Today is the day Hanni was supposed to fly back to Korea. And that fact alone makes Hanna feels uneasy. The fact that Hanni once called in the other day, talking about how she couldn’t even afford to go to the airport and how she’s having a hard time makes Hanna’s mind in a total mess right now. Yes, she did things that shouldn’t be forgiven, but still, it wouldn’t erase the fact that she’s the only family that Hanna had. Yes, she need to learn her lesson and that’s why Hanna never respond to her cry when she asked her for money. But, is she alright there? Why hasn’t she call anymore? If things went as per schedule, they were supposed to arrive in Korea around midnight today. She really hope for her to come back safely. Her mind was in clutter too, thinking about how should she react if she ever confront her later? Thinking that her little sister wouldn’t have a place to stay when she get back, can she ever turn a blind eyes to her little sister’s plead later? More than anything, how would Sehun react once he saw Hanni? What if Sehun never want her to see her little sister again? What kind of reaction will he ever have if Hanni would try to ask for her help?

Sehun left his room to found Hanna sitting by herself on the sofa in the living room. Sehun stop his steps once he noticed Hanna’s absentee. But then continue to approach her later when he found her too immerse in her own thought. Sehun walk to behind the sofa where he place his hands on her shoulder and softly planted a kiss on her hair from her behind. Hanna tilted her head up a little to take a peek on his face before she smiles faintly to him. 

“What are you thinking about? Do you think you can share it with me?” Sehun asked while he gently caresses her hair with his hand. Hanna just crosses her legs on the sofa while fidgeting on her own fingers

“Nothing. I was just thinking about what to cook for dinner. That’s all”

Sehun know she’s lying but still he just smile and go along with her.

“How about we go out for dinner tonight so you don’t have to think about it too much?” Sehun suggested while wrapping his arms on her neck, locking her in his embrace. Hanna turn around to see his side face with a smile. 

“Are you sure we can do that? Is it safe though?” Hanna asked him back. Thinking about how their daily activity were always on the internet before. Sehun grin at her cautious thought.  

“Lets just go with what we wanna do today. Lets not think about anything else. Just for  today, let it just be you and me.” Sehun said while sniffing softly on the crook of her neck which Hanna giggles right away due to the ticklish feeling he sent her. But when he stop and have his chin rested on her shoulder, Hanna just let him be. With an awkward silence lingers between them.

“Did I make you feel uncomfortable?” He asked her and Hanna turn to face him due to the sudden question he throws at her. 

“Not that its uncomfortable but I guess I still couldn’t get myself used to have you around me like this. It feels awkward” Hanna said with a faint smile. Sehun look at her red face.

“Is it good kind of awkward or is it a bad kind of awkward?” Sehun asked. Curious about how he actually makes her feel inside. Hanna then playfully acted likes she’s thinking hard about it leaving Sehun felt impatient.

“Is it that bad?” Sehun asked her again with a serious face and was trying to retreat his arms from her neck which Hanna stop him right away.

“Nah. I just need some time to get used to have you around like this. You know how our relationship before was strictly based on a normal friendship right? So having you this lovey dovey with me all of a sudden makes me feel—you know~ awkward.”

Hanna then steal a glance at Sehun’s side face before rested her head on his arms and she then continue..

“Its good to know that you have this side in you. Its like unwrapping layers of gift before actually knowing what’s inside. You manage to  surprise me every time with your new side that I never thought you ever have it with you all this while. So, its not bad at all. I just need to get myself  to get used to it. And I’m sure I will. Since I have given you the chance, I need to open up myself even more, I guess.”

Sehun’s mouth curved up into a smiles hearing her answer. With her rested her head on his arms, Sehun could clearly saw her pinkish red cheeks while she says that

“I try not to sound too cringey while I said that but still, this is awkwarddddd” Hanna added while trying to cover her face with both of her palms and Hanna started squealing under it. Sehun cant help but smiling brightly at her. Its good to know that. Its mean that Hanna is open about how all this will lead them to. She’s ready to take in whatever he will give her to get this relationship works and that’s more than enough for him at the moment.

With an overjoyed feeling in him, he then pulled Hanna’s hand from her face. He stared at her shy face before he then planted a gentle kiss on the back of her hand.

“Thank you Hanna-ah” Sehun said with a lovely stare on her and have his face rested on her neck again, inhaling her sweet scent. 

“What for? I didn’t even—”

“I’m just—happy. For giving me a chance to actually feel this happy, thank you babe”

“Are you done yet babe?” Sehun asked her right outside of her room while he try to put on his watch on his left wrist. 

