“Did something happen again?” asked Somi as she poked Jisoo’s arm. “You always cover your face with your book whenever something weird happens to you..”

 

Jisoo sighed.

 

She clearly remembers everything she said and did two nights ago..

She knows what was happening around her.. she was aware of everything..

But she feels too embarrassed now..

Where does she get all the courage whenever she gets drunk?

Professor Kim must have thought she was weird!

 

“I’m not acting strange.. this is normal to me..” she said smiling at Somi who was still looking at her.

 

“Then why aren’t you answering Professor Kim? He has been calling your name to check our attendance..” said Somi pointing to the front with her lips.

 

Jisoo’s eyes widened.

Why couldn’t she hear anything?

 

She took a peek of Professor Kim and found him looking at her.

 

“Kim Jisoo is present..” she said softly as she continued peeking at him from the book she had in her hands.

 

She saw him smiling a little.

 

“You were there..” said Taehyung as he continued.

 

Jisoo covered her face again.

 

She better apologize to him or else she won’t be able to talk to him again!

 

She didn’t even go out at all yesterday because she was afraid to bump into him at their building!

 

She cannot go on like this forever! 

This is torturing her!

 

 

The class ended.

 

“You’re not going out?” asked Somi as she stood up.

 

Jisoo cleared as she turned her head to Taehyung who was organizing his stuff.

 

“Uhmm.. I will.. in a minute..” she said faking a smile as she took another quick glance of Taehyung.

 

Somi nodded her head before going out quickly.

 

Jisoo heaved a sigh of relief.

Well.. she doesn’t need to hurry anyway.. her next class is in an hour.. and she has plenty of time.

 

She put her books and notebooks inside her backpack but when she was about to go towards Taehyung, she noticed Tzuyu and Mina approaching him.

 

She stopped.

 

Those two are always around Professor Kim! Do they like him that much?

Look at them spoiling him with some desserts! Is that what a good student would do? How could they-..?

 

But before she could judge them, she remembered what she did instead..

 

She shouldn’t be thinking of what others do around Professor Kim..

She should be worried for herself!

 

She talked to him like he were a friend.. she made him buy drinks for her.. she cried a lot in front of him and.. she even hugged him!

 

Now she should be explaining herself if that was what a good student would do!

 

She waited patiently until the two girls went away.

 

And then she approached Taehyung slowly.. but very slowly..

 

She cleared .

 

“About.. that night..” she said softly as she clenched her fists and lowered her gaze.

 

“You aren’t going to punch me, are you?” asked Taehyung putting down his stuff and taking a step towards her.

 

He could see her looking at him from afar before..

He noticed she was waiting for the other students to go so she could talk to him..

And so he took his time to get his things done..

 

Jisoo lifted her gaze.

 

“What?” she asked puzzled.

 

Taehyung grabbed her by her wrist and raised it lightly.

 

“This..” he said looking at her. 

 

Jisoo’s eyes widened. She didn’t know she was putting her hands into fists! But why is he so sensitive today? Was he offended by what she did? Why would he think she would punch him?

 

But Taehyung was finding her actions cute instead.

 

She resembles a child the more he gets to know her..

Look at those tiny fists.. and pouty lips.. she must be really embarrassed..

 

Jisoo pulled her hand away.

 

“I don’t punch other people..” she said frowning. “Why would-..?”

 

“You must hug them instead..” said Taehyung interrupting her.

 

Jisoo’s eyes widened.

He’s clearly referring to what she did two nights ago!

 

“I’ll apologize for that..” said Jisoo shutting her eyes tightly. “I was out of my mind.. I was too drunk that I kept doing whatever I wanted to do-..”

 

“Did you sleep well that night?” asked Taehyung cutting her again.

 

Jisoo opened her eyes and looked at him.

 

“Did you rest well? Did you have a good sleep?” Taehyung continued.

 

Jisoo nodded.

She did sleep.. very well..

It was the first time she slept for eight hours after a long time..

And maybe because she was able to talk to him that night and share her worries to him, she felt as light as a feather when she woke up yesterday morning..

 

“That’s a relief..” said Taehyung smiling. 

 

Jisoo raised her brows together.

 

“Are you not angry?” she asked baffled. “I mean.. I did some stupid things and also-..”

 

“Do you like eating cakes?” asked Taehyung as he held a pink box in his hand. 

