It was painful to see RM and Jisoo dancing together intimately with that romantic music in the background.

 

RM was looking at her with eyes full of love.. and Jisoo was listening attentively to everything he was saying to her..

 

Taehyung left the hall immediately.

He couldn’t bear it anymore..

He was afraid he’d do something he’d regret if he continued watching the two playing a sweet couple..

 

He entered the room assigned to him and didn’t know Mina was following him all along..

 

“Oppa.. what’s wrong?” asked Mina concerned.

 

She has been talking to him since earlier yet he never answered her.

 

“I was only asking you to dance.. did I perhaps make you angry?” she continued asking.

 

Taehyung sighed.

He didn’t even listen to anything she said before..

His attention was completely on Jisoo and RM that he couldn’t hear anything at all..

 

“I’m sorry..” said Mina holding his arms gently. “If I made you mad.. I’m sorry oppa.. I-..”

 

Taehyung held her hands and put them down without letting them go.

 

Mina smiled.

Taehyung seems to have started accepting her..

Maybe once this party ends, the two of them will be officially a couple..

 

“Oppa.. how about I also sleep here tonight?” she said biting her lower lip. “With you?”

 

Taehyung didn’t answer and was just looking blankly at her.

 

“I mean.. I think it’s quite cold tonight if I stay alone..” Mina continued. “Can I stay here instead?

 

But instead of hearing an answer from him, Taehyung pulled his hands slowly from hers making her confused.

“Oppa.. what’s wrong?” she asked nervously. “Are you being like this because of Jisoo again? I told you already.. she is just confusing you-..”

 

“I still love her..” said Taehyung firmly as he remained still in her embrace. “Jisoo.. still makes my heart flutter.. I don’t think I have ever stopped loving her..”

 

Mina pulled herself away from him slowly.

 

“But Jisoo might not feel the same oppa.. as you can see she’s busy hooking up with your friend and-..”

 

“I’m sorry Mina..” said Taehyung looking straight at her.

 

Mina clenched her hands on her sides.

 

“I have never stopped liking you either oppa.. you know that..” she said tearing up. “I was.. always behind you.. all these years.. so please.. open your heart to me too..”

 

Taehyung lowered his gaze.

He only has eyes for one woman.. and it is never going to be her..

 

Jisoo is the only one for him.. she’s the only person who can make him happy and sad.. no one else is going to make him fall in love if not her..

 

He was keeping his head low when he saw Mina’s gown pooling down to her feet.

 

“I’m willing to give everything to you oppa.. I’m willing to do anything so please give me a chance..” said Mina stepping out of her gown and walking even closer to Taehyung.

 

Taehyung lifted his gaze to her face.

 

“I’m sorry..” he said softly. “I can’t love you.. I can’t like you.. there’s no way I will fall for you.. because I’m already in love with Jisoo..”

 

Mina’s eyes were glistening with tears as she looked at him.

 

She could feel the cold air brush against her skin but what was making her shiver was the embarrasment she made by getting and throwing herself to him yet he didn’t even spare a glance at her body..

 

“I’m sorry Mina.. I cannot give you what you want..” said Taehyung in a soft voice. “You should.. forget me..

 

Mina’s tears were falling one after another.

Taehyung pulled her into his arms and tapped her back gently trying to give her comfort for the very least..

The morning after..

 

 

Jisoo was going towards the breakfast room when RM appeared in front of her surprising her.

 

“Goodmorning..” he said smiling. 

 

Jisoo bowed her head slightly.

 

“Goodmorning oppa..” she said softly.

 

RM looked closer at her face.

Jisoo didn’t look good after the party last night..

She suddenly looked pale as if she were not feeling well but she kept saying she was fine..

She knows she shouldn’t be thinking of them right now.. she shouldn’t be bothered about whatever they do behind everyone’s backs.. but everytime she closes her eyes.. she can see Taehyung hugging a Mina in his arms..

 

She couldn’t even sleep a wink last night.. if only she hadn’t controlled herself she might have gone to their room to check on them..

And she knows it’s wrong.. because Taehyung is nothing but an acquaintance of her now..

She was thinking to herself when RM held her by her arm.

 

“You okay?” he asked leveling his eyes to hers.

 

He has been talking by himself and noticed she was thinking aloud.

 

What could have happened to her? Why does she look sick all of a sudden?

 

He let her go first as he waited for his coffee.

 

Jisoo sat beside Lisa who had her lips pursed.

 

“What’s wrong?” asked Jisoo as she put her plate on the table. 

 

Lisa sighed as she pointed at her toes.

 

“That guy stepped on my foot last night..” she then said pointing at Jungkook who has just come inside to the breakfast room. 

 

Jisoo’s lips curled up.

Lisa made her laugh with a single phrase..

 

Jungkook must have stepped on her foot while dancing last night!

Aren’t the two of them hilarious!?

 

“I can’t even wear heels today because of him..” Lisa continued as she glared at Jungkook while holding a knife tightly in her hand. “Maybe I should just fire that punk!”

 

Jisoo chuckled.

She keeps on saying that but she knows she likes her friend a lot!

 

Then her eyes went to the cellphone on the table.

 

“That’s Taehyung oppa’s phone..” said Lisa. “He came to have breakfast early and left it.. and seeing he hasn’t come back to get it he might have already forgotten about his phone..”

 

Jisoo’s brows were knit together.

So.. Taehyung came already?

 

“He said he wanted to swim today so he went by himself to the pool area..” Lisa continued. “And about that bitc-.."

 

Lisa covered .

 

“I’m sorry.. I haven’t seen her since last night.. I don’t think she came out of her room yet..”

 

Jisoo lowered her gaze to the table.

 

“I was planning to give this back to Taehyung oppa later..” said Lisa holding the phone in her hand. “The ship will be going back to the port in three hours-..”

 

“Let me give it to him..” said Jisoo softly. “I’ll give it to him myself..”

 

She took the phone away from Lisa.

 

“Okay..” said Lisa raising her brows together. “Fine.. you can bring it to him yourself..”

After walking back and forth in front of the door to the pool area, Jisoo finally decided to go inside.

 

She held the phone tightly on her chest as she walked in cautiously.

 

But no matter how much she looks around, there is no Taehyung here..

 

The pool area is completely empty.. no one is swimming.. there’s nobody inside there!

 

Did Lisa really hear from Taehyung that he’d go swimming? Then why isn’t he here?

 

She walked closer to the pool as she continued looking left and right..

Maybe she should have also brought some swimsuit and asked Lisa to swim with her..