“5 more minute and I will be done” Hanna answered him. Sehun then walk into the kitchen and went straight away to the fridge. While taking a bottle of water out, he carefully glance on their half emptied fridge. Closing on the fridge door, Sehun take a few gulp of water and place it on the counter top. He then take out his phone from his pants pocket and started typing something on it before he heard Hanna’s door creaked open. He then place back his phone into his pocket and glance up to her. And right away, he was blown away by the way she dresses herself up for him today. With an amazed expression on his face, he walk to her with a loving eyes. Hanna try to hide her face away from him by hanging her head low and let her hair fall down to cover her face but once Sehun reach her, he immediately tuck that hairs behinds her ear before smiling sweetly to her. Hanna didn’t know where to set her eyes right then due to excessive shy feeling she had in her but Sehun quickly cupped her cheeks with his hand and let her turn her eyes right at his face.

“Did I try too hard? Don’t you think I overdresses myself? Its just a simple dinner, I know but I—”

“You look so beautiful, babe. You look amazing” Sehun said with a gentle smile plastered on his face. Hanna’s face immediately turn into crimson red when she heard him. 

While getting ready just now, Hanna couldn’t help but to fall into dilemma on whether to dress casual or to actually dress fancy for the night. The fact that Sehun is still, just a friend to her, she wanted to just dress in  a casual clothes like how she would usually dress when she’s around him, but then, the fact that she now know about Sehun’s feeling towards her makes she feel different. Somehow, she wanted to dress to impressed him, makes her want to put an extra effort into everything. Hanna really had a very hard time into making this decision. To actually think this hard merely for Oh Sehun, makes her feel insane. The Oh Sehun that she always take for granted, turn into someone that Hanna put this much effort on, this is crazy. Definitely crazy. 

But to see his expression, his reaction to this is totally wholesome for Hanna. From having feelings like you are just doing useless thing and having useless debate in yourself to, to be appreciated and meaningful to someone, its all worth it. It’s a great feeling she’s having inside

“Thank you. You’re looking great yourself too” Hanna said while eyeing his clothes. 

“I really put an extra effort on this. I’m glad you like it”

From dinner to spending some time having a casual conversation, Hanna noticed something in Sehun. Sehun isnt the same Sehun she used to know. The oversensitive and  the one who never care about anything else except for himself, the one who always complaint about  this and that, the one who never care about anyone feeling, the one with lame jokes and sometimes too cold to her, he’s all gone. The one in front of her right now is someone who has so much to talk about, someone who care about her more than he do to himself, someone who concern about her feeling, someone tolerate, someone who is comfortable to be with in a romantic way. What happened to the old Oh Sehun? Is this the real Oh Sehun or the old one was the real Oh Sehun? She really couldn’t differentiate on it now. Everything seems too different for her to take in. This Oh Sehun, even though he’s so comfortable to be with rather than the old Oh Sehun, Hanna almost felt like she didn’t knew Oh Sehun anymore.

Flashback

“Yah! Oh Sehun! Why didn’t you tell me earlier that you want to come here? This is too troublesome. Do you know how hard it is to even parked car here?” Hanna said while busy handling the car steering. Sehun chuckles at her.

“Are you done yet? Because I’m too tired to even argue with you now.” Sehun said while taking off his seatbelt once Hanna finally found a parking spot for his car. He didn’t even wait for her to answer, instead, he got off of the car right away. Hanna took some time to actually gather her things into her handbag before leaving his car. 

“You are so slow. What took you so long?” Sehun said as he walk toward the entrance. Leaving Hanna behind. Hanna scoffed at his attitude and immediately follow him in. 

“Why are you such an today? Are you on your period? Geez!” Hanna exclaimed. 

“You are too slow. How can your boyfriend ever tolerate you?”

“What this got to do with Kris? At least I had a boyfriend. You? You will never got a girlfriend with that nasty temper of yours Oh Sehun!”

“Ohh off!”

“ you off!”

The dinner went alright with the two of them enjoying each other companion and small talk over their past. Some of them will make them laugh and some would end up with small bickering. But all in all, it was a good moment. It’s almost 9 when they walk out of the restaurant. Instead of going home, Sehun drives to nearest park where couple normally went to, to have a nice date with a splendid view of lights and nice lake view. When Sehun first located the restaurant, this park really caught his attention for its infamous hotspot for couple and after a few detailing on how the place is, Sehun decided to have a visit on this place with Hanna and here they are, walking next to each other under the colorful light surrounded them

“Do you remember that we used to come to a place similar to this park before?” Sehun asked her all of a sudden. Hanna furrowed her eyebrow when she heard him. Her mind wondered to those old memories of them and unknowing smiles formed on her lips. 

“We used to fight 24/7, every time we ever saw each others face.” He added which make Hanna chuckles at the fact

“You and your temperamental issues” Hanna said with a rolled eyes. Thinking back about it, he always makes Hanna angry and they would fight over everything. 

