“Should we take another walk?” asked Taehyung as he held Jisoo’s hand tightly. 

 

Jisoo chuckled.

 

They have been going around their neighborhood for at least an hour.

 

“It’s almost midnight..” she said. “We should go home now..”

 

Taehyung sighed a little.

But he wants to keep holding her hands like this..

 

“Let’s have breakfast together tomorrow morning instead..” said Jisoo smiling. “I’ll come to your place early.. I need to see what Jhope is doing anyway.. I have to make sure he isn’t making it hard for Professor Kim..”

 

Taehyung pulled her closer to him.

 

“Professor Kim?” he asked smirking. “I thought I was Taehyung oppa..”

 

Jisoo’s eyes widened.

She did call him oppa a few hours ago!

 

“That was.. a slip of a tongue.. I’m sorry..” she said feeling embarrassed.

 

It just came out of without realizing it..

 

Maybe because saying she loves her professor wasn’t very appropriate..

 

Although they are only 3 years apart.. he’s still her professor at the university..

 

“No need to be sorry.. I liked it.. and I wish you would continue calling me Taehyung oppa.. when it’s just the two of us..” said Taehyung running his fingers through her hair. 

 

Jisoo bit her lower lip.

Why does calling him “oppa” make her nervous when she bravely kissed him on the lips just this evening!

 

She cleared .

 

“Okay.. oppa..” she said refraining herself from smiling. 

 

Taehyung chuckled. 

 

She looked too cute just now.

 

 

“Let’s go inside..” he said opening the door.

 

It’s fortunate that they are living in the same building..

They can go home together and see each other in the morning always..

 

“I’ll accompany you upstairs..” he said taking a step. 

 

Jisoo nodded her head.

It’s quite weird to have someone see her until her doorstep.. she still feels awkward but she will get used to this..

 

She unlocked her door as slow as she could while still holding Taehyung’s hand.

 

“I’ll go in..” she said lowering her gaze. “Good.. night..”

 

Taehyung let go of her hand.

 

“Goodnight..” he said smiling a little. 

 

Jisoo bowed her head before stepping inside but as soon as she did, Taehyung grabbed her by her wrist making her stop again.

 

“I.. I think.. you forgot something..” he said clearing his throat.

 

Jisoo’s brows furrowed.

Did she really forget something? What is it?

Ohh.. maybe she understands now..

 

“Thank you..” she said smiling. “For the bag..”

 

Taehyung looked disappointed.

Does she think he wants her to say “thank you” again?

The only thing he needs is another kiss!

 

“Well.. that’s nothing.. I already told you..” he said faking a smile. 

 

Jisoo was looking at him as she waited for him to release the grip on her wrist.

Why isn’t he letting her go?

Does he need to tell her something else?

What could that be?

 

“So.. I’m really leaving.. have a good night..” said Taehyung slowly letting go of her wrist. “If there’s nothing else you want to do then I’ll really go now..”

 

And that’s when Jisoo realized what he wanted..

 

“Wait..” she said grabbing his hand this time. 

 

Taehyung raised his brows in anticipation.

Did she understand his signal?

 

“Goodnight..” said Jisoo as she rose on her tiptoes and kissed him on his cheek.

 

She was still feeling giddy after that kiss when Taehyung pulled her closer to him and touched her lips with his.

 

“Here..” he said pulling his head a little. “It’s where you should kiss me..”

 

Jisoo’s cheeks turned red.

Okay.. she undersands it now.. she will kiss him on his lips starting from now on..

 

Taehyung pulled himself away from her.

 

“Now I can sleep comfortably..” he said smiling widely. “Goodnight..”

 

Jisoo bit her lower lip. He should have said it from the start! Why did he have to make her guess what to do?

 

She entered her place while Taehyung went downstairs.

 

“Professor Kim.. ohh.. I mean.. Taehyung oppa.. is the sweet type..” she said to herself as she sat down her bed.

 

She has never had a day life this in 23 years..

Although she was scared of anyone seeing them together inside and outside the university.. she has to admit that she enjoyed the thrill..

 

Taehyung was so fun to be with.. and she likes the fact that he is taking it slow with her.. 

Well.. she doesn’t know it either if he has been in other relationships before but.. she can see that he is a true gentleman by the way he treats her..

 

She was still admiring Taehyung when she noticed something on top of her sidetable..

 

A note and an envelope..

 

It seemed like the note was written by Jhope..

She will never get mistaken with her friend’s ugly handwriting..

She has known him since they were kids.. it’s impossible to not recognize it..

I know you’ll get mad because I didn’t give this to you personally but I suddenly had to go back today to see my parents. Don’t worry about me and just focus on your professor.. oops I mean your studies..

Jisoo opened the envelope and found money inside.

She counted them..

It was a thousand dollars..

 

When did that guy get this money? How? Is he crazy? 

He should have kept it for his parents!

 

She sighed as she reached her phone immediately and tried to call him.

 

But just like the other times, she couldn’t reach him anymore.

 

She held the envelope tightly in her hand.

Did Jhope..  leave her alone again?

He didn’t even stay for more than a week..

How could he not tell her anything?

 

She took a deep breath.

 

He will come back again, won’t he?

It’s almost his birthday yet he didn’t celebrate it with her..

 

He can stay away from her but he has to stay safe always.. she’ll kill him if anything bad happens to him!

 

But.. she is really worried about him..

Jhope looked like he lost some weight.. he’s too thin.. is he not eating well or is he just stressed these days?

 

She sighed yet again as her worries flooded her mind.

Taehyung’s eyes are automatically going towards Jisoo no matter what he does..

 

And he can’t help but look at her in his class specially because she is out of focus today!

 

She must be thinking about her bestfriend again..

That Jhope guy is really no good! He made her cry a lot when he took her money and he made her cry again by paying her back and leaving her!

 

“Class is over.. thank you for today..” he said as he dismissed the class.

 

He put his books away while glancing at what Jisoo was doing.

 

She was just sitting there while holding a pen in her hand.

Is she okay? Did she even hear that class was over already?

 

He was waiting for everyone to leave the room when Mina and Tzuyu approached him.

 

He sighed.

 

He’s still mad at them for what they did to Jisoo a few days ago.. if only Jisoo hadn’t told him to just let it be, he would have filed a complaint against them..

 

And the worst thing is that.. they don’t even know what they did wrong!

How could they not even apologize to her?

 

“We bought some french macarons, we hope you like them Professor Kim..” said Mina shyly as se handed him the box of sweets.

 

Taehyung sighed.

He can’t do this anymore.. he will not take anything from them anymore..

 

“I’m sorry.. I can’t accept this..” he said coldly as he continued organizing his stuff.

 

Tzuyu and Mina seemed disappointed.

 

“But.. this is just-..”

 

“I have a girlfriend already..” said Taehyung clearly as he glanced at Jisoo who was then looking towards him. 

 

It’s better that they know he’s in a relationship already so they will stop their fantasies about him!

 

Tzuyu and Mina didn’t say anything and just went away.

He hopes they will never bother him again!

“Why didn’t you accept it?” asked Jisoo pouting.

“I thought my girlfriend would get jealous..” he replied as he pushed the hair that was covering her face. “Are you okay? You were out of focus the whole time...”

“I’m sorry..” she said feeling bad.