 

Jisoo’s brows were knit together as she stared at the box.

Isn’t that what Tzuyu and Mina gave him earlier?

 

“Do you not like cakes?” asked Taehyung again.

 

Jisoo blinked a few times.

Why is he asking her? What does it have to do with what she was telling him before?

 

“I.. l love eating cakes.. of course.. but I-.."

 

Taehyung grabbed her hand and gave her the box of cake.

 

“Then have this..” he said while quickly letting go of her hand and taking a step back.  “I won’t eat it anyway..”

 

Jisoo was taken aback.

How is she supposed to eat the cake those two girls gave him?

Does Professor Kim want to see her hair getting pulled?

 

“No.. I can’t take this.. how can I possibly-..?”

 

“Then should I just throw it away?” Taehyung asked as he put the pile of papers down the table. 

 

Jisoo raised her brows.

What does he mean throw it away? Does he even know how much this costs? Having a piece of this cake is a luxury to her!

 

Taehyung went closer to her again and was going to take the box away from her when Jisoo took a step back and held it tightly on chest.

 

“You gave it to me already..” she said pouting. “How can a man just take back what he has already given?”

 

Taehyung chuckled.

She must love that cake that much!

 

“Then.. I’ll leave..” Jisoo continued. “Since I have an hour of break right now.. I’ll eat this..”

 

And she ran outside the room as soon as she could.

Oh wait.. so did he accept her apology or what?

 

Whatever! As long as he doesn’t seem mad at her then it’s fine!

 

Meanwhile, Taehyung was smiling to himself as he saw her leave.

Won’t she get stomachache if she eats something sweet at this time of the day?

 

He looked at his watch.

It was only past 10 am..

His next class is in two hours..

 

What should he do now?

Should he just wait here inside?

But that’ll be boring..

 

And while thinking of what to do during those two hours.. he received a message from Jungkook..

 

 

 

 

“We’re coming over to your house tonight hyung.. Lisa will take care of the pizza and RM hyung and I will bring drinks!”

 

 

 

 

Taehyung shook his head in disbelief.

Who invited them over? Who told them to come? 

He can’t believe these friends of his!

Jisoo was reading a book as she happily ate the cake Professor Kim had given her.

 

Today must be her lucky day! She’s eating a delicacy like this while relaxing herself in this peaceful place!

 

She wished everyday would be like this!

 

She put the cake inside the box and wiped with a tissue.

She should eat the other half later when she gets hungry.

Who knows when she will have this again?

 

She continued reading until she felt a presence behind her..

She looked at her shadow.. and there was really someone standing behind her!

Who could it be? Who is destroying her peace at this time?

 

She rose on her feet and turned around immediately.

 

She was about to curse when she saw it was Professor Kim!

 

“You scared me!” she said holding onto her chest. “What are you doing here?”

 

Taehyung scratched the back of his head embarrassedly.

He didn’t know he’d scare her that much..

 

“I’m sorry.. it’s just.. I also have two hours of free time today.. and I saw you were here alone so I wanted to ask you if I could give you company..”

 

Jisoo heaved a sigh.

 

He could have done so without having to startle her!

Sometimes he is also weird!

 

“I also wanted to ask you about a few things.. good thing you came..” she said as she sat down. “I was reading this part and got confused-..”

 

Then she saw he hasn’t taken a seat yet.

 

She stood up again and grabbed him by his arm pulling him down to sit beside her.

 

“This part..” she said as her other hand opened her notebook. “You mentioned something about Commedia..”

 

Taehyung’s throat moved fast as he felt their shoulders touching.. her hand holding his arm tightly.. and her face close to his..

 

Why does he suddenly feel nervous beside her? 

 

 

“What was it?” asked Jisoo again as she turned to look at his eyes.

 

And just then, she realized that they were sitting very close to each other.

 

She quickly moved herself away from him.

 

It felt hot for a moment.. 

 

“I’m sorry.. I didn’t know that-..”

 

“What were you asking me again?”  asked Taehyung after seeing her embarrassed.

 

She didn’t have to be..

He wasn’t feeling uncomfortable or anything..

She could have stayed beside him without worries..

 

“Commedia..” Jisoo uttered softly.

 

Taehyung moved closer to her this time.

 

“Let me see your notes..” he said taking his notebook away from her.

 

He smiled as he read all of her notes.