“I’m sorry. I guess its just me trying too hard not to show you how I actually feels inside each time you’re so close to me.” He said. Hanna turn to look at him with a sneaky smiles.

“Are you sure you are not doing it just to annoy me?” she asked him with a giggles. Sehun laugh at her words. Trying to wash away the guilty feeling that started to build in him right now.

“Maybe yes. But most of the time is because I felt defeated by my own feeling. Every time I see you, I couldn’t help but to feel jealous of the man that you loved. The man that could call you, his. I would give up everything to call you mine but I know I will never got the chance to, so I was feeling angry at myself. Half of me wanted to give myself a chance but half of me is too afraid of losing you.”

“Why would you feel that you will lose me though?” Hanna asked. She stop her step to turn to look at him. There was not so many people around them since its still weekdays. Hanna look at Sehun under the dim light of the street lamp, the cool and chilly breeze touch their skin softly as they look at each other eyes. Sehun felt overwhelming feeling crept into him right now just from that look alone. To actually stands here, with her knowing his true feeling and still have her by his side, left him with nothing but happy vibes. Sehun hold onto both of her hands, squeezing it slightly to feel her while he nibbled on his bottom lip.

“I’m afraid to not just lose the chance to be with you but what I’m afraid the most is that, if I ever confessed to you and you ever rejected me, I would lose you entirely. As a friend. I’m afraid if we would go from someone who has each others back to a completely stranger. And I don’t want that” 

Hanna glance down as she heard that. Too many thought came to her right now. 

“I guess. Everything just didn’t came at the right timing for both of us…” she said. She glance up again to him and her eyelids immediately drooped at the sight of him

“Guess what?” Hanna asked him in an undertone. Sehun brows drew together as he heard her. 

“What?” 

Hanna chuckles. She take a deep breath and retreated her hands that were in Sehun’s hold and she pressed her hand on his cheeks. As her thumb brushes his cheek softly, curved up into a smile.

“I used to have feeling for you. I thought I had forgotten about it but it came to me when you suddenly—y’know—confessed to me the other day” 

……
“Luuuhaannn” Hanna immediately said in a slurred tone when the line got connected. But only a heavy sigh could be heard on the other line. Hanna’s chest suddenly felt heavy. Her whole body was trembling because she was holding back her tears. 

“Lu… why are you doing this to me? Did I ever do you wrong?” Hanna asked him in a bristle voice. She didn’t hear any answer. Instead, her tears that she was holding in, finally run downs her cheeks. She gulp down another glass of alcohol to mustered up her courage.

“If you wanna treat me this way, we better end this right here. With how you treated me, do you know how hurt it is for me to go through? each day feels like hell. If you wanna ignored me this way, we better go our own ways. That’s better than holding each other’s back like this.” She added with tears and sobs. 

“Okay. Lets end it here. Take care and I’m sorry” Luhan said and without even waiting for Hanna to replied him back, he ends the call right away making Hanna bawling her eyes out calling for his name even  when she knows he’s not on the line anymore. She keep on crying that night at the bar until she finally lose herself there. 

It was the next morning that she woke up with the rattling sound coming from somewhere she didn’t even sure. She left the bed groggily while trying to register everything that happened to her last night. She open the door to her room to walk to the kitchen.  Trying to get herself water to cure her thirsty throat and her throbbing head that has been ponding and clenching her, hard.

She was welcomed by Hanni’s figure standing by the sink, washing the pan and pots in there that creating a loud bang here and there. She scrunched her face immediately to the sight. Knowing Hanni, she know her sister will never ever do any house chores. All  this while, it was only her who managed the house. Hanni was too busy with her studies. 

“What are you doing?” Hanna asked her as she stood and stare at her sister’s back. Hanni turn around to show her pouty and sulky face to her. But she never answer Hanna’s question. Instead, she took that as a queue for her to show her rebellious side by rubbing on the back of the pot viciously and knocking the pot and pan towards each other, creating a very loud clang that’s uncomfortable to everyone ears.

“Hanni~ stop! Leave it there if you never have the heart to do it. I will do it later. Whats wrong with youuu?!” Hanna said. Her headache become worst with the sounds coming from the sink that she almost puke her guts out, right there. Hanni heard her and close the tap immediately with a silly smile on her face. She knew her sister will save her at any cost. And just when she was about to leave the sink, a man came in from the front door, with an apron hanging on his neck, he his teeth hard creating a loud hissed as he put both of his hands rested on his waist, glaring at Hanni to continue with her part. 

“Sehun? What  are you doing here?” Hanna asked him with a questionable and curious look. Sehun still had his eyes on Hanni as she was forced to get back to her works. Satisfied with Hanni’s reaction, Sehun turn his focus on
