Context: River scene, poem like story telling, Hyejin is feeling through her feelings without realizing she likes Wheein and thought Wheein needed comforting. Wheein was thinking through her feelings and realized she really likes Hyejin so she tries to be direct this time (after a few failed attempts). (idk how to mark this is idk what this is guys its TRASH TO ME)

A/N to requestor: So I said the original got deleted by my stupidity right? Yeah and I was like ok so lets do 'em differently and boom I ed myself over by saying I'll make it into a poem-esque story only for me to realize how horrible I am at ENGLISH POEMS. I thought I wouldn't do this horribly since I have written several Balagtasan works but wow man this is garbage and I got nothing else honestly... sorry... to the one who requested this...

A/N: Balagtasan is a debate style poem recital by the way. I wrote one about English vs Filipino (in both languages) and independent women (Gabriela Silang) vs nurturing women (Maria Clara). She would start

I’d look at her

She had those eyes again

We walk hand-in-hand

Just by the river

I would say, thinking of questions

Indirect solutions, to get her to tell me

How I can help her

We talk, looking ahead, as we walk

Just by the river

If you would have someone to go home to and cry to, who would it be?

She asks, always with hypotheticals in her head

I would hum in thought, playing with might’ve and maybe

I’d steal a glance again, smile presenting feelings- all unsaid

Then I look forward again, as we follow the flow
