he said

“But they’re not….” she said, “That new school is like in the middle of nowhere!” she pouted

Exactly! Kyuhyun said in his mind, Donghae hyung and me did lots of research to find this high school! One of the top all-girls school, no boys or mixed schools for the next 50 miles, they don’t accept male teachers, one of their rules is that the no boys allowed inside the school except for their family members. A really save environment for his little sister. The most important thing is that the school is practically across his office, so he can drop by at any time now!

“I will miss Minji and my friends…” she said, sadly

“I know you would be sad, that’s why I will bring you to eat ice cream today!” Kyuhyun pretended to look concern

“Really oppa???” she suddenly cheered up again

“And since your new school is just across my office, I will drop you off to school too… not only picking you up like now…” he said

“Really?” she couldn’t hide her happiness

“Are you that happy?” he                             

She blushed when Kyuhyun ruffled her hair… she felt that her feeling towards her brother is growing more and more each day… and she’s scared… she doesn’t think that it’s normal…

“Kyuhyun, I arranged a meeting with my other friend’s daughter” Mr.Cho told his son during their dinner

“Appa…!” Nana couldn’t believe her dad

“It’s only a lunch meeting Na-yah! Don’t act like that” he told his daughter

“Na-yah! Why are you so against your oppa to get married, he’s 24 years old already” her mom asked her

“I….” she couldn’t tell them the whole truth that she likes her oppa

“Are you jealous that your oppa can date but you can’t?” her mom asked her, “Does our Nana wanted to date someone as well?” she asked

“Omma! She’s too young! How could you!” Donghae suddenly said, panicking

“Yes yeobo! Our daughter is too young for that!” Mr.Cho said

Kyuhyun sighed, what is that woman thinking! Just because she’s herself to his dad doesn’t mean that she could teach his precious little sister the same thing!

“When you’re old enough, Appa will personally pick someone really good for you!” Mr.Cho said and rubbed her head gently

“Aboji, she’s too young! I don’t think we should talk about something like this to her” Kyuhyun gave his opinion

Mr.Cho glanced at his son, he rarely talked to him. To think about it, if it’s not about his dongsheng, he never talked to him at all…

“Aboji, when you said she’s old enough, how old are you thinking?” Donghae asked his dad as well

Nana looked at both of her oppas, they are just too unbelievable! It’s about her future, shouldn’t’ she decide everything by herself? No! They just have to decide everything for her, without ever asking her opinion!

“Oppa….! Please don’t go to the arranged meeting” Nana told Kyuhyun when they were on their way to school the next day, she forced him to take her to school even though she hasn’t transfer to her new school yet.

“Na-yah….! If I don’t go this time, aboji will chopped me off from my position!” Kyuhyun answered and sighed

“Is being the president of UPI is more important than your dongsheng?” she asked him

“Na-yah, why are you being like this recently?” he asked her, “It’s not like I never had girlfriends before” he asked her

“Annie…” she looked away

“Will you pick me up from school today?” she asked him again

Kyuhyun sighed, “I can’t… Na-yah, you heard aboji, he wanted me to meet this girl for lunch…” he said

“I can wait…” she said persistently

“Na-yah, just for today… I’ll pick you up again tomorrow okay?” he said, trying to persuade her, “I did take you to school today didn’t I?” he added

Nana shook her head, “I’m going to wait until oppa pick me up!” she said before getting out of the car and slammed it closed

Kyuhyun sighed, it’s his own fault for always spoiling her.

That afternoon…

Kyuhyun met with the girl in a café near his office, she was really pretty…

“Anyionghaseyo, my name is Park Gyuri!” she bowed to him

Kyuhyun got up from his chair, “Anyionghaseyo, my name is Cho Kyuhyun” he said

“How old are you if you don’t mind Gyuri-ssi?” he asked him

“I’m 24 years old, I guess the same age as you?” she asked

Kyuhyun nodded.

“I’m looking for a successful guy, because I’m running my father’s company right now as well… I think you fit the criteria well” she said confidently

They talked about their life, Gyuri told him about her life in America when she finished her master program there.

