Taeyeon closed the front door behind him and stepped into the empty living room, calling out, "Babe?"

"In here!" Tiffany's voice came from their bedroom. Taeyeon made his way to the room, finding her sitting on the floor with a large suitcase open before her.

"Have you finished packing?" he asked, observing her as she absentmindedly placed her clothes into the suitcase without looking up.

"Almost finished," Tiffany replied, her attention still fixed on the task at hand.

Taeyeon couldn't help but gasp. "Why are you bringing so many things? It's just a short trip."

Tiffany finally glanced up, meeting his gaze. "I also bought a present for your parents."

Understanding dawned on Taeyeon's face. "Ah, right. I just received a call from my mom. She said your parents have arrived at our house."

Tiffany nodded, a smile playing at her lips. "Yeah, my mom told me the same. I could hear her excitement over the phone when she mentioned it."

Taking a seat beside his fiancée, Taeyeon sighed. "It's going to be a long night at my parents' house."

Tiffany's expression softened. "Just remember not to drink too much, okay? I still need you in good condition to drive us back to Seoul."

He shrugged "But what if your dad insists I drink more?"

Tiffany smirked. "Try to come up with any excuse you can think of."

Taeyeon nodded, determination flickering across his face. "I'll do my best."

With her suitcase now zipped up and pushed aside, Tiffany moved to lean against the bed. "Finally done," she sighed in relief. Taeyeon took this opportunity to rest his head on her lap, his face turned towards her belly, planting a tender kiss on it.

"What are you doing?" Tiffany gently ran her fingers through his hair.

"I miss you," Taeyeon mumbled, his voice muffled against her.

Tiffany couldn't help but chuckle. "You literally saw me just two hours ago."

"Two hours feels like an eternity when I'm away from you," he confessed, turning around to look up at her. "I simply cannot live without you."

She grinned, teasingly calling him out. "Sweet talker."

Taeyeon smiled back, his eyes sparkling with affection. He took Tiffany's hand in his, playing with the ring adorning her finger. "It looks beautiful on you," he remarked, a fond smile gracing his face.

"Really? Thank you. I proposed to this guy, and he gave me this ring," Tiffany replied, beaming with pride.

Taeyeon let out a playful groan. "Do you have to bring it up again?" His mind wandered back to that memorable day.

"But it's funny! I'll never forget the look on your face. It was priceless," Tiffany teased, gently pinching his cheek.

"Ha, ha, ha... laugh while you can. I'll find a day to get my revenge on you," Taeyeon declared with a mischievous twinkle in his eyes.

Tiffany chuckled at his remark. "I'll be waiting, but..." She leaned down, pressing her lips to his cheek. "Thank you for saying yes to me."

Taeyeon's smile grew wider. "Hey, you're worth it. I wouldn't want to say yes to anyone else. And I'm not letting you go. Too bad, now you're stuck with me for the rest of your life."

"Wow, that sounds scary and nice at the same time. I should start preparing for it," Tiffany responded, her tone filled with awe.

Taeyeon sat up, facing her, curiosity evident in his eyes. "Tell me honestly, did you already know I was going to propose that day?" He raised an eyebrow.

"Well, I wouldn't have known if you didn't keep the box beside my memo pad in the drawer," Tiffany confessed.

Taeyeon gasped, disbelief washing over him. "So, you knew all along!"

"But I didn't try to ruin it, okay? I waited for you to say it, but it just didn't go as planned. And I swear, all the interruptions that day were really just coincidences!" Tiffany burst into laughter.

Taeyeon stared at her, a mixture of incredulity and amusement on his face. He scoffed, rolling his eyes. "Thank you, Ms. Hwang, for not 'trying' to ruin it"

"I'm soon to be Mrs. Kim, but you're welcome," Tiffany replied, flashing her fiancé a sweet smile.

"And Taetae, it doesn't matter who proposes first. What's important is that we're feeling the same way," Tiffany said softly, pressing her lips against Taeyeon's as he continued to pout. "Stop sulking. It really doesn't suit you."

"I want more kiss," Taeyeon murmured, his voice filled with desire.

