Donghae chose to meet Dad as he dropped me off at the hotel. Dad was with Uncle Kim the Vice Admiral, when we went into his room. We assume that they were discussing Ji's case.
"Donghae, what are your thoughts regarding this case?" Dad enquired.
"Uncle, I hate to say this, but this situation is challenging. You also have your Navy rules to consider.

"Donghae, do we have any opportunity to clear his name?" Uncle questioned.
"We don't legally have it," Donghae said sternly. Tears begin to fall from my eyes. 

"Sandy control your emotions, you can’t be so weak. Think about Lt. what will happen if he finds you in such a condition. You have to be strong. I'll give you one more piece of advice: try not to become impatient." Donghae tried to comfort me. Don't become desperate or lose your cool even if everything is so tied up that there's nothing you can do. You have to accept that the process will take a while and that you will tackle each issue gradually, one at a time.

"Is there any illegal route you can recommend?" Uncle asked Donghae.

"Yes, if I get the go-ahead and some assistance, we can do anything. Will Lt. Kwon concur, though?" Donghae asked. 

"No, he won't," I informed them.

"Uncle, what about the witness and evidence? Do they have enough to support formal charges?"

"That needs to be checked," Uncle assured Donghae.

"Numerous officers have entered and exited the Navy without facing the organization's disciplinary action. Some have brushed it lightly, accepted their losses, and moved on. A comparatively tiny proportion of Navy commanders experience severe repercussions as a result of the court-martial system." Dad updated us.

"Indeed, without a doubt. Even though someone may have committed the crime and is morally responsible for it, there could be several reasons why they were not found guilty, including that they were either discovered to be mentally incapable of standing trial, never recognized, never apprehended or died before they could be prosecuted. The prosecutor did not think there was enough evidence to prosecute them, so they were never charged. Although charges were brought against them, the court decided there wasn't enough evidence to convict them. They managed to evade justice through coercion, intimidation, or some other criminal means." Uncle gave Donghae s