“I’m a little bit hungry Kyuhyun-ssi, do you think we should head out and find a restaurant?” she asked him

Kyuhyun looked at his watch, Nana should be finished her school by now. “Hm.. sure” he said, she wouldn’t really wait for him

Should I really wait for him? Nana thought. Oppa would never disappoint me!

“Oppa, are you coming? I’m waiting for you” she texted him

3 hours later…

I guess he really won’t come! I’m just too foolish! He didn’t even reply my text message!

She tear up a little bit and decided to walk home by herself. For some unknown reason, she felt disappointed.  

She looked down, why I felt so disappointed? Kyuhyun oppa is right, it’s not that he never has a girlfriend before! But why it felt so different now? What had changed?

She went through the park near her school to get to the bus stop.

BRUKKK! She didn’t look where she’s going and accidently bumped into someone. She fell down and looked at three guys in front of her. She recognized one of them, it’s Joon.

“Oppa?” she looked confused, Joon doesn’t look friendly at all

“Yah! Cho Nana, how dare your oppa bullied our friend Joon?” one of his friend said

“Huh?” she looked confused

“Don’t act dumb!” Joon grabbed her uniform’s collar.

“Ouch! Oppa that’s hurt!” she was scared

“That’s hurt? Called your beloved oppa then!” he mocked her

“Leave my oppa alone!” she couldn’t understand why he hated her oppa

She looked at the three of them, they were carrying big softball bat. Are they going to hit her oppas with that???

“Call you oppa now!” he said while tighten his grip

“No!” she refused to call her oppas, she won’t let them to be hit with those large bat

“Are you trying to act brave, ?!” Joon said and throws her to the ground without warning

Nana hit the ground pretty hard, she could feel her right cheek bone are bleeding as it rubbed against the hard ground.

Without paying attention to the pain, she run as hard as she could. She never felt scared or run that fast in her entire life. They never allowed her to do any kind of vigorous exercise.

“Get her!” she could feel three guys were running to catch her

She run and run to her last breath… Oppa! Please save me! Kyuhyun was the first person she thought of.

Degh! Oh No…! Heart, please don’t fail me now…. Please… please…

With the run that she just did, her heart failed, it needs to pump extra blood to follow her rhythm, but with the hole inside her heart, it failed to do so… with the unbarring pain from her chest, she fell to the ground…. She pressed her chest hard… it hurts! It hurts to breathe too…

“Aaahhhh” she could feel someone yanked her hair.

“Are you trying to escape from us?” one of the boys catches her

She looked around; she couldn’t find anyone at this hour in the park.

“Helppp…. Help…” she tried to scream, but her heart doesn’t seem to allow her to do so

“Shut up!” one of them slapped her hard, she could taste her blood in and lips

“Oppa…. Please… let me go” she was still lying on the ground, crying, hitting her chest

“Aaarrrrrrghhhhh….” She felt they grabbed her hair again

“You don’t want to call your brothers? Fine! Let see what they will do if they know that we rapped their precious sister??” they said and laughed

“Noooo… nooooo oppa please” she said, she was so scared

“Do it!” Joon said

They were holding her, ripping her uniform.

“NOOOOOOOOO….” She cried and cried… kicking everywhere with all her leftover power, but they pint her down.

Oh God! Noooooooo! I rather die than letting them do this to me!

She could feel the air breeze through her ripped uniform. “Nooooooo” she screamed again

Suddenly she felt the weigh above her was lifted, she heard some kicking, some screaming, and a soft voice calling her.

“Miss are you okay?”

She tried to see who it was, but she felt the unbearable pain in her chest and everything went black.

Kyuhyun got home late that night, it was 10:00 already. He enjoyed meeting Gyuri and talking to her, they have some similarities. He didn’t find anyone in the living room. Weird, usually that woman was there waiting for everyone to get home before going to sleep.

He headed to Nana’s room. “Na-yah….” He knocked this time

No one answer from inside, is she still mad at me?

He opened the door and found no one inside.. “Na-yah!” he looked through her bathroom, but she wasn’t there either… She’s not  at school is she??

He reached his phone, “30 missed called, 1 text message, 1 voice mail”. God! I put the phone on silent mode!

He checked the missed called, it was from home, his dad, that woman, and his hyung. Why they desperately looking for him?