Tiffany leaned in closer, granting his wish with another kiss. His hand slid beneath her shirt, gently caressing her tummy. Tiffany, breathless from the touch, shivered and broke the kiss. "Excuse me, sir? Where's your hand going?" she quipped, a playful glint in her eyes.

"To where it's supposed to be," Taeyeon smirked.

Tiffany chuckled. "Do you realize that if we don't get ready now, we'll be late for dinner?"

"Can't we just blame it on heavy traffic?" Taeyeon leaned in closer, his voice a half-whisper. "I need you right now."

Tiffany sighed in defeat. "You're such a ert."

The wedding day

*Knock *knock.

The door to the bride's room swung open, revealing Mr. Hwang standing behind it. He stepped into the room, his eyes meeting his daughter's.

"Dad!" Tiffany exclaimed, rising from her seat with a bright smile, pleasantly surprised to see her father.

"Wow, my princess looks absolutely stunning today." He enveloped her in a warm embrace, his hand gently patting her shoulder.

"Thank you, dad. Why are you here? Where's mom?" Tiffany inquired, her curiosity piqued.

"Your mom is still busy greeting the guests. I wanted to check on my princess before I give her away to her husband," Mr. Hwang explained, his voice filled with a mix of emotions.

"Dad, don't say it like that. I'll always be your favorite daughter," Tiffany playfully retorted.

"I know, but after this, you'll be solely in Taeyeon's care. Be a good wife to him, okay?" Mr. Hwang advised, his gaze filled with fatherly concern.

Tiffany nodded earnestly. "I will."

Mr. Hwang's eyes lingered on his daughter, admiration evident as he took in her exquisite white gown. He lovingly caressed her hair. "Aigoo, I can't believe how quickly time flies. My daughter has grown into a beautiful lady, and now she's getting married."

"Dad, you're going to make me cry," Tiffany confessed, her eyes shimmering with unshed tears.

"Don't cry, honey. This is your day of joy. Smile," he encouraged, his voice tender.

"I can't help it..."

Mr. Hwang's expression softened. "Are you nervous?" he gently inquired.

"Just a little..."

"Don't worry, everything will be fine."

"I know, but still, it's my first time..." Tiffany exhaled, attempting to alleviate her nerves.

"'I will love Tiffany and take care of her, just as you always have'... that's what Taeyeon said to me when he sought our blessings for the first time. It was his promise to me," Mr. Hwang revealed, his eyes gleaming with pride.

Tiffany raised an eyebrow, intrigued by this new information. "This is the first time I'm hearing about it."

Mr. Hwang smiled and nodded. "It was before he proposed to you. He initiated a video call with me and your mom. The moment he made that declaration, it reassured me that you had made the right choice and that I needn't worry about you."

"How did you become so sure, dad?"

"Honey, I've witnessed how he has always cared for you since you were a child. Taeyeon is a good person, with a heart not possessed by everyone. I'm confident he'll bring you happiness," Mr. Hwang stated, taking a deep breath before gently patting his daughter's hand. "Have faith in him."

"Dad..." Tiffany's eyes welled up with a mixture of sadness and gratitude. She had been suppressing the urge to cry and instead mustered a warm smile.

"I love you, dad," she whispered, embracing him tightly.

"I love you too, princess."

...

The grand doors of the hall swung open, accompanied by the melodies of the wedding music as the bride and her father made their entrance. All the guests, friends, and family members stood up in unison, their faces adorned with wide smiles. Standing before the pastor, Taeyeon's gaze was fixated on Tiffany and Mr. Hwang as they made their way down the aisle. He couldn't help but be captivated by her radiant beauty, and with every step she took, his heart raced a little faster.

She's beautiful...

Taeyeon bowed respectfully to his soon-to-be father-in-law, and the older man affectionately patted his shoulder. Sporting a paternal expression, Mr. Hwang leaned in and whispered, "Take care of my daughter, Taeyeon."

"I will," Taeyeon replied, his smile radiating warmth.

"I will go now." Mr. Hwang pressed a gentle kiss on his daughter's forehead before stepping away from the stage. Tiffany watched her father retreat with a tinge of sadness, but her emotions shifted the moment Taeyeon called out her name.

"Fany-ah," he uttered, his gaze fixed on her. Taeyeon extended hi