“Oppa, are you coming? I’m waiting for you”

He read her text message. God! Is she still waiting at school? He begin to worry

He checked his voice mail, “Kyuhyunie, we’re at the hospital… something happened to Na-yah… go to the hospital as soon as you get my message” he heard Donghae’s voice

Without thinking twice he sprinted to his car, drive twice the maximum speed limit to get to the hospital. No! This is not happening!

Kyuhyun run into the emergency department, looking for his dongsheng. “Is someone name Cho Nana got admitted today?” he asked the charged nurse

“Who are you?” the nurse asked him

“I’m her oppa” he said impatiently

“She is in surgery right now… your family is waiting outside the operation room” the nurse said

Kyuhyun felt as if he was dropped from the tallest building, his stomach hurt. Kyuhyun found his dad, that woman, and his hyung in front of the operation room. That woman was crying.

“What happened?” Kyuhyun asked his hyung

Donghae looked at him with a mad expression, “Why didn’t you pick her up today Kyuhyun-ah? Why?” he asked him

“Hyung! What happened?” he asked him again, grabbing Donghae’s shirt tightly

“She was almost rapped Kyuhyun-ah” Donghae whispered

“She was what?” Kyuhyun’s eyes widened, he couldn’t believe it

“Those bastards from the boy’s school almost rapped her” he said again

Kyuhyun’s eyes full with anger, “You mean that boy?” he asked him

Donghae nodded

“How is she hyung?”

Donghae shook his head, “I.. I don’t know… there’s something wrong with her heart”

 Kyuhyun fell to the floor pretty hard, he cursed himself! If I picked her up from school today, none of this would have happened!

“I swear if something wrong with her I will kill those bastards!” Kyuhyun cursed again

“I sent someone to take care of them already!” Donghae said

They were waiting for her for a while before the doctor went out from the surgery…

“How is she doctor?” they asked him at the same time

“She is okay now… “ he said which at least put them at east

“However, I tried to close the hole in her heart, but the hole is too big by now..,” he explained, “Her only chance for the future is to get a heart transplant… She’s fine now, but you need to be really careful because slight excitement and running like today could be really dangerous for her.” He added

They all were able to meet her when they moved her to a private room.

Kyuhyun’s heart hurt looking at Nana with cuts, bruises all over her body… She was still unconscious; an oxygen masked was placed to help her breathing

“Na-yah! I’m sorry!” he whispered to her right ear, he grabbed her hand and kissed it… “Please wake up soon!” he said

Donghae went to her left side, grabbing her hand as well… Na –yah! I love you!  He speak through his mind.. I hope you can hear it! Having nearly loose her, made him realize that he actually cared more about her… more than what he thought… more than what he wanted…

Nana was running and running, she had three guys chasing her… they grabbed her… trying to rip her clothes…

“Oppa… oppa help….” She screamed

“Naaa-yah…  I’m here” she felt someone grabbed her hand, someone familiar

She was so scared but she decided to open her eyes…

“Naaa-yah, are you okay? I will call the nurse” he said

“UHmmm?” she was still confused and tearing up

The doctor tried to examine her and lifted her shirt a bit, but she screamed. “NOOOOOO” and begin to cry again

Kyuhyun hold her tightly… “It’s okay Na-yah! He is the doctor” he said

But Nana shook her head hard, she doesn’t want anyone to touch her.

“It’s okay doctor, just don’t touch her for now” he said and the doctor went out of the room

“Oppa….!” She cried and trembling in his arms

“Are you okay? Did you have a bad dream?” he asked her while her hair gently

Nana nodded, she was still trembling.

“Go back to sleep Naa-yah, you need it” he said and planted a kiss on her forehead

Nana shook her head again, she closed her eyes but forced it to open again, “The bad guy came whenever I close my eyes” she said, scared

Kyuhyun sighed, she looked so vulnerable..

“Naaa-yah, oppa will sleep with you okay? I will punch all of the bad guys” he said while climbing to the hospital bed with her

She tighten her grip to him… trying to close her eyes again, “Oppa, I’m scared” she said

Kyuhyun gently kissing her forehead, he sang a song for her… The three little bear

Donghae walked fast to her room, he was just take their parents back to their home, and he went back as fast as he could. He was stunned when he entered her room, she was sleeping peacefully in Kyuhyun’s arms.
